Congrats bro ;-)

Save 5% if we purchase using bitcoin? Like KNC do? lol

still a little steep.. perhaps a month ago sure, but now I'd rather get a cheap merc to just move a few misfit boards I have and change the 5 board jupiters I have into 4 boards and overclock them higher (right now, 211 OC on 5 good boards = 806Gh ~970w at the wall and I only have 1000w PSUs... and my other 5 boards have two misfit boards.. an 8vrm board and another with a dead die..)

So rather throw those two boards in a merc and then overclock 4 good boards perhaps more than 211 on that jupiter

maybe after next diff the mercs start selling more

That's some going. Which boards were they if you don't mind me asking? I didn't think they would go anywhere near that or I'd have given it a go myself.

Oct boards. All 4vrm except one 8vrm which makes it interesting (I only do 1F1 on the 8VRM board)

Not counting the controller board & fans these are less than 1w per Gh. (see pic)  But at the wall the 806Gh is 970watts
Also I only OC 201 on the other one since HW errors pop up near 4% if 211..(so a dead die, 8VRM at 1F1, and rest 201 makes for lower Gh and watts)

cyper, he already won the auction, UNLESS of course you don't believe him.

I have thought about the same, but looks like last merc. sold for too much, so still looking.

sbfree:  Cyper doesn't care about trying to win the auction.  He's trying to complete a price discovery on a controller board.

Correct.

Re: "lost 51 BTC and brother 18" ... lets try and track the fraudsters and see where it leads... May be they bought antminers.. sushi can send the miners/btc back to you?

Anyways, I like everything you have said (watched you on the KNC thread for a year) and your enthusiasm!

P.S. #FRAUD mafia of central bankers colluding with corrupt  politicians and corporate lobbying shills are going down!!!11!!1 Smiley

Thanks for the moral support Hatti.
I'm offering a 50% Bounty commission for the successful aid in my btc recovery
also...  While my brother was on the chat having the plug pulled, I was saving & snipping before everything disappeared. I saved every page of the website, and a copy of my transaction invoice pages, and zipped them up into a nice little folder, and have posted it on dropbox to aid in investigation. heres the link:

most other info can be found in the other thread, where it needs to stay, I did not mean for this to take any space in here.
the thread is here:

did you save that op post here on bitcointalk.org?  the op can delete his/her own post here..

A little steep unless your goal was to purchase the cheapest chassis and controller in preparation of adding 5 KNC modules to it when they go on sale.
Hmmmmmmmm?

Getting back on topic, this looks like very good news for Knc and the Neptune. TSMC is a month ahead of schedule and has started mass production of 20nm chips.

http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/other/display/20140116220015_TSMC_Begins_Volume_Production_of_Chips_Using_20nm_Process_Technology.html

That is good news. KnC might be able to ship in Q2 if all goes well.

Guys, what do you think is a realistic price on the master controller board with the beaglebone?
A friend of mine bought a miner from phoenix some time ago and Phoenix gave a 2nd controller board for free, which my friend lend out to me to use with my 4 upgrade modules I bought from KNC.

Now he wants to sell it and is offering me to buy it, but because I plan on selling the miner soon I wonder:
should I buy the board from him to keep the miner complete and sell it as it is?
or give it back to him and sell it as Upgrade modules only?

I wonder what a fair price is? It's a very hard to find component, yet is it unknown if anyone actually needs it at the moment.
Is $1000 a realistic price?

I bought a Saturn with no ASICs for $600 on eBay. He had 2 Saturns, and combined them to a Jupiter, so I got the case, controller board and BBB.

Can you link me the auction please. Thank you.

I'll buy all four upgrade modules from you, PM me when ready.

Considering Mercury's are going for $1,500-2,000 on ebay, you could just get one of those and use the mining module. Or sell it.

Thanks for pointing that out to me. I might have to go that route. I dont go to e-bay much, I had not thought of it.

one just went for $2501 Sunday..  a bit steep

Here they transferred your btc somewhere (scroll down a bit) https://blockchain.info/address/1MLTfBmQ42eTSG5vr4JuSqfHeG13NuygDe

<- EDIT: hehe, of course U know that.

It will be hard (impossible?) to track, just like JP Morgan Goldman Sachs HSBC Barclays drug money laundering and all the fraud they do. The lesson here is that fraud is sadly everywhere Sad Big scale fraud is the banker politico cartel though and bitcoin will give freedom to us all.

Fraud is embedded in in some Homo Sapiens (corruptus) genes sub species and that is what we are up against. The bad element has infested all branches of government. Change in society will happen when the judicial branch gets bought and paid for by the special interest groups and we the people understand the fraud and turn off the BB dancingwiththeIDIOTS channel.

Simple. Manufacturers need to stop this pre-order crap that drags on for endless months. End of problem.

Yes! Any company that has product for sale immediately with solid characteristics and with a competent team behind it will swipe away everybody else.
In fact, if even Cointerra was silent through the whole ordeal, but suddenly released Terraminer en masse at 1.6th/s for $10k, they would have sold 10 thousand of them or more. I wonder why nobody else thought of doing this instead of pathetic preorders.

See here for an excellent explanation of preorders from deathandtaxes: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3936006

I think this was posted a few pages back but i can't find it so here it is again

Great. I wish people look at this "pickaxing" strategy (who is guilty of this?-LOL) before whining about what is "fair" or "unfair" as far as individual orders are concerned. I'll give the whole charade a couple of months more to play out. Strangely enough, bitcoin is behaving more stable than some stocks right now.
