Hey, can you extract BTG from P2SH address ?
I don't know, I've never tried it, and can't find a quick answer to your question either.

I have an old Mycellium wallet and I never split it off at all as I was using it.   Its not being used now, nothing in there BTC wise so I realise I'm a bit late but presume I can do some of whats described on this thread to get the forked coins and its not a massive risk.

Basically I was never especially rich through any of the forks, this was more a transactional wallet then anything like some hold.   So thats my excuse for not bothering earlier but with this recent rise in BTC maybe I should at least have the fork coins held separately properly.    Transaction fees, rise in volume is usually a positive for alts at some points

I think your only chance for most is to import the private key into the relevant wallets like Bitpie and wait for someone to start mining them again. It could be a wait.

There'll be stuff like Bitcoin Gold and Bitcore and a few others that are alive. The majority are goners but they were born dead anyway.

I admire the doggedness of maintaining this thread. Last time I checked the shitforks I had on the Bitpie wallet every single one was immovable, presumably all dead chains. Many were never possible to move into any exchange in the first place.

I wonder how many people made bank and whether any will come back to life.

Even though all forks keep dropping almost continuously (don't believe the prices in the OP anymore!), a bump Smiley

I was about to suggest https://dig.walleting.services/ which I came across a while ago, however their SST cert expired on the 4th of May (they list eighteen BitCoin derived coins they can extract)

Unfortunately almost all forks are worth so low now that they are not even worth the work and risk claiming them(unless you have high amounts of BTC)... I recovered only a few of them..

When claiming forks the most important is doing it fast, in the first weeks. As Lauda mentioned earlier in this thread, it was possible to earn like 400 USD per BTC just with bcx. Now it is barely worth 10 usd.

forks are very important in a investor perspective, as you can easily increase 10-20% your BTC holdings every year with them, if you act fast enough.

I miss more discussion related to them in this forum.

Help me update this list
Please help me to keep this thread (and the table above) up-to-date: If a legit wallet and exchange are available for an unlisted fork, please post it and I'll add it to the list.
I'll only list Forkcoins with at least a working wallet.

Do you have other avenues for disposing of what was listed on there like Bitcoinpay and a few others?
I've been regretting not selling all of my Forkcoins for quite a while now, but unfortunately I don't know other routes to sell those crap coins.

Has anybody claimed Bitcoin Diamond?
Am I right in saying Binance are offering 0.002556 per Bitcoin Diamond?
I think Binance doesn't accept deposits, so they're living their own bubble. 0.00037 Bitcoin per BCD at Gate.io is a more realistic value.

Am I right in saying Binance are offering 0.002556 per Bitcoin Diamond? You get 10 BCD per Bitcoin so if person X had 50 bitcoin's at the time of the fork that’d equate to 500 BCD which would be 1.278 bitcoin’s on Binance’s platform?

@LoyceV- I didn't bother reading the thread but I'll certainly need your help to get rid off my shit-coin forks.I don't have the patience to do all wallet install procedures myself so I'll ask you to do it for me of course for a commission.
I can, if they're not SegWit. But keep in mind the prices in the OP are long gone, it's much, much lower now.

@allahabadi: have you tried depositing those Forkcoins?
I have been trying to get rid off my shit-forks for a long time now and  even though most of the coins are listed on a few exchanges but there is no way we can dump those coins as the exchanges aren't accepting deposits. [Bitcoin God isn't accepted either]

I don't know how so many people missed BitcoinX (BCX). You should definitely add it to the list: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoinx/. The ratio is 10 000:1, which makes the price an effective $135 per Bitcoin owned right now. The people who managed to *redeem* and sell this early on managed to score $350-400 per Bitcoin. It was also rather trivial to do if you have a place to sync their Core fork.
Unfortunately, I don't have enough VM-space to sync their blockchain, so I can't test it.
As a temporary, one time work around: You could collect keys that need to be used. Import all of them. Sync a pruned BitcoinX node. Obviously, this is very inefficient but in certain cases it will work out (e.g. if you only want to dump your own BitcoinX).

Well, I made some space to sync a BitcoinX wallet. And the result was disappointing: most exchanges have the deposit of BCX "Suspended", I've found only one place I can sell - aex - but the price is unreasonably low there.
Maybe this'll help anybody waste time and space Smiley

Can't you just use the private keys and claim them? I see both of them have working wallets.
I also need a reliable exchange to deposit them to.

I may be missing something, but what do you mean by "to be able to deposit to add them to my list" and how is this impacted by the trading volumes?
Usually the trading volume is quite low when exchanges don't accept deposits. If it can't be withdrawn, it's like they're only trading their own "local coin".

Receiving them on an exchange isn't enough to add them here. I need to be able to deposit to add them to my list. Bitcoin Atom has $6,122 trading volume (24h), so I don't think it can be deposited.
SmartCash as $101,420 trading volume, but nothing at Yobit.

Can't you just use the private keys and claim them? I see both of them have working wallets.
