But if not for that big foot of KD, they wouldn't be in the finals.

I still remember that last shot where the game went thru OT, if it's not that big foot everything is not be in place right now for the Bucks.

Quote
But in any case, Giannis put one hell of a stellar performance in game 6 and throughout this series. Just a question on how many championship they are going to have with Giannis almost getting into his prime years.

No question about that, Giannis throughout this finals really put everything to carry his team, even they've lost the first 2 games he made it sure that his presence are really there for his team.

Though the help from Middleton and Holiday really lift them up, it's still Giannis who complete everything and win the title.

Regarding to how many titles? too early for that, let us give them some good time to enjoy this moment.

Question:   2021 NBA Champion?
Milwaukee Bucks - 10 (40%)
Phoenix Suns - 15 (60%)
Total Voters: 25

I see some people voted after Bucks sealed the championship. Grin I should've locked it before the game.
Yes. The last time I checked it was not like that. I think it was 15-5 in favor of the Phoenix Suns.  Grin
Next stop, NBA Draft Pick. Who of those youngsters are you eyeing for to be the next Giannis Antetokounmpo who could achieve a championship at an early age.

Cade Cunningham - 6'8 Almost a complete package.
Evan Mobley - 7'0 - Who needs a center?  Grin
Jalen Green 6'5 - Ballhandler/Playmaker
Or maybe one of these guys.

Twenty players have received invitations to attend the 2021 NBA draft and sit in the green room, sources told ESPN.

Suns fans, it's okay guys, there's still next season, the Suns reach this far but Bucks were the better team. they should keep the roster intact, maybe add some upgrade and hopefully next season they'll be able to compete in the NBA Finals again.

Congratulations to the Bucks, they deserved the win, Giannis was at his best in the NBA finals, he really want to win and prove other people that still has doubt on him, he is not a choker, he is a real star now.

Right, I think losing against Toronto 2019 and then Miami 2020 really made Bucks more resilient this year. Specially facing the same adversity against the highly touted Nets 0-2 and then win the next 4. But if not for that big foot of KD, they wouldn't be in the finals.

Congratulations to Milwaukee Bucks and to Giannis for the MVP and the one night stand and lifetime responsibility from Kendall Jenner. That was an intense match and you can see Giannis doing his best.

I wasn't certain that they will manage to win the title this season. Especially after Giannis get injured. They prove that it can be done and they will all contribute accordingly.
Giannis dominates on both sides of the court, Phoenix can't do anything. He shows incredible concentration and has been focused the entire game and when the time was right, he boosts and it was sure that Bucks will get the ring. Congratulations to Bucks, the whole franchise that support their project, and ofc the whole team.
As for the "Greek Freak", everybody said what everybody knows. He is on another level. Big respect for keeping the faith and get his first championship with the town/ team that embraces him and believes in him. Σ'ευχαριστoύμε Γιάνναρε, πάντα Πρωταθλητής!!! Cool

NBA Finals are over, Bucks became the new champion after 6 game series. They did a great comeback after 0-2 loss and won 4 in a row. Giannis Antetokounmpo played an extraordinary game and scored 50 points. Don't forget the contribution of Bobby Portis too. Smiley Coach Mike Budenholzer got his first championship as well. Congratulations to whole Bucks organisation and city of Milwaukee.
What a spectacular series for Suns and Bucks. Both of the teams did well, props to the Suns. We thought that they're going to sweep the finals but Bucks did a great comeback and they did the sweep after those first two losses that they got.

Lol
I guess the votes in favour of the Suns rose when they're up 2-0.
To be honest, I also feel the same after seeing the Bucks struggling to win early in the series, but Giannis and the Bucks became a different monster when they head back home and swept the Suns with 4 straight wins after 2 consecutive losses at the start.

Giannis is indeed extraordinary in the Finals series. I think he just dethroned LeBron as the King of the NBA after his stellar performance.

Congratulations to the Bucks, this is it! Giannis deserves the ring. A family that got rings in the NBA, well, they're truly a blessed family that they've ended up having this ring. And for the management of Bucks, they're really happy that after so many years, a long long year without any championship. They've got it already and they also deserve it. We'll go now to the next season.

In the end, Giannis was just too much to handle.  Was funny hearing him talk about his brother winning a ring with the Lakers last year and it being awkward at the dinner table.  Amazing that he had such skill that he literally carried his brothers with him from poverty to the NBA and got them both championship rings.  His story has got to be one of the best ones in the NBA and this championship is well deserved for him.  When all is said and done for him, they're going to make one hell of a documentary about his life.
I still remember their last playoff journey where the Bucks got defeated by the Heat in 6 games. There are many speculations that they will be trading Giannis because of what happen but in the end, he choses to stay get some players and build a team. They thought that he will not get a title in the Bucks shirt (including me) because of lack of all-star in his side and now he broke that. Now he and the Bucks team got the first title in 50 years.

I agree with what you said that Giannis is too much to handle and we already saw this all throughout the series. How can you battle on rebounds where you got Giannis, Lopez and Portis on the front court? The Suns doesn't have any reliable big aside from Ayton only and when he is in foul trouble, its a party party for the Bucks inside.

Commend to the other players of the Bucks who stepped up when it needed especially Middleton and Holiday and lets include how Portis lights up the crowd when he is inside the court and because of that he is the crowd favorite Cheesy. On the other hand, when I saw in a post on Facebook that Scott Foster will manage Game 6 I said "this is over". The nemesis of CP3 still continues as he is 0-13 when Scott Foster is one of the referees Cheesy.

A well deserved title for the Bucks and this just shows that you don't need 2-3 all-star players in order to win the title. What you only need is a good leader, a good supporting cast and a bunch of big players Cheesy. JK

It looks like Paul missed the last opportunity to win the first ring in his career. Also, I don't know what happened with Booker, but he had 0 out of 7 from the three-point line and six turnovers in such an important match. Anyway, Giannis was unstoppable during all games, and he definitely deserves to be called MVP of the final series. Congrats to the Bucks with the second title!

Giannis was really unguardable in this series, Jae, although a very good defender, was sort of a mismatch to him. And then he abuse both him and Ayton inside.

Hearing lots of stories on Giannis, how him sending all the money back to his family in Greece when he was a rookie and with no sweater and transportation going back. Until one fan recognized him. What a wonderful person and then calling his brother to tell him that he won the title. So yeah, he deserved all the accolades his getting. Better luck next time for the Suns, for sure they will learn from this hard lost.

He is. Ayton got a lot of a hard time stopping him and so is Jae Crowder.
It just puts them in foul trouble if they try to challenge every shot he will make under the rim.
The Suns need more forwards in their team. The big ones. They cannot go small ball with just Ayton in the center.
Saric could have been a lot of help if only he was not injured. A shooter that could spread the floor with a height that could somehow stop the bleeding that Giannis made.

Well, congratulations to the Bucks and the fans. Nicely done.

Still rooting for the Bucks in 6
And I'm just right on what the outcome would be. Well, they are the set of brother now to win an NBA title at same time with the same team, that's a history to be engraved.

Well, Giannis deserve that Finals MVP. He joins with Jordan and Olajuwon with the only NBA players having MVP for regular season, a DPOY, and a Finals MVP. That's for sure a GOAT in the present.

Yeah, at least for those young NBA fans, this could really be history in the making. Damn, 50 point game performance in a close out game, that's one of the history books. Last year there where news that Giannis might leave the Bucks after this season. But I doubt that it will going to happen.

The addition of Jrue Holiday was really a big decision for them, trading players and giving up draft picks. But it's a gamble that they have won, because they clinch another title after 50 years. For sure, they wanted the team to be intact next year, and hopefully stay healthy and defend the title.

Definitely too much Giannis for the suns, the killer instinct that is missing according to some analyst that is missing finally came out of Giannis, Ayton could not stop him, and the suns fierceness disappear in game 6, congratulations to the bucks and the players, they deserve the title, what they have overcome to reach the finals is worth it.

Giannis. He is a monster. That's all I could say.
Congratulations also to the Phoenix Suns. Monty Williams, CP3, Ayton, and Booker proved a lot of things now. They just need one more push and they might take the title next year. Who knows.

What a game from this Man! he really carried the team and make sure to finished it today!

Nothing to say as we all witness the whole series both teams are eager but only one will win the NBA Titles, congrats to Suns reaching the finals, Bucks win this and let their home fans to rejoice it with them. Giannis performance today sealed the win another trophy added to his personal carrier, Finals MVP and the franchise take the crown after 50 years!

I was going to read this thread until I saw 68.2% votes think suns will win.
You're right, never trust the majority, never! Always DYOR!  Grin
Anyway, Chris Paul and his teammates are forced to do a miracle at the Fiserv Forum and then play for glory in game 7. The odds, however, will be all on the side of the Bucks who'll do everything they can to close the books in game 6.
In short, my view is that there seem to be all the conditions for the NBA Finals to end tonight with a victory for the Milwaukee Bucks. It will in any case be a very close match like the last two, with less than 220 points overall and always only 10pts margin between the two teams.
Great win for Bucks and great win for me too! Couldn't be happier for both these results!
Many thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo who's the 1st player in the whole NBA history with more than 40 points, more than 10 rebounds and more than 5 blocks in a Finals game!
Now we need to find other competitions for betting.......
