Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?

Well.. bounty rewards have fallen to all time lows and there is no logic in participating them anymore. I am someone who used to participate in a large number of bounties, right from 2017. Back then, the rewards were really good and on average it ranged from $100 to $1,000 for a signature campaign and $10 to $100 for social media campaigns. The current rates are less than 1/10th of this amount, and many of the bounty hunters consider themselves lucky if they get paid at all.

As far as I know, most crypto project admins say that for them the output of their token or coin on the exchanges is not the main thing, their product is the main thing. I believe that they are wrong. There is no guarantee that they will generally bring their product to mind and whether it will be in demand. But the cryptocurrency of the project is also considered products, but why then do they refuse to promote it? All this looks like a regular trick.

With many ICO project not reached soft and hard cap I am joining with bounty campaign have short time period, I think is best solution how to keep not waste time with scam ICO, I think best way how to get much profit with bounty campaign have short term for running and we can know which one have to stop for joining bounty campaign promotion.
This is also a good options to choose short running bounty so this way we will learn early if the project would be successful. Since mostly project failed and scam investors and also bounty hunters get nothing of their hard work and effort. Giving up is not a solution, there is still good to join but better we should thoroughly assess the most project which we can receive benefits all.

In my opinion, giving up the bonus is a pity. there are many other projects that are still operating good bonuses that are still active.

Simply because there are still projects which are succeeding and that is an enough reason for bounty hunters to still continue promoting projects at this moment and since bounty hunters are just investing their time and hardwork without needing to invest an amount of money, but are still having chances to earn profit. It is just a matter of patience with regards to the market behavior right now. Wait for recovery to occur and expect for sone positivity eventually.
the biggest question is how long do we have to wait for everything to recover ??
are we now just going to sit back and wait without anything else we have to do to get income.

In fact I think there isn't reason to promote new projects. For me it doesn't worth to promote a project for months without guarantees of real profit in the end. Makes no sense to promote tons and ton of projects launching crypto currencies that do the exactly same thing, have the same functions and dump forever after a tiny initial lifespan.
There might be exceptions, but they are too few that if they use this same bounty promotion model (that is already too defamed), the chances of success greatly decrease.
I think crypto currency developers should improve their projects: should improve the features of their currencies before launching, should improve the bounty campaigns to not deceive promoters anymore, paying decently, not after months or even years anymore.
Then I would consider it's a good reason to promote these projects.

That's true, even if we encounter a lot of scam projects or a project producing shitcoins, there are still some projects that succeed in entering a good exchange and becoming a good altcoin.
Even if bounty hunters are just investing their time and effort, we can't still remove the fact that most of the time, their hardwork will put to waste due to those kinds of projects in exchange of earning like once in a blue moon.
It is true that we only have to be patient and be wise especially when choosing a project to become part with.

Yes, they are true that many and the majority of bounty projects are turning out unrewarding lately. These projects don't normally reach exchanges and leaving bounty hunters without getting any rewards from their hard work. But I still do believe that there are very few projects that still perform their promise of giving out stakes and also their crypto reaches exchanges. You just have to be good at looking for those rare projects.

A chance for success.
Haven't you thought about what if they reached the soft cap?
Then, they could continue with their project or they could scam it all the way.
There would be larger profits by doing that or if they are really eager they could continue on whichever they want to achieve.
Mostly scams happen, but if you go further into researching you will find the truth underneath it.

Not all projects are not capable of being listed to an exchange the problem sometimes are that some of this projects, are just trying to scam investors make them
believe that they are legit but at the moment they have the money , they will disappear thus, this will result for other investor not to trust new and legit projects
and never see's and reach its goal, so for this you just have to focus and check whether the bounty or campaign you are in is really the real deal , or just a bust,

Because the hope is still alive, smart people that are promoting projects do not care about short term profit and hope that within several years, those tokens would increase in price and not fall below the sale price by 10 times.
It's too impossible to have more hope on these projects nowadays because the trendy scams everywhere is unstoppable. It doesn't matter if they end up in a good exchanges because the price of that project will eventually plummet because people starts to dump everything.

Because giving up is not an option, there are still many cryptocurrency project that has potential but because of people stigma that new projects must be a scam so the new potential projects is hard to develop, we should delete that stigma so the real project that really develop a product can growing fast and make a better future for crypto.
stigma occurs because of things that happen repeatedly, we shouldn't be like this. but I think the only thing that can help the current condition is the market price movement, if the market price can improve, the confidence in crypto and also investment in new projects can improve again.

It is just a matter of making sure till the very end. What is supposed to do is that bold start, what I mean is that a project that goes all in the beginning might be able to finished it till the end. Besides there are tons of projects out there making it in the market, however there are failures the difference is the other first one is tight and strong from promotions and to money circulation as well.

but most of the projects are failures, even some of my friends have retired to become bounty hunters, because it is already difficult to produce, even if you insist on staying. it's like gambling, sometimes if you are lucky, you can get money even though not much. even some new IEO projects don't look good either.
I agree with you, so when you join the bounty your chance to get money is 50% and one day if the project being promoted fails or scams it must accept the consequences. I stopped looking for the bounty when middle of 2018 and after that i tried again
the best option for now is, you join the pay directly with bitcoin or other coins that can instantly turn into money. if you get paid token, sometimes it's hard to convert into money.
or better leave bounty hunters, looking for other things that are clearer in yielding. I would also like it if there were no more bounties to pay directly.

hope there are still projects that are able to give different ideas and are able to grow in competition with other successful crypto projects. Why keep promoting? yes, I still hunt in the hope that there will still be a good payment from my work on the campaign. I personally still choose the crypto project that I think has a future. at least last 2-3 years.

As a bounty hunter you have to look at the big picture, if a project have good partnership and good teams they can start their early project life on so called small exchange and later take steps to bigger ones, i think what should be every bounty hunter's first priority is the project itself
