It will be the 3rd Pacquiao fight I've seen in the PI... Its always an interesting day, kind of like a holiday.

Welcome back kuya @nutildah  Grin.

I'm sure by now you know how Filipinos celebrate every fight day of Pacquiao (win or lose). Everyone is really excited and hype specially Filipinos. Lots of bets going around even in the local side. I think this is the first time I have seen Manny Pacquiao put a lot of efforts and prepared for a fight. Physical and mental, he is really prepare for a war because he knows that this will be one of the most dangerous and difficult fight of his career, and for some 'personal' reasons as well.

Just out of curiosity, where do the Filipinos here like to watch the fights? I'm still looking for a place... I don't have a "local barangay" so I need to find a sports bar (not many in Cagayan de Oro)...
You can easily find some local place which advertising their own paperview and have some free beers/foods.
But those kind of place are common, some places are on those billiard places which also you can find some people who want to gamble on the fight. (Just expect some beers on every places you will encounter on the fight of Pacquiao vs Thurman)

Yeah, it will definitely be fun, and worth drinking in the morning for! Last fight, I was at a budget hotel with mostly westerners and their Filipino wives. The owner of the hotel was playing the fight downstairs in the bar area for all to watch. He was pouring shots of whiskey for everybody, I got pretty fucked up, it was good time to be had by all. The owner was completely wasted, which made him all the more generous with his alcohol. He even gave a couple bottles of Emperador to the staff.

I believe in CDO(Cagayan de .oro) there plenty of places people do celebrate and watch the game as well,in place near fish port of Cagayan there are multipurpose hall or basketball court to be specific that people watch together, they drink and enjoy the whole fight of Manny and it was sponsored by the city as welk(only the subscription and the wife screed ofcourse not the Liquor)

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
The fight is quite close now. I looked up Thurman, looks like he got a good chance of winning. But knowing Pac's team, they obviously picked a fight that they also believe they'll win. Can't really tell who will win (every time I've bet against Pacman he won). Only thing I'm sure is this will we better than the infamous fight with Pretty Boy.

Learn from your mistake, you should be on Pacman on this fight, though you are a little late with the good odds but 1.60 is better than nothing.
Hopefully you can decide soon as the odds of Pacman are dropping like the way people drop their money on him.

Good luck, always make a wise decision.  Grin

Just 2 days more and the greatest showman exciting tremendous fight lol will be publicly watch.

Make your bets now to your two favourite boxers Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman.

I've drank about a hundred liters of Red Horse since i moved here, maybe more! Though I do prefer San Mig Light... My absolute favorite domestic beer is SM Super Dry, but its a bit more expensive... All the SM's are pretty good, except SMB.

Have you tried Emperador Light yet? it does have 27.5% alcohol volume and much more good  than Red Horse and Sam Miguel Light Grin also I might prefer the “Banayad Whiskey” lol try watch this —> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpmzmTy_bLU it will make your day.

Just two more days to go for the fight... the hype started more than two months back and after that it was a long and frustrating wait for the matchday. Manny started as an underdog, and now he is the favorite as per the odds from majority of the betting sites. Extremely important fight for both of the fighters, especially after all that trash talk.

Keith Thurman said he is looking forward to punching a senator, that is funny but that match will be his first loss.

I never look at Manny Pacquiao as the underdog, I mean it is Manny Pacquiao we are talking about. Keith despite being undefeated, Manny still has that advantage to Keith and that is the time they are fighting. Experience and also, don't forget that it's been a while since Keith fought again. He's been resting for years while Manny is still fighting at that time.

For now, I am looking forward to a great fight. Manny is getting slow but the power and the skills are still there. Despite his age, he is still the pound for pound boxer of the Philippines. Bets will be later in our table with beer and peanuts.

That's a lot of time. Good luck!

Is this in CDO?

No, its in Angeles City, Pampanga. I don't live there anymore, though.

Hmm, if you don't have a barangay then I guess the best option is to go to sports bars, I'm not sure if movie theaters will cover this one though. Personally? I will go to our local barangays or to some friends house who ordered this on PPV and watch while we drink RH (Red Horse).  Grin

The ways that THURMAN  looked much bigger then Pacman did at their face-off today makes me wonder if he will be able to back up all of his talk leading up to this promoting.
Part of me wants to believe he can knockout Pacman before the 8th round like he says but part of me makes me think he is just running his mouth
THURMAN will have more pressure this night but I still think can knockout Pacman
Thurman is an knockout artist and the is undefeated, so that possibility cannot be discounted, especially if Manny get careless.
He probably learned his lesson when he was knock out cold by Marques, though that was a lucky punch of Marquez but that could also happened here.

Latest and final Press conference as of today. We can't wait no longer for this fight lol Pacman's eyes is really sharp while Thurman is still doing his thing making sweet talks to hype the fight out. Thurman said that he is aiming for  a first round KO or 2nd round KO or the 7th round KO.

Tho, you can see that Thurman is slowly realizing who is fighting with (a legend).

This one is a bigger fight, so probably there will be no more traffic in the streets as people will surely be watching.
For me, I like that because I myself is also gonna watch the game, for awhile let's have silence and focus to our fighter that are bringing honor to our country.

That is cool. I mean the impact with the Manny fight, the whole Philippine is on a stand still. Heard of this news many times as well so I'm not surprised if Filipinos will go and have like a party watching Manny fight Keith Thurman.

I'm rooting for Manny and do hope that it will be one of the best highlights of his career if ever he knock out Thurman on Saturday or Sunday (depending on our timezone).

...

Look at this YTchannel most of his videos content are all about for Manny Pacquiao & Keith Thurman upcoming fight.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCInmrsOlpRfRuE4LQ0uMhLw

Note: Filipino Youtuber, and you will not regret watching all of his videos because you will laugh hard.

Few more days before this fight and really can't imagine how intense this will be for Manny. Many are now going on his side and wanting to see him knockout Thurman. The power is still there and being agile can't be denied although he's getting older.

I'll watch the video later, thanks for sharing that.

You will not regret watching all of his videos Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman, lol.

3 days before the fight  and philippines our now ready to give full support to manny. All Barangay Stations in phillipines will become a cinema. That fun when manny launches super punch to his opponent, all filipinos shout loud when that happened.

We can’t deny the fact that Thurman sharpness in the ring and has have a power, but we can’t deny the fact that also manny is more sharper and has have that advantages of speed&power.
I'm sure that most of the places that has livestreaming of the match would shout for cheering people's champ. This is giving me the chills now while the match is getting nearer and nearer each day.

I'm waiting for local bettors to ask for an advantage just to continue their bet if ever they can't find someone to bet against them.

Read out the news guys, there's another statement from Thurman.

Regardless, the roads all over the country are unbelievably peaceful during Pacquiao fights. Not just roads though. There is literally minimal to zero crime during Pacquiao fight days. Even the "gateway to hell" (Manila) shall give you a peek of paradise in that too short a moment when Manny is trading blows far away.

Dump it!!!
I wish I would have bet on PACMAN when he was underdog now he is favorite but you cannot count on the young undefeated Champion ONE TIME!

Mr One Time almost got stopped in his last fight and won by MD against a low ranked opponent.

Sure he has a punchers chance, but if if Pacquiao just keeps his guard up and doesn't go for any bang outs he should have no problem winning.

Just out of curiosity, where do the Filipinos here like to watch the fights? I'm still looking for a place... I don't have a "local barangay" so I need to find a sports bar (not many in Cagayan de Oro)...

I usually watch Manny Pacquiao fights in resto bars. It is not that hard to find one (as far as my experiences here in Davao City is concerned). Almost all kinds of restaurants, bars, food courts, "local barangay" gymnasiums or courts, and even private homes will turn into pay-per-view sites during Pacquiao fights. I even watched a Pacquiao fight at a private university gymnasium here.

And oh, by the way, a Manny Pacquiao fight day here should be declared a non-working holiday. It is more watched than the SONA (State Of the Nation Address).  Grin

I'm a Pacman fan and i would bet even if it is now 1.50 on the odds. Got a feeling that Manny would showcase his speed here against the slower Thurman.

You cannot change the time back, but you will regret if you will not take the opportunity to bet now, at 1.65 that's still money if you are fully convince that he can win this fight easily. Act now man! as I'm afraid it will drop further.
