It would be interesting to know where you live, because it seems that there are huge differences on how lotteries are conducted from country to country.

In my case, I don't only know a couple of cases of people who won the Euromillions and are now rich (2nd grade relationship, "friends of friends", unfortunately... otherwise they might have a detail with me ), but a few years ago a big prize of the Christmas lottery was also paid in the city I live in, and many acquaintances of my neighbourhood won like 250k per ticket, not enough to make you rich, but life changing if well managed.

The main difference is that in sport betting we analyze matches and can influence the chances of our win. And in casino games the result depends on luck only and we can`t increase our chances of winning. And as i said before - we have a great chance of winning in sport betting even without analyze if we compare it with our chances in lotteries.

Sports bets are easier to analyze than other games in gambling and at. That football most especially has become the most popular sports bet among others since football is most loved by male fans and at that we have to give it the most accolades at some point,  we have seen a lot of huge winnings in sports in the last month hard the story of a guy who won 38 million of my local currency from stakes he made in some football games from the premier league.

Lottery sometimes have the higher rewards but their winning doesn't easily come by and sometimes you will need to choose tons of ticket numbers before you make a small win.

Dont expect much because if you do find yourself that being that too optimistic on winning that jackpot then you would really be finding yourself to be that impulsive on which it might cause that you might really be

spending up tons of amounts on daily basis on buying up a ticket because you are really that trying to pursue on hitting those combinations on which we know that once desperate would kick in then it cant really be that easily stopped or something that would really vary on how much control you do have towards yourself. Buying in groups which i could really increase out that kind of chance on winning but those chances are really that still low considering on how many combinations that are possible existing and you do have that point though that they would be continuing on doing this until they do hit up.

Might take forever? yes it could be because seeing or just checking on the odds then it would really be that so hard on hitting those right combinations.
This is why if you do take up some lottery and makeout some bets then it would be always advisable on making use of the amount on which you can afford to lose or
doesnt really mind on spending on everyday.

It's something that I've talked about for years on this forum, and I've never seen someone from my country live who won the lottery jackpot in my country, I've seen them talk about the first name of the winner on TV, but they hide the person's second name and hide the face of the person who won the maximum prize, but strangely enough, when someone wins another prize in another competition, for example a person wins the prize for a new car which the price of the car costs around 50,000$, all TV channels and newspapers show the winner's face and his full name and the face of the winner's family and where he lives, in other words, everyone has no doubts about whether there really was a real winner

This is because when they show the winner's house, the competition organizers will deliver the new car to the winner's house and the neighbors also appear in the news to serve as witnesses. This shows proof that there really was a real winner. but strangely, in the case of the lottery winner in my country, they don't show the person's full name and face, they don't show where that person lives and they don't go to that person's house. see that many times the winners of the lottery jackpot in my country win when the maximum amount has not yet been reached

win when the value is still very low, something like $20,000, so it doesn't make any sense to hide the face of the lottery winner who won $20,000, hide his full name, his real address, his neighbors and relatives when every month many people they win new cars in many competitions in my country and the price of the car costs above 35000$, and see that the winners of the cars even show their entire neighborhood and house and interview their neighbors, this to me could mean that in the case of lottery the winner is fake or there is no winner, it could be a scheme that makes people spend money every day buying tickets and no one wins. That's why I don't play the lottery, I don't trust the lottery

It can happen to several people who gather together and ultimately decide to make a group purchase and hold onto it until the outcome is decided. They may want to increase their chances of winning, but without luck, they will not be able to win. But even though they haven't been able to win, they can try another time and still buy with their group because they realize the chances are still greater than if they bought the tickets individually. If they still feel comfortable buying lottery tickets as a group, they will continue to do so. And if at some point, they feel it's better to buy their tickets individually, they'll choose that.

Buying a lottery is fun, especially since the price is not too expensive. But we have to know how long we need to buy the lottery because winning the lottery ticket will take a long time, and without any luck, we will not be able to win.

This is interesting! Can you, please, explain more how can lottery companies make the chance of winning smaller? I don't know which lottery game you are talking about exactly but I believe they all have the same concept. This is why I can't understands how this can be done!
Also, regarding the prize for the second place, as far as I know the odds of winning the second place are way higher than hitting the jackpot and winning the first place. So, it's normal if the prize is smaller, or am I missing something?

There are even people or bettors who do really find up some groups to make some group buys on which they are really that increasing their odds on having that kind of scheme or set up on which its not really that something new but somewhat a very risky thing specially on the time that your group would be able to make some hit then i cant really just imagine on how those people would really be dividing those winnings.
I do always assume out that there would really be problems that might arise or culprits which would really be resulting into those argumentation. It's true, the chances of ever winning the lottery are astonishingly small and lottery companies are increasingly making it harder to win by making little mathematical tweaks that make it magnitudes of difficulty harder. It annoys me when the "second place" prizes are also ridiculously small when they can be pretty similar in difficulty to win on as well. However, as you've stated, whenever I buy a lottery ticket it is to go to bed and dream of the tiniest possibility of waking up to complete financial freedom. The possibilities that winning millions would open up in your life are endless and there are very few similar shortcuts to wealth, so for a few dollars every so often it is nice to think of winning so big.

Well you do got a point because those jackpot prizes wont really be bloating just like that or becomes big if there were no bettors. If those numbers did increase then it do really signifies that there are really
people who do love on purchasing those tickets and wont really be that minding about those odds of winning and they would really be keeping on betting until they would really be able to hit up that jackpot.
Lottery tickets do usually cost $1-5 depending on how much you would really be that combinations your throwing on every draw date. Just keep it with those amounts and never ever be spending on the money

It depends on what kind of life we are being promised and the (day)dream we are shown before we decide to pay a dollar in a systematic way. Your approach is quite interesting that probability < possibility because possibilities have very high chances but the rewards are very low, and probabilities have very less chances and very, very high risk of losing that amount paid for the lottery if not won and in rare scenario does anybody win and not just recover the paid amount but 100000 times or even more than that.

We cant really deny that having more tickets does give out that more chances of winning but it would really be still that <1% Unless if you have decided to buy up all the possible combinations then its up to you but

we know that there's no such man or bettor does have the capability or does have the intend on doing so because even if you do purchase up tons then it wont really be giving out guarantees that you could really be able to make money with that on which its better to make yourself on that realistic side of things that lotteries are really having that slim chance on hitting up the jackpot.
You cant really just that able to slim up that chance no matter what. This is why its important that you should really be knowing on where you should really be that sticking into
and not to make yourself that delusional on why you are really that thinking up that you could hit that jackpot so easily because we know that it cant just happen.

Yep, the double chance makes your chances about 66% but the same time you decreases your odds. The most times the double chance give you odd about your bet + 3-5%. It will be just spend of time. But in sport betting we can analyze the match and choose the winner. And in the lottery we have only luck. I don`t believe in luck

People who place bets on the lottery realize that the odds are almost impossible because they have to compete with other people, and it will only depend on each person's luck. And if someone buys more lottery tickets, he has a bigger chance than someone else, but it still comes down to luck. But we know that there are people who can really be lucky in the lottery game, and he also doesn't have many lottery tickets, but he can be the lottery winner. There isn't even any charity lottery money here because it's run by a private entity.

Of course, this is just wonderful and completely unrealistic luck!  Naturally, all local newspapers should have reported about such a win.  Actually, you know about this.  Such cases, of course, happen and this impresses people more and more and essentially advertises the very holding of lotteries. 

As I know, in most jurisdictions in the world there are laws regulating the conduct and rules of lotteries because a percentage of the amount of sales of lottery tickets must be established, which must be allocated to the winnings of the winner or several winners.  The organizers are obliged to pay the winners no less than the amount determined by these percentages.  And interest is established by law or other legal act of the state.  This is an elementary fight against possible fraud during the lottery.  Many people know about these rules and this, in my opinion, greatly contributes to the success of distributing lottery tickets. 
And add advertising with such random and huge winnings and, like a guy who bought a sandwich at a gas station. 
So it turns out that quite a large number of the population participates in the purchase of lottery tickets.  This is especially practiced in countries with low living standards.

Saw this post the other day some dude went to the gas station just to buy a sandwich and bought a scratch off and won 2 million. Ima need to grab a sandwich hold my beer hahaha. Sometimes people just get stupid lucky and random impulse buy a lotto ticket without even thinking of probability or possibly, they just wanted a sandwich lmao
