Community i need your help ... im trying to keep the price of BURST at 200 satoshi ... but i cannot do it alone ... so we need more buy pressure ... as u can se at poloniex and c-cex i already buy 200k BURST alone ...

If u care about this coin you need to buy ... trust me 200 satoshi is a good price ... it can easy go to 500

It's not just about buying and exchanges - we need some actual application for the coin - games, shops, services and whatever else you can think of that accepts it as a payment method.

Can anyone explain why ppl still mine BURST?
Is it profitable at all?

Not anymore now if you don't have already your HDD.

"We're mining cause when we hit Bittrex price will rise to 3k.
We're only on c-cex now, price is only 500 satoshi, we need more echangers."

but there are not PATH parameter in wplotgenerator.exe?Huh?
thanks!

i try some command but seems it doesn't work!!!

noone know if it is possible to give plot path ?

Why don't you just copy the .exe to the folder you want the plots to be generated in and run it from there?

Where are all the ppl who shouted "hold your coins" at 800 and 600 sat?
Where?

I sold my coins at 698 satoshis and everyone laughed at me.  Who's laughing now?!?!?!  ME!!!   Grin

Since then I have mined another 10,945 coins, but I won't let them go for less than 800 satoshis.  If these jackholes are so confident that this crap coin is going to 3000, they should be thrilled to buy mine at 800!

yeah you are so rich with your 15k coins dumped on 700 staoshi Cheesy And i remember about your crying about rour mining problems at begining. Pathentcic Tongue

Can anyone explain why ppl still mine BURST?
Is it profitable at all?

one of many reason: takes time to plot, once you have plot ready you can let your hd mine with relatively low cost (in comparison to any other gpu based coin).

popularity is important, get listed on bittrex is important.
another important aspect is accessibility, I would say having burst coin wallet ready is not the easiest instruction to follow

Please someone create windows and osx wallet for burst if that possible, I would contribute 5000 burst for this windows and osx wallet initiative.. anyone want to add more burst contribution to this initiative?

I thought we have wallets working on Win and OSX? Oh, also for Linux? No?

I mean without have to install java first..., or do we have it?

No, but I don't think they will be coming out. At least soon.

profitable is hard to say.
if someone would try to dump 5m coins at once we would see 10 satoshi  Cheesy
if you bought new hardware dedicated for burst mining price is at current diff around 120 satoshi.
if you mine with hardware you have its really profitable at the moment.
if diff has raised price will follow in some weeks.
burst is slower in visible network growth than any other coin cause you first plot and then you mine.
there are no 1 day gpu farm rentals possible.
so most miner either have hardware or bought it.
if you plan to invest its hard to predict what will happen but as further the diff grows the more tend people to hold if mining costs more than they can get for their coins.
a market currently does not exist. a few btc buys may drive up the price to 500 satoshi and a dump of 5% of all coins is almost impossible...
if you have hardware mine, if you want to buy hardware buy burst directly.
buying hdd and sell them in a few month may work or not.
used hdds are almost worthless if you want to sell 20 or more of them.
best is to pickup some cheap on your own and mine with them till they break  Tongue
i just checked the sold used hdd auctions on ebay. if the hdd prices go down further in a few month it gets really tough to archive a good price for a used one.

it's crazy when even this miniscule buy pressure influences the markets so much.  If we had more miners we could make a bigger difference, but alas.
I fixed the problems that had the payout stuck (stupid bittrex requiring the withdraw message - at least the pool didn't lose any coins)
