Nor am I broke.

Someone with money is not going to be willing to pay $30 for a $200 loan that lasts a month.

Please, suchmoon, what's your grudge?

Dont start that shit, i made myself look a tit standing up for you and removing the tag. Suchmoon has every fucking right to dig you out, seriously and I mean this really nicely as I feel you are a young guy and need some advice - leave the forum, get a real job, stop trading and get a new hobby. if you cant manage your money well enough to have a trading bankroll and a real life roll then you aint ever going to get out of this hole.

take it as you will but for your own mental health and happiness listen to me fella.

Fair response - thanks for writing this out.

Please, suchmoon, what's your grudge? Not that we've even conducted any business together, but still.

It wasn't "sweet talk" or anything of the sort.. It was 20 days since I last had my loan fulfilled (by a gift), and I've decided to ask here again (knowing the backlash) in chance someone agrees to loan.

When you say

Shouldn't have fucked up but here we are. Life goes on anyway, will keep working at it.

and then you turn around and do the exact same thing - it's obvious that you didn't mean it. Same with your behavior regarding jackg's gift. Even Quicksy didn't think you would dare to ask for loans after that.

Nor am I broke.

If you need to beg for extremely expensive loans here to pay your bills - yeah, that's pretty much the definition of broke. It means you have no stable income (at least not enough to cover your expenses) and you're not creditworthy IRL.

Yes, I mention "fucked up" in regards to mis-estimating repayments dates, relying on others, ultimately leading to late repayments.

I understand the hostility, completely. I'm not expecting this loan to be filled immediately, and on Sunday will close the thread if not filled, and I will seek it elsewhere. Again, I offer 10-20%+ interests because the market demands such here.

Let's not forget he got at least one red rating removed because he said some nice apologetic things.

Typical conman sweet-talk.

Not gonna bother with polls anymore, just wanted to point out that our friend is broke again even after receiving a gift and is begging for a loan to pay bills:

What a surprise.  This guy is obviously not just a trader looking to use other people's money as leverage, but more likely he's a compulsive gambler, always in the hole and always asking people for money.  It's either that, or he's working up to an exit scam.  But whichever scenario is true, people should be very cautious about lending him money and should only do so if marcotheminer puts up collateral--which he's thus far refused to do.

I figured this thread would shrivel up and blow away, but nope.  Dude's still working the forum like a beggar at a casino.

I trade using bitmex (5-20x leverage) or binance (taking into account where I can the advice/signals of traders with either proper track record or who I know personally). I wish I could put up collateral, this is definitely my plan when I get a solid base set.

Receiving a gift was the worst possible outcome for his last loan request.

I believe his intention for taking out his recent loans is to build up reputation and not having to repay his “gift” means he is deprived of that opportunity.

This particular loan could be a safe opportunity, but I believe you would be playing a role in an eventual exit scam.

It's a valid concern/thought to be had on here. All I can say is repeat what I've said before: I have no interest in pulling any sort of scam.

It's almost unbelievable, until you consider who it is you're talking about.  Sometimes folks really need to bottom out before they see their destructive patterns, but apparently Marco isn't there yet.

As much as jackg's generosity is to be commended, I'm not sure it was helpful.  Kind of like giving an addict "just enough to kill the pain."

I wonder if 2double0 is late on the loan he got from marcotheminer:

Yes, he is late.

I wonder if 2double0 is late on the loan he got from marcotheminer:

I don’t think it is a real loan and there are no public loan terms. The later is probably intentional.

Believe what you want. Pretty sure initial terms/initial loan is somewhere on the forum. Some agreed/changed off-forum of course. Not my alt.

I'm not convinced they are alts, but I suspect the account 2double0 was owned by marco at some point.  The loan tag by marco might be for the purchase of the account, which was probably a pricey purchase nine or ten months ago and it's being paid off over time.  All mere speculation.

Marco has previously mentioned that he and 2double0 are working to get the loan paid off, but wouldn't divulge much more information than that on the subject.  I agree that it would be easier for 2double0 to get a loan if that tag wasn't there, and marco seems smart enough to know that.  If it was marco's alt, I doubt that tag would be there.

It's quite bizarre either way. If they're alts - why would marco keep the rating, which is one of the reasons that prevented him from getting a loan from DireWolfM14. If they're not alts, why would 2double0 not ask marco to remove it if the loan has been repaid.

2double0, whom I strongly believe to be an alt of Marco is currently trying to take out a.5 ETH loan now that it would be very awkward for him to take any additional loans from his Marco account.

Also here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.50762832

IMO, the loan activity fairly solidifies the connection, despite the single password change after 2double0 last posted a blockchain linked address, and when Marco last confirmed he controlled it.

Not sure what to do with the poll so I'll just leave for now. Basically what happened is that marco got a gift from jackg. I hope he'll stop begging because the gift exceeds what he could have ever been able to borrow.

Sorry Marco but you should have known these types of antics are too entertaining to us to ignore. For what it's worth, hey man I've had to take out piddly loans before and I know the struggle is real.  Its just the way you go about asking for them is complicated and not confidence inspiring. Here's hoping you make enough capital in your next endeavor so suchmoon can't create another poll about you. Though I admit they are fun.
