You are mining successfully! Smiley Note that the UniMining site says:

Payouts are made automatically every 2 hours for all balances above 0.01, or 0.001 on Sunday.
For some coins, there is an initial delay before the first payout, please wait at least 6 hours before asking for support.

So you need to mine 0.01 Lux before that mining pool will make a deposit to your address.

As with most cryptocurrencies, the amount in your address is determined by the distributed blockchain. Your wallet software is simply querying that blockchain. You don't need to run the wallet in order for the mining pool site to make a deposit. You would use the wallet either for staking or for spending the coins. You should encrypt the wallet. Check the menus (at the bottom).

I'm not sure about your last question with the errors. There you seem to be mining to a different pool, xmr.suprnova.cc.

I'm trying to make a backup of my wallet but the desktop application is so laggy that I can't even make a propper backup. When is the new wallet coming? The current one became absolutely useless Sad

hi
today i've decided to mine some lux.. 1st time miner and totally noob Cheesy
what i did was downloading lux-qt-windows , launched the wallet , clicked "recieve"copy the address.
then downloaded ccminer , created a .bat file containing this line:

ccminer-x64 -a phi -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:8333 -u "coppied wallet address" -p c=LUX --cpu-priority=3
Regarding the part I bolded, do you have your actual address there? It needs to be there. And I don't think quotes are needed around it.

Since you are mining at unimining.net, you can check the progress here (enter your address):

https://www.unimining.net/?address=

Good luck!

You are good, green "Yes" in your miner means that pool accepting your shares in building block.

If you have any questions u r free to ask it in discord https://discord.gg/X43CA3f as well

It was mentioned multiple times by all channels that only exchange where Luxcoin currently trading is Cryptopia
So be extremely attentive with what you buying and where guys.

I think you should ask arnoganix in order to highlight the warning about exchanges in the OP of the ANN. Should consider carefully about this one, please.
Thanks for suggestion  Wink

What problems with the Lux-wallet on Cryptopia? Huh

I held some LUXcoin quite some time ago but gave up on it. Yobit wasn't moving their ass and I thought it' just  dead. Happy to check in and once realize that it's still alive!

The coin you held was probably Bitlux. These are two different coins and LUX is not on Yobit.

Holy fuck. Man.... I was believing that this is the LUX from Bitlux. MY god why do you pick a short name that has a damn bad history?

Yes it was a mistake on my end of course. I simply didn't pay attention. However, it wasn't a costly mistake because I didn't buy into the wrong coin, I was just thinking about my holdings from back then while referring to the wrong coin... But you are right, anyone should pay attention!

My LUX wallet doesn't response 80% of time launching. It freezes periodically. What can I do. And nodes in lux.conf doesn't help.

Hey guys I'm a bit new to Lux. I've been staking for a few days and have gotten 3 coins so far and my computer froze and needed to be restarted. When I did that, the 3 staked coins changed in value to .6 Lux each.  Any idea why that happened?
Cause is 40% of reward (0.4 lux) goes to all masternodes that currently running and 60% (0.6 lux) goes to you.
Oh ok, so it'll always show up that way at first then go down? Out of curiosity, why don't they just say .6 from the start? That was a bit deceiving/confusing.

Will the proportional rewards constant over time or it will change at different phase, Dev?
Its already changed with block reward halving https://twitter.com/LUX_COIN/status/941011868340178949. It was 1.2 to POS and 0.8 to MNs till that.
And yes, not developer, community manager  Wink
Current wallet can't synhronized from new start. So PoS doesn't work.
Add this nodes to lux.conf in path %appdata%/Lux
