Bitcoin is not a currency or asset. Its a MOVEMENT
is there any minimum coin number for staking for luxcoin staking to work?

Is there any staking calculator?
No minimum required but should be considered that chances to hit a stake with amount lower than 100 coins is quite low and mostly depends of luck.
Anyway current staking estimates is about stake per day with 2500 LUX in wallet, so do further math for your coin amount.

The only POS calculator that Im aware of is that one https://luxposcalculator.com, but still should be using carefully cause that is community built one.

Ok so that means if I stake 2500, I will get 0.6 Lux each day.

Any chance of reducing MN collateral amount, or any reliable shared master node service available?

Sorry for inconvenience but Lux team have nothing to do with Crytopia's team, if they put the coin under maintenance so that was for sure a necessary step that we cant dispute. We can only take it and offer our help if they'r asking for. In other words, we are at same position as everyone else - waiting with patience end of their maintenance  Wink

Meanwhile you can use Cryptobridge for Lux's trading https://wallet.crypto-bridge.org/market/BRIDGE.LUX_BRIDGE.BTC
Yeap, agree with you, lupanar.
Cryptopia support is too bad, but this one is their technical issues.
We all have nothing to to now, only can wait for their next movements, such as reenabling trading for LUXcoin.

What's going on with Cryptopia LUX wallet? It's under maintenance for 4 days already. It kills the incentive to mine the coin, I think it has negative impact on coin reputation in general. Maybe the devs can step in and help Cryptopia people sort it all out?

And there are no any other LUX exchanges that I know of with decent trade volume.

Just opened my windows wallet after ~1 month of not logging in to this os. And guess what? It's not working. At first launch, there was a message about system time, and it froze without any disk/cpu/network activity. On other launches, it just closes shortly after splash screen.

I'm NOT asking how to fix it, I'll figure it out. All I can ask is who code things like that? Why your wallet became a pumpkin after 1 month, freezing instead of at least saying with MessageBox that I need to update it with the download link?
This makes me anticipate the quality of the rest of your code: cut, paste, use duct tape to make it work.

P.s. downloaded fresh wallet. The license agreement was shown on the second monitor. When I accepted, the wallet opened on the first monitor. Can you please explain me the logic behind this design decision?

P.s. and it still froze without activity. Again do I need to clean the data folder. Cheezyz, my bachelor qualification work was more stable than this, and it was a lot of garbage code on C#...
Even you not asking for help, I'll advise you anyway because thats my job. If you have any issues with latest wallet, eventhrough it was and still quite stable according to team experience and community reports, you need to follow qt reset instruction that can be found in that LUX-QT guide https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/388703503973089301/492769042327928832/LUX_QT_v5_upgrade_and_reset_guide_for_Win_MAC.pdf, page #11.
If you'll still get any issues after - advise to send all your coins from current wallet.dat to new one, say at other PC.
Regarding your multi monitor issue, if you really uncomfortable with license agreement on second monitor displaying, advise you to use only single monitor with qt wallet... Or just import your private keys into web wallet.

I think Luxcoin is way undervalued now and the price should sky rocket with smart contracts and luxgate introduction, also now that there's a AMD miner I've been mining Lux and using the awesome pos webwallet which is a first of it's kind with some nice features included I can't wait to see where this project goes

And why the payment is not in the Crypto currency?
But you can pay in cryptocurrencies - via Coinpayments https://www.coinpayments.net
Here is available payment options

Note regarding payments in Lux: as we have mentioned in the past, we are working on our own payment processor, until that is rolled out, the value of adding lux through a 3rd party payment option (like Coinpayments) is beside the purpose.
