Borussia Dortmund's main focus is to make a profit from selling their star players, in other words they are more concerned with business, they do not prioritize the title. I firmly believe that if they were a little more serious in pursuing the championship then they would be able to do it, considering the many star players they have produced. But they prefer to sell them, not caring about the development of their team.
If they continue to do this, then I'm sure they won't be able to win a title. I understand that in football business is also very important, but they should be able to make everything balanced, yes they can pursue the championship and also develop their business for profit, but they don't do that.
Borussia Dortmund which won their last title in 2011-12 after this their business model change, and they started sell their big players for the big profit, and they had never been able to have any success even they are having recorded in Bundesliga for ending on second spot where they ended 11 times and now situation is going to be terrible for them because currently they are at the fourth spot and their rivalry is going with RB Leipzig which is having fifth spot.

But, their difference is just 1 point and things can take change in any game which can bring them to the fifth spot with their performance is also never been ideal in this season while they are having just 12 wins from their 24 games two weeks ago home defeat against Hoffenheim were also big setback hopefully they will improve their performance and will be able to have better spot in coming weeks.

This season everything is going normally for Leverkusen, they are fairly smooth in going through this season without losing once. 10 points is the gap between them and second-placed Bayern Munich now, with a gap like that I can say it's a comfortable distance for Leverkusen. But they should not be too complacent with their current points gap, because if they are too complacent then it will make them unfocused in the match, and when they are not focused then maybe they will receive their first defeat this season.
Xabi must continue to warn his players that their work is not done before they can seal the title. Therefore, Xabi must be strict with the players in the squad. Now I see Xabi is so respected by the players, even though he is still a new coach, but he managed to apply high discipline, that's what I think is one of the things that makes his players have high respect for Xabi Alonso. And indeed as a coach must have that authority.

Leverkusen is leading at the top of the league with many points ahead of the other teams; Bayern Munich is even in second place in the league, but Leverkusen is leading them with 10 points that are difficult to get; 10 points ahead of Bayern Munich is a sure opportunity that Leverkusen is winning the league title. I repeat: nothing is stopping Leverkusen from winning this season's Bundesliga title. Leverkusen is winning the Bundesliga title this season. If you were to say Bayern Munich hasn't lost many opportunities, I would say Leverkusen can't win it, but Bayern Munich has lost the opportunity and allowed Leverkusen to be ahead of them with many points. Leverkusen hasn't lost any games this season, not even in the Europa League.

Xabi Alonso achievement is historic as he is going to win his first title as coach just after having this job 18 months back which is never been easy for any coach and with the team which is also having not big name all players are giving their best, and they are going to win Bundesliga with undefeated season amazing stuff from the all Bayer Leverkusen unit which is now having 10 points lead with just 10 matches remaining and things are completely under their control.

Bayern Munich which was having strong hold on Bundesliga are in serious trouble as they are not near their best with their performance is not good as they have quality in last few years in last few matches they are suffering, but things could be in future as we know how they are settled their problems but still we are surely going to have best of Bayer Leverkusen which is securing one title and now heading for the second big Europa League which is also not far away from them.

So far we know Dortmund as one of the big teams in the Bundesliga and even every season they can be in the top 4 although for us to expect Dortmund to become champions is impossible, season to season we can see how Dortmund's performance continues to stagnate in the league without any decline or improvement and that is due to their habit of often selling their star players,  In terms of creating star players, of course, we cannot doubt how Dortmund have done it all along.

Players like Lewandowski, Sancho, Bellingham and Haaland can be a testament to the ability of their talent scatter who continue to find young talents to develop into star players, if we talk about the number of star players they have managed to orbit, of course there are countless and I think if Dortmund can keep these players in the squad then you could say Dortmund will be a great team and not impossible for They can compete for the Champions League trophy, especially in the Bundesliga, of course, they will easily be able to get rid of Munich, even after Dortmund sold Haalaand and Bellingham, many people predict that Dortmund will be difficult to find the top 4, but in fact, now Dortmund can optimize Fullkrug and Mallen as their spearhead.
Dortmund in previous seasons have been very much active and eager to chase the trophy. Although at the moment the chase isn't off, they've still got every chance in store to prove themselves. They've had scaly strides from the start of the season up till now, they've managed to scale through in the UCL, no one knows their fate in the next round but there's certainty that there's difference in their performances now and then too. They're a good team that just needs to find back their balance, there confidence level has dropped big and corrections needs to be made soon enough too.

There's no time out to let go off winning chances, it'll keep drawing them back. Overtime, they've had good players in the team going off to other clubs and making wave which only notes that they're a team that builds and carves up players to be exceedingly top notch in performance. And it's acceptable that there are still players in the team that currently are capable of keeping the team ahead. This season, there's been a switch in the dominance that occurs in the German league, the professor Xabi is one key threat to Munich who's in time past being the head and leaders of the league. Even though last season, there's been a trail behind from Dortmund, comparing all the years, only Leverkusen have been overtime been able to maintain the difference in standings on the contention battle.

Tuchel knows that a serious tussle lies ahead and as the season draws to an end, there's greater chance to create growth opportunities too. I'll love to see how the end of the season will look like for the German clubs as it's highly expected that unlike Dortmund, Leverkusen would make the big difference. Even though it seems impossible for them to stay at the top three spot this season on the Bundesliga table, they can still make rounding difference in the goal gaps and dominance in games. They've only lost their position, but their intensity and pressurable performance on the pitch is still intact.

With many potential players being sold from Dortmund, such as Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, and Jude Bellingham, who came from the Dortmund team and were sold to several very professional international teams, such as Manchester City, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, At least this shows that Dortmund is known as a team that produces talented players, and its players are currently highly sought after by coaches. With the sales results, as you have said, Dortmund has managed to make a lot of profit. Even though Dortmund has never won the Bundesliga, they still earn large amounts of money from the sales of the players.
I think Borussia Dortmund is good at finding talented players that other top teams want. They have made a lot of money by selling players like Erling, Robert and Jude Bellingham. This shows they are good at helping players grow. Even though their main goal is to win the Bundesliga we shouldn't forget how well they develop players and make money from selling them. This shows that Dortmund is a strong club with a promising future.

I firmly believe that if they were a little more serious in pursuing the championship then they would be able to do it, considering the many star players they have produced. Niko Kovac last season almost bringing Wolfsburg to playing at European competitions but unfortunately in the last match of last season Wolfsburg lost so they have failed to finish at top 7 because their position on league standings was overtaked by Frankfurt and i think this factor makes Wolfsburg owner still hold Niko Kovac as the manager but indeed Kovac have to bringing Wolfsburg to bounce back immediately because if Kovac unable to do that then i am sure his position will be threaten and not impossible he will be sacked before this season ended

Wolfsburg last win happened on December and during 2024 Wolfsburg was never able to gets win results again in Bundesliga and i am not sure Niko Kovac can be considered as good manager for Wolfsburg because during his career Nico Kovac has experienced being sacked several times in the previous teams he handled because before handle Wolfsburg Kovac was sacked from their position as manager of AS Monaco however regarding Wolfsburg upcoming match unfortunately when they required more points to improved their positions on league standings Wolfsburg will fight against Leverkusen and with their condition certainly Wolfsburg will be lost again

I agree with what you wrote. Regarding to the next game against Leverkusen, it would not make much sense to start with a new coach for this game. Because WOlfburg will probably not win this game. Leverkusen are simply too strong. So it could be decided in the next week whether they continue with Nico Kovac or not. The next game after Leverkusen is against Augsburg. If Kovac is still coach for this game he has to win. Otherwise it would definitely be the end for him at WOlfsburg.

I'm actually very happy because I am finally watching some other club giving competition for the Bundesliga title. For quite a long time it was just Bayern Munich and Dortmund. And sometimes it was Leipzig. But this season Leverkusen has been showing a great performance and looks like if something really unexpected does not happen they will take the Bundesliga title. They have created a big difference in terms of points with Bayern Munich, 10 to be exact Smiley

But they will also have to realize that there is still a long time to go in this season.
Only 24 matches have been played.
So there is still a chance for Bayern Munich to make a comeback.
Alonso will have to be careful that the squad does not have or fall into any big injury problems.
When there is a tough competitor for Bayern in the Bundesliga, that's where the Bundesliga becomes interesting.  i'm not a fan of Bayern or other teams in the Bundesliga, but seeing what is happening with Leverkusen makes me interested and curious about whether Bayern will be able to catch up 10 points behind Leverkusen, they are currently really being forced to fight hard to catch up 10 points.  There is still a chance for Bayer to catch Leverkusen because this season there are still a few matches remaining, but that is if Leverkusen is defeated in the future.
Exactly, all of that makes the league more interesting and I want to see changes in the title winners starting this season. What Leverkusen has done has succeeded in surprising everyone, including Bayern Munich themselves, who finally have a worthy competitor. This season it was unexpected that there would be a difference of 10 points and Bayern Munich is increasingly having difficulty reducing this gap. Moreover, losing the previous two consecutive matches made them even further behind.

Now Leverkusen don't need to be afraid of the obstacles that continue to confront them because at the moment they are still unbeaten in all competitions and they must be confident that they can end this season with the title of being an undefeated team for the season. It will be a huge club record in history and also for the Bundesliga they have a new champion that has never existed before.

Dortmund have had a lot of very skilled players in this time period indeed. Haaland for example was a great transfer for them. But they sold him and many such skilled players like him. They have been making a lot of money thanks to this kind of agreements though. But selling so many players such as Haaland, Bellingham and many more is moving them away from a title chance.  Sad

They were actually quite close to achieve a title in the previous season but they wasted a huge chance there as well. Leverkusen are about to make it in only one season with Xabi Alonso after starting to compete for the title.  Smiley

Dortmund seriosuly is club where youngsters flourish before moving elsewhere, i wouldn't blame them to keep any of this sold players because first they don't have that financial capability to keep them like the big spending clubs due to the growing wages. Secondly this players will definitely wants to move even if they try to keep them, most of this players could even go as far running down their contract just to move example is Lewandowski move to bayern, which would make them miss out on huge profits of selling them. So as long as Dortmund aren't that bouyant yet to keep high wage players, the best thing is for them to sell off
I think you are wrong. Some players brought high transfer profits to Dortmund and later returned to the team for free or for very little fee. For example, Sancho. There are many such players, and they easily send young players to the big teams in Europe for high amounts of money. Bellingham is the latest example of this. If Borussia Dortmund wants to pay a high contract, I do not think there will be a financial problem for the club. Only the observer network is very good and they can easily recruit the stars of the future at affordable prices. This is their advantage.

There are still 10 matches left to come and that means there are still 30 points that all clubs in the Bundesliga can still fight for, even Bayern Munich also still has that opportunity, but the only question is whether Leverkusen will just waste this opportunity to continue to maintain its position?
Of course not, because the difference of 10 points is a very big difference and means that Bayern Munich must at least be able to achieve 4 consecutive wins in the next match and it is impossible for Leverkusen to continue to lose the next 4 matches because Xabi Alonso will definitely rotate the players so that no injury problems.
From this statement we can conclude that Leverkusen has secured victory to win the title in the Bundesliga this season and Tuchel as coach of Bayern Munich must take responsibility for the title of dominance that has been lost this season.
Or Bayer Leverkusen must experience many draws from the remaining ten matches that must be played this season, even this is still impossible if we look at Bayer Leverkusen's performance which continues to play well against any team, so that the remaining ten matches will not change the position of the standings, especially at the top because Bayer Leverkusn Of course, it's not a stupid team to let go of the trophy they almost lifted but instead it was lifted by another club because they weren't alert at the end of this season.
I am quite sure that Bayer Leverkusen will succeed in breaking Bayern Munich's dominance this season, even though it will only be temporary because a team like Bayern Munich will correct their mistakes and perform better next season as long as they don't make a mistake in appointing a replacement for Thomas Tuchel.
I really don't sees it that way, that it's all over for Bayern Munich, see, their is a saying that it's not over, until it's over, though it's a very difficult task because their destiny is no longer in their hands, but if complacency creep into this Bayern Leverkusen team between now and the end of the season, they might still lose the league, so in other not to give any room for Bayern Munich to come back into the race, is for them to keeps on doing what they are doing, by getting the desired result till everything is confirm and sealed.

Concerning tuchel, I think their is already an agreement in place, that he would be leaving the club by mutual consent at the end of this season, so that is no longer news, so by next season, their will be a new manager in charge of Bayern Munich.

It's not interesting to discuss Dortmund because they don't have a winning mentality every time they look at the season and what they do is more about business that benefits the club owner. They always sell the great players they have and even the players they sell are generally successful when they are at other clubs and manage to win titles. Now the competition is not Bayern Munich, but Leverkusen who managed to top the standings and for Dortmund there is almost no chance of catching them.
Never mind Dortmund, Bayern Munich itself, which is currently still in second place in the Bundesliga, also no longer has the opportunity to catch up on the points that Leverkusen has except by simply hoping that Leverkusen can lose four of the remaining matches. And I think that is a very impossible thing to expect because until now Leverkusen still holds the record for an unbeaten team this season so there is no greater opportunity for other teams to catch up.

Quote
If other teams could play like Leverkusen then the Bundesliga would be even more interesting, but that is difficult to do because club owners don't have a big budget to recruit good players. Now Bayern Munich is also trying to persuade Xabi Alonso to move and if this is successful then next season Leverkusen will again be a club that is not taken into account because they have lost a great coach.
In terms of being the best throughout the season for a team, it does not only depend on the players, but also on the coach, such as Xabi Alonso, who is currently coaching Leverkusen. And I think it's not only Bayern Munich who are interested in recruiting Xabi Alonso to be their coach, but there are many other teams who are also interested in recruiting Xabi Alonso to be their coach next season. Because Xabi Alonso has proven that good players start with their coach who makes them better in the team.

We have seen in the past seasons that Dortmund have no interest in winning the Bundesliga title. The main goal of this team is to find talented young players, then develop them with some experience, and then sell the players at very high prices and profit. This is what this team has been doing for the past few seasons. Even though the points gap between Dortmund and Munich in the Bundesliga is not too big, I don't think that the Dortmund team is interested in winning the title. The Dortmund management has ambitions to win the title. Perhaps the team thought that breaking Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga was impossible for them.

However, Leverkusen is likely to be the champion this season. After a long time, Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga has waned. Expect several teams to compete for the title in the coming seasons. Dortmund, Leverkusen, Leipzig and Frankfurt are strong teams. But I hope next season the Dortmund management will build a stronger squad, and fight for the title.
It's not interesting to discuss Dortmund because they don't have a winning mentality every time they look at the season and what they do is more about business that benefits the club owner they always sell the great players they have and even the players they sell are generally successful when they are at other clubs and manage to win titles. Dortmund does not have a winning mentality because they have sold some of their talented players to make a profit. Even though if they had a winning mentality and could compete with Bayern Munich for the title and they could become champions, that would also be profitable for the club owner because they would also get a certain amount of money itt's quite big because they succeed in becoming champions, they will get a big name and also profits so that other clubs will also be reluctant to face Dortmund, but if it's like this, all parties will definitely think that if there is a club that wants players from Dortmund, they just have to offer a certain amount of money and make a deal. If the management agrees with their wishes, Dortmund can easily release their talented players.

It is difficult for other clubs to compete with big Bundesliga clubs if they don't have a big budget and have the right coach to build the club. Leverkusen doesn't have a budget as big as other big clubs but they have managed to recruit the right coach so they are able to build extraordinary performance and The coach certainly also provides motivation so that the players' mentality can be developed in such a way, but if Bayern Munich wants this coach, it is possible that Leverkusen's performance will decline again and they will no longer be able to compete with Bayern Munich because Bayern Munich will use various methods to get them to dominate again.

Borrusia Dortmund is not an average team, but with their recent performances, they're very close to be call average team. The team's board have messed with the system of growth, they sold the important and prominent players for the future and settled for average players. I don't know how they do it but Borussia Dortmund keep raising brilliant players, at the end of the day, they put them on off to elite clubs in returns for gigantic profits. Borrusia Dortmund have made huge mistakes in the past decades and those mistakes which the board felt was nothing are beginning to show signs currently.

That is the main point. Dortmund's management is business minded. They are only interested in making money by selling players. Dortmund management has no desire to win the title. Dortmund could have been champions if they had won the last match of the previous season. But they missed the big chance to win the title in the last season as well.

I wonder if Dortmund had Lewandowski, Haaland, Haller and Bellingham in their squad, what a great attacking line-up they could have made! But that didn't happen. Dortmund management made a lot of money by selling players when these players were in peak form. And I think they will continue to do so in the future unless Dortmund's management changes.

First of all I would say the players have to have a winning mentality. And definitely need management support. Leverkusen doesn't have a strong squad, Xabi Alonso's match strategy and hard work from the players has made Leverkusen unstoppable this season. Players need to be confident, along with experienced coaches, it is possible for teams to fight for titles. Dortmund, Leipzig and Frankfurt have the ability to build a stable squad. But clubs won't waste money if they don't want to win the title.

So as long as Dortmund aren't that bouyant yet to keep high wage players, the best thing is for them to sell off
With many potential players being sold from Dortmund, such as Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, and Jude Bellingham, who came from the Dortmund team and were sold to several very professional international teams, such as Manchester City, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, At least this shows that Dortmund is known as a team that produces talented players, and its players are currently highly sought after by coaches. With the sales results, as you have said, Dortmund has managed to make a lot of profit. Even though Dortmund has never won the Bundesliga, they still earn large amounts of money from the sales of the players.
