Mass adoption is only possible in rich and powerful countries like in Japan in which their people are now using Bitcoin in direct spending and salaries but it is very impossible in poor countries like in the third world countries as most of their people do not know how to use Bitcoin due to poor education which is vital for the blockchain transaction.
now in third world countries, 90 percent of people do not have bank accounts and therefore it is very difficult for them to receive money from the employer. if in the future crypto will be available everywhere then for these countries it will be a very important tool

This currency system is still quite a new one and it has to follow lots of processes before it can be generally accepted, there is no doubt that the community will continue expand bit by bit as there is exposure of the coin to the public on a daily basis, but it cannot gain a fast rate of adoption as much as it will get when it is fully legalized and regulated.

This is where the government then comes in, for us to really have a full speed adoption of bitcoin, it must first be adopted by government because there are so many people out there that would hear and pick interest, but because of lack of understanding of bitcoin anonymity, they will shy away of it fearing that government might harm them kind of if they use it since it is yet to get full support, but without government support, it might take up to 50 year while with government support may take less than 5 years.

as i've always said i don't think "all" people are going to use bitcoin. just like anything else we can only achieve so much adoption before it is capped. so a percentage about 60% to 70%  might be a much more reasonable level of adoption. and remember that so far we have only achieve less than 1%.
so with that said to answer your question i think we need at least 15 more years to reach maturity and get closer to mass adoption. right now we are still in the denial stage where people still don't believe bitcoin can succeed even though over the past decade its performance has been phenomenal.

Massive use and adoption of Bitcoin will not be happening overnight. We have to always remember that Bitcoin is just a teenager and it can take a lifetime before anything like a currency to fully spread around the world. The rise of the US Dollar in the international commerce did not materialize within just a decade. And there has to be good reasons or incentives that people must feel before they will adopt something en masse. I am not so sure what can push the greater part of the whole population to get into Bitcoin but I am hoping that there will be...perhaps a global recession can be a catalyst or a great political upheaval just like World War 2 (but this thing can already be extreme and people can suffer a lot).

That's right, the time will come soon and now we are in the process of getting there. Right now my country is in a digital wallet trend, but I'm laughing, because everything is centered and some of those digital wallets are launched from banks.

I am sure the momentum will come and if everyone is familiar with the blockchain, mass adoption will soon be realized.

This idea is the goal of the cryptocurrency industry. But at the moment it is only a dream of many members of the cryptocurrency community. Today, very few developed countries are ready to recognize bitcoin - this problem is the most urgent. And first of all you need to solve it and not force people to use bitcoin everywhere.

Christian Dekker: “I think that everyone will use bitcoin in one form or another. I’m not sure in what form this will happen, whether each person will have their own wallet or bitcoin will be part of some other mechanism in the hidden form "However, this is a very important tool, and people will use it."

What do you think guys? how many years do we need for all people using BTC?
Massive bitcoin adoption rate is not far away anymore, yearly bitcoin always get better and now banks have already joined crypto race as well,i think that regulation has a larger part to play if it ever get approved, with regulation many more people will want to give the tech a try and we all know how addictive bitcoin and other coins are,the moment you start using crypto for payments the more you won't want to stop using it

The majority will use bitcoin but I don't see it to the point that everyone or all the people of the world will use bitcoin. There will be people that would stick to the old transition and payment because they can't get over.

But give it more time, there will be an enormous number for the mass adoption which we'll be seen shortly. The gov't is working on it and there will be a certain regulation of it worldwide unless they don't care about its growth.

I think mass adoption will come after years once regulation give to cryptocurrency.

Many country cant accept bitcoin and crypto because there is no regulation yet and their economy and taxes will be much affected/.

Five to ten years are needed to get mass adopted and I hope it won't be BTC. We need something more progressive to achieve mass adoption and it definitely will not be a coin with 7 TPS. More likely: LTC, ETH or BCH.

Bitcoin adoption is around 2-3%. Look at this S-curve, which shows adoption over time. As you can see, it takes a time when adoption goes from innovators to early majority.  Wink

I'm not so sure about that unless the country itself or government recognized bitcoin or if it will be teach on a learning institution. Mass adoption will come but I doubt that all people will ever use it, not all people can even own a cellphone at least or even buy a hardware wallet.
Change is indeed a slow process and it depends on the government if they are going to accept bitcoin on their country and let their people adopt it. It will take a lot of years to make it, its possible but difficult to achieve because you can't easily say that people are interested unless they can easily get some benefits from it. Actually most of them are still reluctant when it comes to technology.

In order for Bitcoin to be applied everywhere, it needs to be very well developed technologically. Now a lot of people are working on it, but no one knows how quickly this will happen. I think it will take no less than 5-10 years
