1% per day is a great interest rate that anyone wants to own, plus compound interest, the depositors will quickly get rich. But you think, how can that business pay people when we are not sure what UCIF's operation is to make a profit?
Large companies in the world 1 year only profit about 30% - 50% and the value of stocks also increased at the same rate. such as Microsoft, Facebook, Google, Apple, ... and I also do not encourage people to send money to financial institutions like UCIF, it is definitely a clear scam.
UCIF has no overhead. It's just a dApp. The dividends come from the dividend pool when the dApp was created.

And where did those funds come from? I have questions as to where the money comes from to pay the dividends on this project. It seems to me like one big ponzi scheme. Will there be more funds whenever the first round of funds runs dry? If so, where are these funds coming from? Do the funds come from the selling of tokens on the exchange?

This is how simple the UCIF.io  investment is:

1- buy the tokens
2- stake the tokens
3- come back 24 hours later and withdraw the dividends
4- sell the dividends
5- repeat 3 and 4

That's a poor way to promote a startup altcoin investment first of all people wont get persuaded by this kind of promoting cause they might find this sketchy in fact this UCIF smells shady. So if you really want this coin/project to become successful hire an project manager & escrow. And second of all what makes this UCIF project different than ICOS ?
I would hire a professional to promote this if I could afford it. The guys at Coinmarketcap want a minimum of 5k just to advertise on their site. I'm saving up it.

UCIF was different because it was an STO not a ICO. Fully decentralized and autonomous dApp.

It's obvious that this was his activity and never stops doing it. But I don't think that they're going to hire someone that will ever make the project good because they're doing it on their own. And from my perspective, projects like this will find it difficult to emerge on this bear market because most of the projects are stopping.

Why would guys like him stop anyway? The ocean is big and there are plenty of people greedy enough to think it might work, and then they put some money in. Doesn't have to be much but if he snares a few people, it's enough for him to think hey, it works.

Then he does it again and new fools are born every single day.

We just have to stop being greedy but guess what? We all are.

Here is what makes the UCIF investment unlike any other:

When you buy the token, you are buying it from someone that already bought the token; not a company.
When you sell the token, you are selling to an individual; not a company.
The UCIF investment is not owned by an individual. Anyone who buys ,stakes, and sells the token becomes an owner.

I personally am often disappointed with campaigns like this, usually, they offer large dividends to attract participants / investors to want to invest in their tokens, but in the end, we all feel disappointed, it's better now that we do more certain things that are definitely profitable, such as trading and follow the gift if we want to profit, and we really want to avoid gambling.
You are right not all projects can provide benefits, it is better to learn how to trade in the market even if you spend capital but if you are able to trade well then you will get a profit. but if you want to find a bounty project, you have to find a project that pays accordingly

my choice remains on trading, I have been in a situation gambling and gambling only bring losses. so I think for beginners you should avoid gambling and use your money for useful things like trading
Why not just stake the UCIF token and earn 1% in 24 hours? Staking is much easier than trading.

Instead of investing in a noname coin that offers dividends, just buy a solid amount of the most popular staking coins like EOS. The outcome would be pretty much the same and you would hold a serious crypto currency in your portfolio.
Does staking EOS pay a 1% dividend in 24 hours? Does 1 EOS cost just 1 TRX?

the best way is to trade. but if it is not possible to join the campaign is the next choice. because mining also requires very strong patience especially with the current market price.
after participating in the campaign the trading was carried out as well as mining. can't avoid trading. crypto is very familiar with trading.

I don't really believe in this dividend. I perceive it as a manipulation to increase the price of the current token. Could be honest projects. But for a more realistic investment. The functionality of the token itself is more important.

Only ways I know of making crypto without any risk

1) If you have a Hero or Legendary Bitcointalk account then you can join a signature campaign. Most the pay outs are pretty well. No risk except for your time.

2) Bitcoin or Altcoin mining with ASICs or GPUs. This has some degree of risk but you can usually resell the GPUs when things start to go downhill. But as long as your power rate is low and your GPUs are paid for. It's a great risk free way to earn some cryptos.

3) Lending. Especially fiat lending. Instead of cashing out your profits and leaving in your bank account to earn little interest just cash out to tether instead and lend that. Get like 10% a year. Some risk if you get hacked or if exchange goes
Down or if tether becomes insolvent.
In addition to what you said another means of making money without trading or gambling can be done by offering creative services such making videos for new project, articles/content creation, work as an ambassador and signature code/logo design for new project if have computer skills.
Everyone can't have skills to offer their services and get paid in terms of bitcoin. Very few get opportunities as well, for those people trading or gambling is the way to earn money in terms of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. 10% return out of the investment is quite a big fund, but it is always good to prefer buying proven cryptocurrencies and get the earning out of the growth taking place with time than risking on unknown cryptocurrencies.
