What do you think guys? how many years do we need for all people using BTC?

The amount of mass adoption Bitcoin has gotten, or it's current market capitalization is very much beyond what even Satoshi could have anticipated to happen after just 10 years. I believe  is on the right path, and a fews years time from now it's going to be even better.

I don't think BTC will ever catch on as an actual currency, used by everyone. It may catch on as a currency in countries with hyper-inflation, but even there they probably are better off using a different coin.

Where BTC will hopefully catch on is as a store of value, like gold. Now gold in theory can be exchanged for goods, but it's not like folks are going to their local starbucks and buying a cup of coffee with a sliver of gold. BTC is too volatile (and currently way too slow/clunky) to be used as a currency for most people, and I don't see that changing much in the future.

For crypto to catch on as a currency, I believe it needs to be some sort of stablecoin.

Five to ten years are needed to get mass adopted and I hope it won't be BTC. We need something more progressive to achieve mass adoption and it definitely will not be a coin with 7 TPS. More likely: LTC, ETH or BCH.

it only needs more countries in the brink of madness like Venezuela for its adoption to be widely spread. Hongkong is the next lol if the protest in hongkong died out, we may not see adoption of BTC or crypto there. Hongkong is a finance district and once there will be adoption there BTC will definitely rise. It won't take 5-10 years anymore/

It's long we have been talking about the mass adoption of not just bitcoin, but cryptocurrency in entirety. It is good that some countries and organizations have started adopting block chain. It seems they are more interested in block chain, than in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Which is why the acceptance of bitcoin might take a long time. Although, I believe that it will one day come to pass.

for now i dont think it, in my country crypto still neutral, not ilegal but can circulate.
for everyone use bitcoin i think that need a long time maybe 5-10 years again all people know about bitcoin.
so for now i enjoy bitcoin for get income/earning from trading or investing.
what is happening in your country, is almost the same as what is in my country today, where the government has not legalized bitcoin because at this time, but in this case our government also does not forbid to make bitcoin only an investment asset so that its use not allowed as a means of payment.

As long as we can spread bitcoin to the public and introduce to them, it doesn't need too long to see bitcoin will be accepted and use for the payment transaction. We don't know the accurate time when it will happen, but we have the power to let the public know what bitcoin and cryptocurrency is. So far, they only know about cryptocurrency from one side, and many of them are not searching for more details about cryptocurrency. If they can learn more about bitcoin, I am sure that in the future, many people will join in the cryptocurrency.

Actually  bitcoin is so popular around the world and the adaption keep increasing time on time ..but the big problem here is the people who use it. What i mean those who used bitcoin to make crime and to sustain their bad habits.. Reason some governments realy hate bitcoin and other cryptocurrency..for me in my view if bitcoin have no bad side for sure bitcoin now replace all the fiat because of the potential itself and the records which is there's no other can break.

As we have seen recently Bitcoin narrative has changed more to a Store of Value which I think makes sense, the 21 million number of BTC is a plus and minus to it, in terms of inflation good but interms of medium of exchange not so good, most people want to hold a whole sum not 0.1BTC, I could recollect when I introduce Crypto to people, they prefer to go for Ethereum to BTC because they wan to own 1 Ether to 0.1 BTC

I think even if we wait 100 years not everyone will use bitcoin

Bitcoin is not fiat and it cannot be imposed on everyone; but if one day bitcoin can gain the recognition that paper money does
Only then can no one be left out

it's hard for all to accept bitcoin and I'm sure that won't happen. there are many countries to fight the circulation of bitcoin so there is still a fear of using bitcoin plus very high fluctuations so that people are afraid of it.

I don't think everyone will possess some bitcoin. Only cryptos speculators and people who are interesting about the technology or dreaming about becoming rich are buying bitcoin.
I don't see an adoption of bitcoin in the current society. Yes, there are some credit cards companies offering to pay with bitcoin. But you have to rely on another company to pay with your cryptos.
Personnally i don't have this kind of credit card and i don't really want to have one as cryptos is too much volatile. Bitcoin can gain $1000 dollar in the next 30 minutes or lose the equivalent sum.
Paying with bitcoin is not going to happen.

In order for Bitcoin to receive mass adaptation, you do not need to invent anything new. To do this, it is only necessary that governments, global corporations and banks do not interfere with the adaptation of Bitcoin. Bitcoin has already won the minds of many people, they are using it, they trust it and it needs only time to adapt it more and more.

He can just call it cryptocurrency bitcoin is not the whole cryptocurrency and yes I think that people will use cryptocurrency in the future and will have a wallet of their own.
as for how many years it would take for people to use cryptocurrency is it depends on the situation. but in my own opinion I think it'll take 2 decades or less for every person
for cryptocurrency to be the main option for payment.

Now there are problems with big transaction fees and low transaction speed.
Also, there is a problem with safe storage of bitcoin. Many not experienced users are attacked by hackers...
If those problems will be resolved, then much more people will use Bitcoin...

The problem with adoption is caused in not clearly defined regulations and taxes. Many people do not understand how to pay taxes from cryptocurrencies, so they are afraid of using them.  Roll Eyes

How many years needed to adop bitcoin can't be determined, dude. We know that some times people are using bitcoin to create a payment system but in another case the most of people are using bitcoin as store of value.
that guy was saying about the true story about bitcoin if bitcoin has so many use cases and whatever the reason for those people to adopt bitcoin and as long as the creation of bitcoin wallet is still increasing a lot and that means if the adoption for bitcoin is still ongoing.
5 years needed by bitcoin to achieve more than 10k rate and more years to come and people will realize the true potential of bitcoin.

I think it would take about 15-20 years for everyone to know Bitcoin and whats the purpose of this. Of course mass adaptation of Bitcoin will come from a huge governing bodies like the government to impart knowledge on how it will work.
