Solomining probably isn't feasible right now. The above steps are correct but the chances of you finding a block are pretty slim. You would be much better off joining a pool.

I do not think so. The difficulty is the same, but the block reward is half. I think blackcoin pool will leave soon if it is chases the most profitable coin.

yeah thats what I was thinking. If it goes unnoticed then the miners on blackcoinpool will only get half the bc they were meant too. Would be funny.

so we chomped through a multipool's sell order and price still remained somewhat steady? Where is the problem? this seems to be one of the only x11 coins worth a damn if you don't like pos...not surprising that its one of the more profitable x11 coins to mine.

Love this Blackcoinpool timing, right before the reward halving. Profitability is rather funny now. Not sure how we can be the most profitable X11 coin with them doubling the difficulty, but whatever; I await with my buy orders on Poloniex.

We're close, but not there yet. Block 43200 is last 50 coin block. We're at 42891 as of a few seconds ago.

The reason why multipool is with us is that we are the most profitable coin. The more hash rate we have, the more protection we have against 51% attack.

The extra hash will also drive up the difficulty and make the dump at lower price less likely. That is a different way of looking at the effect of multipool.
