Great video, thanks for sharing! I was expecting to see Thurman running his mouth but it seems like he is torn between showing respect and trash talking to build hype  Tongue

I'm still leaning towards pac man but Thurman's KO stats are pretty impressive.

I just took a look at the odds and we are currently offering 1.92 on Thurman to win which is higher than most fiat bookies at the moment.

I'll be keeping in touch with our sportsbook team to monitor the odds over the next few weeks and will update if/when the odds move and more markets (like method of victory) become available.

Considering their Knockout percentage, Pacman having 56% KO rate while Thurman's KO percentage is 73% the Knockout probability is really high. Actually it is also very obvious here why Thurman is the favorite considering that out of 29 wins his First Round KO scored at 9 which is pretty high.
This is expected of Thurman because he is fighting non big names early in his career, Manny too got high percentage of KO's on his first 20 fights because as what i have said they are fighting nobodies. Manny has fought big names and very successful, only disadvantage of Manny here is his age, that maybe what the odds maker consider on putting the line odds of the fight  Grin.

Be careful with the "age" issue, remember age is just a number, plus he's a vet in the field, he knows how to knock out if given the opportunity as well as avoiding being knocked out. And I dont see Thurman being the favorite here, everything will eventually change when he (Thurman) test Pacman's fist.
Anyway, nothings guaranteed here, everything is just predictions and views towards the fight. Cant wait for July lol.

I just finished watching the video, it was a good interview but Thurman is also showing some respect to Manny.
Compared to Maywather, I think Thurman is not much of a trash talker, this guy does not talk very fast, he seemed like doing his job to market the fight.

Yeah, I also think so. By that interview we can say that even if how confident Thurman is, he still has that very high respect towards Pacman and his power inside the ring. As expected even if Pacman has been trying to be humble we can see on his expression that he is quite pissed off lol. That would only mean one thing that this might really be a good fight since thurman is also the type of fighter who does not back down.
That's really fun to watch if how this fight will ends up and who will exceed from one another, Manny is quietly preparing for this fight and he's going
to be adding more conditioning skills same like his previous fight, this would be for the fans and for the glory he already have from this game.

It's gonna be a good fight, actually I have already subscribed for PPV taking advantage of the early promo given by our channel provider.
The amount that I paid is equivalent to only 12.5 usd, and I have already plans for this watching with my family again, and of course, making sure that out generator will be fully filled in case there's a sudden cut of power supply.

Thurman's mouth is just for entertainment purposes. He is gathering pay-per-view and audience. No way this fight will be a blockbuster and Thurman knows that so he will do the trashtalk for audience to think that this fight will be intense.

He is just doing the right thing, without some trash talking this would not heat up the Pacman fans and that's good because Manny got affected also, he got irritated with the trash talking of Thurman and he is more determine now.

Filipino are known humble, so Manny is just showing his real attitude, but hoping this will ignite him more to fight more aggressive in the ring.
If we can see at least a knock down in this fight, it will be entertaining already.

We have seen that trash talking Manny is a bad thing, Manny might not show his real face when being confronted by the media. But we are sure that at the back of Manny's mind, he is determined to show and win in KO or TKO fashion. I think Thurman is trying everything to sell this fight to casual fans in the US. He doesn't have the media magic and attract people to watch his fight so obviously, at the end of the day, fighters need to sell their fights and this is what Thurman is doing.

The trashtalking of thurman is just purely An American kind of thing, we know how hard can the Americans be when it comes to boxing trash talking, they are on the top of the list including Floyd, Mike Tyson, Hopkins, Roy Jones and a lot more.

OT: Lol it is just me or Thurman really seems to look like Floyd

On the start of the promotion, Thurman is trash talking but why is it now that he is quite? Manny's response to his trash talk is that Manny will do the talking on the ring. This is an article stating that Thurman is overweight at the moment so it might be the reason why he is quite, training hard to make the weight come fight time.

Thurman might be a hard trashtalker to Pacquiao but you know there are other meaning why he is acting like that.

Pacquaio already achieved the highest recognition he got so trashtalking him is basically a non-sense thing to di since he's already not on his peak. Unlike back then when Mexican boxers always trashtalk Pacquaio as during that time, they are equal in weight class or not closed to retirement. Trashtalking does make sense because of that.

It will really trigger out something if someone do trashtalk. If you are an eight division world champion and someone do talk about your retirement
then you would normally be pissed and its just right for Manny to react on that way even myself would really be triggered on that one.Thurman should be
prepared on how to block those powerful and fast punches.lol

Here is what Pacquiao says about big mouth Thurman,

Quote
Asked for his response to Thurman's retirement jibes, Pacquiao told AFP: "My response to him is we'll see. He is giving me more motivation and determination to work hard and prove that it's not true.

Former Australian heavyweight Justin Fortune, Pacquiao's strength and conditioning coach, said the Filipino icon was "pissed off" by Thurman's remarks.

"He's said some pretty silly stuff," Fortune said.

Roach meanwhile told AFP that Pacquiao had been "upset" by Thurman's comments.

So it looks like Manny is not taking those thrash talking lightly, he is now super motivated to prove that Thurman is nothing special and that he can beat this young lion at his prime and at his game.
This response will create big interest from this entire boxing industry, with how Manny taking this challenge will give some good hints that betting for him will value this odds that's bookmakers are providing right now, if he can push more and condition his skills and bring back those killing instinct and give this young fighter a lesson to respect, it's really getting hotter while the fight is getting closer.
Correct, and it really shows that Pacman is still hungry after all this years. I'm under the impression that the odd makers are thinking that Pacman cannot pull the trigger anymore, but with all the trash talking, it looks like he is motivated again and willing to challenge Thurman. This is going to be an explosive fight in the first 1-3 rounds, maybe just like the Cotto fight.

This should be a good fight. Might place a small bet on Pacquiao.

A lot of people are placing bets in favor of Pacquiao and I am sure that the gambling sites are very happy. I too would have placed a bet in favor of him, had they offered at least 250 against 100. But the best they got is 210, and considering all the parameters, it is not worth the risk. I was thinking about placing a bet in favor of Thurman, but hasn't decided yet. Most of the sites are offering 170-180, and I think that it is a very good deal. My personal prediction is that Thurman has around 75% chance of an outright win.

How can we sure that a lot of people are betting on Pacman, maybe only those fans would say, but Thurman also has a lot of fans.
We can only based on the odds, here, Thurman is the favorites, so obviously there's no enough money betting on Pacman to change the odds.

Pacman has 100 million+ Filipinos solidly behind him, in addition to tens of millions of global fans. Thurman is a good fighter, but he is not that popular. I am saying that lot of people are betting for Manny, because the betting sites lowered the odds for him from 250-260 in May to 200-210 in June. And this happens when an overwhelming majority of the gamblers bet in favor of the underdog.

I agree that most gamblers worldwide are rooting into Pacman. International odds can be wrong but seldom. We will see. Personally, I like Pacman on a slight edge.
