I have a feeling that so many people here are over-estimating the chances of Manny Pacquiao. At the best, I would give equal chances to Pacquiao and Thurman. But current odds, like 1.5 for Pacquiao and 2.5 for Thurman looks very difficult to digest for someone like me. I agree that Pacquiao is a legend and commands huge fan following. But Thurman is in very good form recently and during the past few years he has beaten a few big names. And another factor is that the fight is happening in the US and Thurman hails from there.

@Questat. Pacman fans are of course mostly Filipinos, who might be sensitive to the trashtalk and insults. Maybe they feel everyone is always bullying them and Pacman is their deliverance from this bullying however short.

Trash talkers usually lose, and that's why they were talking trash to begin with. McGregor trash talked a lot to Mayweather, and even though he almost made it the distance, in the end his punk ass got beat.
Broner, the last guy Manny fought, did a bit of trash talking and was overconfident to the point of being ridiculous about it. Even in the end, at decision time, he thought he had won, but the reality was far different. Even after he lost, he still thought he had won... I'm pretty sure he still thinks he won today. That's the danger of overconfidence.

I don't think that Manny vs Mayweather 2 will ever get realized. Floyd is retired for all practical purposes and he does not have the interest in coming out of retirement to fight anyone. I wouldn't mind much about the trash-talk. Fighters behave the way they are told by their managers and sometimes the organizers push hard to get more publicity. But in the end it is the performance inside the ring that matters. Even after all this trash-talk, if he loses this fight then it is not going to be good for Keith Thurman. Reminds me of the David Haye vs Wladimir Klitschko fight in 2011.

Yep, I found one, there's a middle eastern food place downtown that is advertising it, along with a free plate of shawarma for your entrance fee, lol. Sounds pretty good! There's actually only 2 billiard halls here and they both open late. Maybe there's smaller ones that I don't know about. Speaking of shawarma, which Filipinos seem to love apparently (there's at least one place in every mall) (?), saw this billboard the other day:

Lol, surprised to see Floyd with that Shawarma advertisement. As far as I know, I have seen shawarma in mid 90's already here in the Philippines and yes people are swarming up to this day to get one. So just that one free shawarma with Red Horse while watching the fights.

Though it's a memes it does not mean Floyd would step back into the ring to fight Manny. We know Floyd is now a promoter and also a friend of Manny which makes the anticipated second fight between them is almost impossible.
He probably got well paid for these though, and it sure as hell beats training for several months and getting fit in the face.

We know Pacman and he's down to Earth and a humble guy but when he's starting to heat, he just can't show on how he would badly want to beat the out of Thurman immediately.
I think it's easy to feel it because we are aware on how Thurman talks and on how Manny replied to his words before along with the opinion of Coach Freddy Roach. Manny just can't reply directly on what he really feels and words through street talk.

The ways that THURMAN looked much bigger then Pacman did at their face-off today makes me wonder if he will be able to back up all of his talk leading up to this promoting.

Meanwhile, you shouldn't think Thurman is running his mouth cause his previous fight is enough to give me confidence/experience needed to beat Pacman and if you recheck the face-off you'll see than Thurman seems calm and ready for the fight.
