Third year paid and third estrous cycle started (simultaneously the best and worst part of being a vixen, which I'm still not getting tired of ). If you're asking me to rank recent and current disasters by how bad they are and their effect on my productivity and mental health, I'm going to have to pass. For one thing, there's just too damn many of them.

That's what happened last Sunday: I felt much better in the morning, and stopped taking paracetamol. Then it got back, headaches again and soaking my bed. I'm now using different blankets througout the night because they get so wet, and spend most of the day on the couch.

I would have preferred to be wrong on this...This defcon shit made me realize my number one fear is being unable to protect my children. It's a terrible feeling, and I'm not sure how much of it is caused by having my judgement clouded from being ill. It makes all my tiny little first world worries from not so long ago look very insignificant.
I am not ill and I still have not much of a clue what I could do for real to keep my kids safe if a nuke falls.
So worrying too much won't really help...

Don't celebrate victory yet, the bugger loves to play dead for a short while just to hit in another area. I surely hope it's not the case for you, still, make sure you're prepared (and continue to take medicine if you started doing that).

Are you saying the reasons are worse than current events? I've been following the 2022 disaster bingo and within 2 months several boxes can be checked.

After watching "Ferry" & "Undercover" TV series I decided to run away for a week to one of Dutch campings. Weather forecast for the next week does not look perfect, but still any kind of holidays is better than nothing. Even on North Sea.
