Interesting, I haven't thought of this but this is a good idea if someone is looking for another place to keep his back up. Just make sure that whoever does this is the one who'll do the drilling and won't ask someone to do it so that no one will have an idea about the secret storage.

I do not think it is a good idea to store a hardware wallet in a hidden secret drawer because bathrooms are always wet and produce more moisture, which I believe can damage the hardware if stored there for an extended period of time.
If it's the hardware wallet that will be kept there, it'll surely be corroded because of the moisture but if it's just the seed, like written in a dogtag or any material that's moist resistant. It shall be fine IMO.

The same goes for a paper wallet, so I believe the best option for storing seed backups in a hidden drawer is a backup seed made of steel, such as a Crypyosteel Capsule or a Keystone tablet.

At least better way to conceals valuables like the hardware wallets in as much as I don’t have a problem with this, my only concern is
1. The remote having a little bit fault which means one might have to take out some tiles out to actually get the box open.
It shouldn't be that difficult to get it open with a screwdriver or a similar tool if the remote started causing problems.

2. Second I think not all building will be to have this kind of box except the thickness of the wall is increased for tiny walls.
You will have to choose the wall carefully and, obviously, make sure there is enough depth there. The drawer in the video is quite large, perhaps even unnecessarily large. If you only wanted to hide a seed and/or a hardware wallet, you wouldn't need such depth.

I came across a video showing an interesting way of hiding your valuables, which can include seed phrases or hardware wallets. A fake bathroom tile with a drawer inside of the wall. The drawer is controlled remotely and pops out with the press of a button. You can then pull it out.

The drawer is neatly concealed and hard to spot. At least that's how it looks in the video.

Before you watch the video, try to guess which one is the fake tile on the wall? Can you spot it?
It is impossible to determine which of the tiles is fake, because the tile outline (joints) are sealed with sealant, which makes all the tiles the same. From a visual point of view, it is impossible to determine where the hidden drawer is.

But there are other methods: for example, tapping the tile, which will allow you to determine the voids, as well as a metal detector (the presence of metal elements).

In general, a rather interesting and useful method for making a hidden drawer, a small drawback of which is the need to re-seal (to smear) the outline with sealant after each opening (in general, this is not critical and can be easily solved), and also, how to open it if the battery runs out or oxidizes (may happen in 20 years Smiley)?

I would make some minor changes to the design: add a thickened wall to the front part (behind the tile), similar in structure to a concrete wall (I'll have to experiment with materials), so that this tile doesn't knocked with an empty sound, but at the same time so that it doesn't affect the ability of the drawer to slide out due to the shifted center of gravity. Overall, I think it is a useful solution with a drawer behind the tile, which everyone can individually modernize based on their needs.

Overall it is good option to have at home as you only worry is to safeguard the remote. But it should be noted that even with this one needs various back ups again in different locations because of some natural disasters like earth quacks and its likes

The reason why I love this concept is that no one will ever think that ypu can keep your valueables hidden in a bathroom. Secondly, your bathroom is highly prohibited to anyone not staying in the same room with you.

Lastly, it is the last place that will come to anyone's mind to look for such and even if you go there, how will you know it is hidden inside the tiles. It's unique. I enjoyed the video.
