can somebody tell me where to find the latest version 5 wallet, the one i found on github was version 4 .exe downloadable which i did, but again since the network was down it has been showing me out of sync message and no progress. About the bat file and config found few articles, but wanted to know if somebody is using rx 580 asus strix OC edition whats the output they are getting per card.

The 5.0 wallet has not be officially released yet and I believe is still being fixed prior to release. Stay tuned though.

i just came across this thread... came across the coin while searching for different cryptos on POW. thought of giving it a try with my AMD rx 5 series, and after spending few hours found that there is some issue with the LUX coin network.

In the mean time, can somebody tell me where to find the latest version 5 wallet, the one i found on github was version 4 .exe downloadable which i did, but again since the network was down it has been showing me out of sync message and no progress. About the bat file and config found few articles, but wanted to know if somebody is using rx 580 asus strix OC edition whats the output they are getting per card.

I have modded my gpu bios currently mining ETH, underclocked and low power consumption and giving 27. Mh/s...  the same settings shall be same for LUX coin as well, or needs to be tweaked from either bios or overnet tool?

The current situation in LUX was predictable. The technical team did not manage to create a stable version of the wallet. The management of the team was not able to list on a decent exchange, but got into partners that was stealing from customers and having small volumes of Cryptophia. Now the fork problem. Without solving all three problems, moving forward is impossible.

I want to wish the team luck during this hard-fork.

I know we've hit some unforseen issues, and that some people are upset about the chain freeze, but It has to happen. At this stage in LUX's development is the RIGHT time to make this change.

After people build enterprise Dapps on the LUXcore chain we won't have the opportunity to pause the chain.

Anyway, TLDR: I know this update has some people on edge, but the LUX team is beastly, and I know they can get through it and successfully deploy all of the features in the Mercury V5 release.

Stay strong!

is there an updated wallet for new chain?

Currently no, but stay tuned. They mentioned last night they are testing and it is expected to take 48 hours, so likely after that we will have more updates or hopefully a timeline for a new wallet.

Everybody is working around the clock to ensure everything goes smooth.
We do know that this delay is frustrating and we want things settled as much as you do.

We will keep you guys posted, we don't want to give time-frames and put pressure on the dev team - we want to deliver good and working features.
Thanks for the continued support.

- LUXCORE Team.
Thank you for the update.Hope we can mine again ASAP

please dont forget amd miner, that would be smooth too
I think the same.

However, as this is coming as a new coin (new algo, new coin), i prefer to wait a little than to start using it with crashes constantly appearing. The result of luxcore wallet in its earliers versions, shows us that its better to be patient.

Thoose who learn from they faults (buggy wallets) are the ones who can succeed. So if they need time to make this fork and new wallet working well, then that is what we should give them Smiley
Probably good opportunities for traders though, as the delay can cause doubt. But i am terrible at trades so just holding Tongue
