That's not a 30 minute exercise.
It's not. It's part of a list of overly easy exercises to be done (all together) and should not need more than 30 minutes (all together).
Here, screen time is strictly controlled nowadays, and has to be earned with good behaviour. It makes things better for all of us.
Trying to get there, but not there yet. It seemed to work while there was school, it seems to not work as good in the vacation. Still working on it.
I just tested: they couldn't recognize the Woody Woodpecker laugh. I'll add it to my list.
Tom & Jerry, Pink Panther, Woody, Popeye, ... there's quite a list of great cartoons.
I also found out that's a good age for Laurel and Hardy movies

Don't trust, verify. They've done their paper next day, I was happy (actually pleasantly surprised) with the outcome and we were good again.

My nephew don’t even bother giving a single glimpse at the TV i bought them when they come over. Twitch and YouTube only.

It isn’t a proper holiday if you don’t forget everything during the holiday, and if you don’t spend at least one month remembering everything you learnt during the previous year!

Exactly because 4 weeks have already passed. Exactly because they probably won't touch math for another 3 weeks at least (then they have to start the proper homework).

If that's indeed correct, count yourself lucky. Here the summer vacation lasts 12-13 weeks. Mine are in vacation for 4 weeks already.
Now this is something I can cope with!
