YACoin price on the rise...  You can still buy and sell on BTER, but you just can't deposit or withdraw YAC.

Told ya bter was going to be a mess. I wish I could scalp me some more YAC.

I just know that YPGNWtN4gHFDQUvU9eC8Xzss5JCyT1ozmv is BTER hot wallet.

YKMwM5jeTYp42YmiQ65dMCqJJavv6UpiHa is not Cryptsy hot wallet, maybe it is cold one.
But YKMwM5jeTYp42YmiQ65dMCqJJavv6UpiHa was receiving coins in two stages, first in 2014, and second after pause in 2015.
It had become with price 0.025 USD per YAC. It is likely to a bear trick.

Any working block explorer with API?

http://explore.grokonet.com/ is back up again

Is it possible that the “Cryptsy goxing” is a bear trick? Someone has got biggest Yacoin wallet. Maybe Criptsy, Yandex or BTC-E has got it. Probably owner had been relating to someone of developers.

That largest address is not staking, and it stopped receiving coins in October. It likely belongs to one of the exchanges (Cryptsy or BTER)

Send request to Yobit.net. Wait.....

Sent. Wait...?

What happens if it is on no exchange, how do people buy/sell then?

Here's one way:  I'll buy up to a million YAC at 0.000 000 8 BTC/YAC, which I think is a hair higher than Craptsy was trading at toward the end.

I'll go nuke Craptsy off the first info post of this thread.

Is there anyone willing to ask Bter.com to fix the YAC deposit problem? I think currently Bter.com is reliable for they are running the service for a long time after the previous attack.

I have, their response has not been very helpful

Kind of makes YAC vulnerable to a pump and dump if nobody can deposit to sell.

BTC38:
"Thanks a lot for your suggestion. We'll forward it to the relevant department so they can look through it."

Thank you so much, Etern4l.

I believe the best path to sway BTER is with a new wallet release and then let them know 'fixes' have been implemented. In reality, the wallet now is fine and the network was simply attacked. I'm sure it caused issues for them, so they will need more convincing than just assurance that the network is now secure (and has been for months).
Yep you were right they closed my ticket with the following message:
"The yac wallet doesn't work well still
Please kindly keep an eye on the YAC deposit page for the update
Thanks for your patience."

Gentleman,

Now is the end of the bear market. Really there is couple of months for any actions with Yacoin.
So I repeat my question: “Has anyone talked with owners of BTC-E about Yacoin?”

And situation continue...

Wallet works just ok but why bter can not get it work is unknown or is it real reason.
Specially now after "Cryptsy" fraud it is nice if bter try stay in operation.
If bter think YAC exchange is low - yes it is now extremely low because deposits are disabled.
Fun is still that there can buy and sell YAC and same time they tell YAC wallet do not work and you can not feed in more YAC (deposit closed)

BTC 38 is pretty decent option too and  judging by my experience with them they have one of the best supports. Plus they had pretty every scrypt chacha coin at one point.

I have tried contacting BTC38 in the past without any luck. If anyone gets a response, please post it in here!

The best answer is a YAC-only exchange. Again, I think shapeshift.io is possible with enough inquiries. I wonder if BTER stopped allowing deposits when the YAC network was having its issues. It might be good to assure them it is back to normal...

How do we know what largest holdings of YAC are? Is there some sort of rich list?

You can use Top1000 at Groko's YACoin Explorer.

There are also useful information about the volume, inflation and money supply.

Hi folks,
What is the problem with BTER and deposits?
How do we know what largest holdings of YAC are? Is there some sort of rich list?

What is future for this coin - how do we get it onto another exchange? What happens if it is on no exchange, how do people buy/sell then?

Cheers,

Roister...
