it seems there is some closure on this and I'm glad to here it.  The poor families have had to deal with this circus and the media should be ashamed.  It was brought to my attention the CNN actually speculated that the plane was sucked up by a black hole...  I kid u not a black freaking hole....   

True, but imagine them tracing that missing persons phone to the middle of the desert then going dead for three weeks. You're not going to survive in the desert (or sea) for so long. Of course there's a possibility that the plane is ok, but it's highly improbable.

Thing is that at this point there is no evidence that the plane crashed: we don't have reliable radar data, no debris, no sightings... nothing. How can they be so sure that it went down straight into the ocean and tell the people who are desperately waiting for informations that their beloved ones are all dead? That's outrageous. When a single person disappears he/she won't be proclaimed dead only after two weeks of search, and here we are talking about big aircraft with 239 people onboard.

i was watching a video on CNN today and they saaid the final ping to satellite from flight 370 at the southern indian ocean was at 9:11 AM they are calling it the 911 PING

Well that's still what they're kinda saying, but they have a momentous task here. There's several countries out looking for it so it's not exactly incompetence; it's just a needle in a haystack scenario.

The authorities did this to Run away from the Defame it will bring to them.. just imagine authorities saying " We Tried , We Failed " they will never say this.

What is so unbelievable about that? Seems perfectly plausible to me, but I'd wait for more evidence before speculating, but what should a rational person believe then? Some wild unbacked conspiracy?

They've been given a great deal of ammo with this one.  It's not like this plane just flew of course, had a mechanical malfunction, and crashed into the sea.

I don't think any rational person would accept that explanation either.

If I were a relative to anyone on that plane, I would probably attack them outright for contempt of the gravity in the situation.

Religon is bad enough, but this. (Sorry if I offend any religious people). Witch doctors and their remedies...

Why won't they use witch doctors and remedies to build the planes in the first place? After all, they can do magic, so why won't the planes materialize out of thin air?

Malaysia is really making a fool out of themselves with this tomfoolery.

Perhaps it's some cultural thing in Malaysia, and that some people actually believe in it. But I can say that much, if some clown ever did shit like that when my wife went missing, he would soon miss some teeth. Well, probably not, but I would still think in those circles.

Anyway, with a lot of possible dead bodies around, I think any serious company should spare themselves shit like this.

It won't end the speculation and you're right people will still cling onto hope, but they're probably just prolonging their grief. The relatives wanted answers or responses from the investigaters and wern't getting any but that's because there was nothing really to report other than they were doing their best to look for it, but that it probably crashed.

Of course they are hiding something here.  I highly doubt we will ever find the truth.  They are hoping that people just bury their heads in the sand and ask as few questions as possible though. Less lies to cover up that way.

I don't think this will end the speculation, but the authorities officially cleared their stand..! I have heard a Lady's reaction

so people  aren't gonna buy what authorities has to say, they will keep praying that someday some miracle will happen and their relatives will comeback.

Seems like they made the statement just to shut the relatives up who were constantly badgering for answers. They should've just waited till they've found it, but I guess they figured telling them what is almost certainly inevitable won't hurt. Funny, if they do find it and by some miracle it has actually landed somewhere, half the relatives will probably then sue for emotional distress.

That will start a whole new discussion here..! there is already to many speculations about what happened and what didn't..! I think the story of 370 crashing into Indian Ocean is also a speculation but not much substance to support authorities claims, but under  the circumstances they decided to tell the world ..!

They officially claimed that it is in Indian Ocean..! and no one survived..! !! i don't know if that's true or they just tried to end all the speculations around.!
