Pretty sad...

Couldn't agree more.

You will probably never have made such an easy 20%; in your life.

I've already earned that much from my sig campaign this week.  It was pretty easy and I didn't have to risk anything.

Yeah you just had to reply in these sorts of threads Smiley

68% of us (me included) guessed right.  I'm switching it up this time, though; I don't think he'll find anyone greedy enough to lend to him.

Realistically, I wouldn't put it past him to take the BTC0.04, and leave all this harassment behind.

Pretty sad that it crosses YOUR mind that I would run with 0.04BTC. lol

Round and round she goes, when she'll stop nobody knows.

Step right up, take a chance, what's the worst that can happen?  You'll lose your pants.

Everyone except one guessed wrong unless you mean that he's gonna repay the off-forum loan late too... which is unverifiable and the loan probably doesn't even exist. We were right on the "borrow again" part though. The poll is clearly flawed Smiley

Realistically, isn't it worth BTC0.04 to leave all this harassment behind?

I think he's probably one of those needy ones who enjoy any kind of attention.

Marco claims he got the April 17 loan off forum so basically the late-added option "won" (not find anyone greedy enough to lend to him). Yeah it's not quite fair, I know, but we're dealing with an exceptional sleazebag here. The final results:

Code:
Will marcotheminer...
disappear quietly with the 0.05 BTC       1 (6.3%)
troll everyone on the way out             1 (6.3%)
repay it late and borrow again           11 (68.8%)
repay it late, never borrow again [...]   1 (6.3%)
repay it on time                          1 (6.3%)
not find anyone to lend to him            1 (6.3%)

The poll has been reset for his newest loan request:

The idiot calling the idiot an idiot. Huh

Meh, I can hold off a couple more days if necessary and wait for someone "ready to take the risk" for 0.03BTC. Secured P2P elsewhere. Cheers for those who considered and were ready to loan.

I've had to do 15+ messages/posts just now back and forth just to arrive at a maybe-conclusion.

That's because you're an idiot and enjoy wasting your time arguing blatantly obvious shit. All you had to do was say "yes" to DarkStar_'s offer but it looks like you lied about the value of your non-collateral too so yeah...

Grow up and learn how to do business.

You mean how to haggle over $10? I don't feel like I need to learn that.

Edit: I never stated I had collateral to offer. I said I have alts in my possession. Big difference.

I don't have to justify shit to you or prove myself but here you go Wink

Believe the screenshot or not I don't care, and yes - I realise I'll now have to revise my loan request to probably 0.025 to use this as collateral.

No collateral is the IDEAL. The altcoins is to make the lender sure that even if I were to get scammed or somehow fucking lose their loan 100%, I would still cover it. The only way I can lose it: if ZebPay scams or I get scam sending it on the way to ZebPay by phishing. Both of which ridiculous but possible, yes.

Why no collateral? Because it's easier. I've had to do 15+ messages/posts just now back and forth just to arrive at a maybe-conclusion. Then, I'll have to send all the altcoins, verify who I'm sending them to, then wait for them to confirm and only THEN will I get my loan.

Do you get why this is mostly a pain-in-the-ass for $150? Which I've loaned and repaid endlessly (yes .. occasionally late with extra interest).

Risk here is low in first place. All this hassle just to reduce risk a tiny bit more and hence make it risk FREE = a PAIN.

Grow up and learn how to do business. There are risks involved, won't always be collateral - I'll send it no problem this time because I need to get cracking if I want to make any money.

My reputation is intact, hence why I can still request and fill loans. It is my the red "scammer" trust that people THINK is EQUAL to reputation that pisses me off (pisses me off because people say reputation = your number; it wasn't when I was green and it still isn't when I'm red).

You're claiming to have altcoins but you're refusing to provide them as collateral. I'm thinking that the poll needs another option.

0.03BTC worth lol.

I guess what I'm saying: if you don't trust me with 0.03BTC, don't deal/lend/trade with me.

What you're saying is that you have a collateral but then you don't when you're actually asked to show it. So why did you even mention it if you really want a no-collateral loan?

I thought marcotheminer was considering changing his tactics and actually promising a longer time frame to pay the loan. However, I see that he set the due date for only a week. Anyone offering a loan to him at this point must actually be hoping he is late again so that they can earn more penalty interest.

"Expect lateness for the extra lateness" This is actually pretty funny.. But read my latest loan request, it cannot be late - I am not waiting on someone/something..

There isn’t even an option to say he will repay on time.

Your optimism is noted, and should be revered.  But, statistically speaking most would put the odds of that happening at slim to none.
I find it unlikely that he will repay on time, but IMO he is trying to offer the best terms for a lender without considering the possibility he won’t have the money in time. I don’t think he would have difficulty getting loans with similar interest offered but with repayment dates when he actually repaid instead of the due dates he initially said he would repay.

I also doubt the lenders had a pressing need for the money immediately after the original due dates. The consistently in what I see to be disrespecting lenders by telling them he will repay earlier than he actually does it what turns me off about these loans.

I don’t think he will default on a 0.03 loan, although he may be trying to repair his reputation and when he realizes he cannot, he may eventually default on a loan this size.

My reputation is intact, hence why I can still request and fill loans. It is my the red "scammer" trust that people THINK is EQUAL to reputation that pisses me off (pisses me off because people say reputation = your number; it wasn't when I was green and it still isn't when I'm red).

Suchmoon, why no option that the bloke is just a prized cunt?

Sugar free gum? It’s important to know

Fresh scraped off the sidewalk in front of the CVS at 5th and 32nd. I think that counts as healthy.

The first three options mean pretty much that, particularly the second one.

Super retarded long con?

Looks like a reverse long con where the perp is borrowing decreasing amounts and will eventually run off with 57 sat and a pack of gum.
