It's hard to predict when. But I think it will take so many years before it will happen (if possible) especially when some governments are still ain't accepting and trying to stop the use of bitcoin in their country. As what I can envision, it's possible when technology is very advance across the world to the point, everything we do needs technology.

Most likely, BTC will remain for all a means of speculation in the market. I don't think more people are willing to risk using technology they don't know. Now a lot of attention to attract a variety stablecoins such as Libra/TRON/MasterCard. It seems to me that people will be more willing to use these coins but not bitcoin. Since in case of a transaction error, they will not be able to do anything.

I understand his point of view, but bitcoin is now widely accepted and its a talk of the country already, time after time, it could be used by everyone of us, and i hope those countries that are still hesitant, they could provide legal measures in order to give safety to the countrymen, about awareness of what bitcoin could do in a digital matters.

Christian Dekker: “I think that everyone will use bitcoin in one form or another. I’m not sure in what form this will happen, whether each person will have their own wallet or bitcoin will be part of some other mechanism in the hidden form "However, this is a very important tool, and people will use it."

What do you think guys? how many years do we need for all people using BTC?
I don’t think that we will see it in the coming years, but I think it will probably be possible in some ten years or maybe more, because now elderly people are almost not interested in advanced technologies and cryptocurrency in general and it will be very difficult to educate such people here and therefore in order for the whole world to switch to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency it will be necessary to educate everyone and it will take a lot of time and of course it is necessary that all countries would recognize Bitcoin.

it's not going to be too long because we have seen Bitcoin being used in grocery airports, restaurants and there are many ATM in many parts of the world, once the Facebook coin is launched, it's another story or chapter of adoption coming and additional people coming in to use Bitcoin everyday so many great news and it's only a matter of time.
from the many positive news that indeed opens the possibility for bitcoin to rise. and I think if the governments of each country legalize it, the new bitcoiner will multiply, and in every country can use it as a currency without any restrictions. therefore many say that bitcoin is digital gold, it can be imagined if mass adoption occurs throughout the world

Somehow it is starting now. The mass adoption we are talking about is already happening. If Christian Dekker said in what form? The form of digital payments, I guess. A powerful tool that will give the economy a convenience in everything. But we are just two steps from the mass adoption since there are still unaware that bitcoin exists or some are still not decided to use and patronize bitcoin. However, the possibility of mass adoption is still very much higher despite of the other government's oppositions.

sooner or later I'm always sure of that, big countries will agree with bitcoin and serve as a means of payment,
and if that has happened then a small country will follow and eventually the BTC will be adopted en masse.

The problem with adoption is caused in not clearly defined regulations and taxes. Many people do not understand how to pay taxes from cryptocurrencies, so they are afraid of using them.  Roll Eyes
Exchange sites have already charged with the tax and for me, that's enough. But it's not always caused by the tax regulation, dude. Only a few countries have introduced tax regulation for personal income.
But many countries are still sitting in the grey area and that makes the adapters are feeling confused only. tax is not something that makes them all feel worried about that.
The ban from the country is a thing that makes them afraid to adopt bitcoin. the regulation doesn't matter a lot in this case as long as it's not declaring to ban bitcoin or crypto.

The bitcoin mass adoption is continues specially to the young people interesting by the new technology, most of them are came from the information technologies student not possible to discover this new form of money using the technology. So I think 5 to 10 years because the new technology are faster to improve and people are very curious about the development of new technology.

Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular in the world, more and more people learn about it every day. However, mass adaptation is not the fame of bitcoin; it is an opportunity to pay with bitcoins in any store or cafe. So far, Bitcoin is still far away.
The block size problem will not let the Bitcoin holders spend their holdings in coffee shops, restaurants. The Litecoin and Ripple coin suit the payment gateway mode better than Bitcoin transactions. The 25000 transactions per second are quite large to handle the worldwide payments if the post terminals ever accept the Ripple ledger as a payment method.
Even Visa and Mastercard companies want to use the advantages of the blockchain technology that can help them to pass the big size transactions faster than traditional methods. Adoption of the faster altcoins will be more accurate idea than the adoption of the only Bitcoin in my opinion.

I can't say how many years yet but there something more important in other countries than adopting bitcoin but sooner or later they will starts to use it as a currency to pay something. People are still in doubt about of investing or using bitcoin since they were too afraid of the volatility of the market that their investments might not gonna come to them again.

Actually  bitcoin is so popular around the world and the adaption keep increasing time on time ..but the big problem here is the people who use it. What i mean those who used bitcoin to make crime and to sustain their bad habits.. Reason some governments realy hate bitcoin and other cryptocurrency..for me in my view if bitcoin have no bad side for sure bitcoin now replace all the fiat because of the potential itself and the records which is there's no other can break.
You speak as a person who doesnt know anything about cryptocurrencies, just like U.S. members of the government.
Did you know which currency is the most used by criminals? Not Bitcoin! But American Dollar!  Tongue
After all, every currency has at least an important role in many crimes and does not fully exist in bitcoin, so I don't think there is any assumption that bitcoin is used for crime, because if we only look at it at least we only see it on one side. Mass adoption continues to make cryptocurrency a digital currency that has many benefits, of course in the economic space.

Not everyone will use Bitcoin but if the majority of the world population adopts it we can then bodly say mass adoption has taken place. Think about the remotest parts of the world, those who are Conservative about cryptocurrency and blockchain I'm sure they won't adopt it.

No one can really answer that question because no one knows tomorrow or can see the future. However, in my own opinion I think it will take time for mass adoption of Bitcoin to take place owing to the increasing number of projects of which many aren't useful or have anything to offer. With this increasing number of projects leads to many distractions in the crypto space of which many see altcoins as a means to quick cash out.
Nevertheless, I believe that as most platforms are now incorporating Bitcoin into their platform mass adoption is certain but no one knows when.

Actually we can't predict this one more accurately .Mass adoption of bitcoin is taking place over a long period. But based on adoption, only the price of bitcoin increase and the 100% adoption of bitcoin is almost not possible .Actually it's a difficult task ,since some country doesn't accepted btcoin as a legal tender.

The mass adoption is generally required for reaching the trillion-dollar crypto marketcap but the timing is not clear in the minds. As expected the new crypto projects have a goal to solve the real industry problems with the efficient problems and this can be a start line for the increasing awareness regarding the use case of cryptocurrencies. If the demand falls by the real people and small part of the world population have an idea what is Bitcoin, talking about the mass adoption is early. Real projects have a goal for the next 20 years and expecting the sooner results will be childish at this point.
