We are trying to do everything users ask for, and what we think makes the GUI better. There is still a ton of little things that we got to do !
Some more little things i think will be appreciated.
(1) Make the sell limit order & sell market order buttons red (and not green)
(2) Put the buy button on the left side and the sell button on the right side both on 1 page (like https://www.bitfinex.com)
(3) Put the buy, sell and order book all on the same page (no much point in having a market order button when you can't see the market prices next to it)
I hope the color change is an easy fix and will make a big difference.
Right now if you are not concentrating you can by a mistake order the wrong command you intended (happened to me a few times)
We totally agree. Right now I was working on this screen already, adding a few things to make it clearer. I already added the order book and a few additionnals information in the development environment (how much is already pending in open orders etc.)

For me who bought mastercoins at average 0.25 (first 5 at 0.419 and then 15 at 0.21) it does not feel good that thousands of coins is being dumped at 0.17.
Honestly this is a good thing- as long as mastercoin is not a total failure, then diluting JR's holdings is only a good thing in the long run. Someone mentioned that he is trying to take his initial ~1,500BTC investment back out. While I'm not 100% comfortable with that, the 145K mastercoin he still has left will be more then enough to give him ample incentive to keep working. :-)
Personally though- I'd be happier with MSC being sold for BTC to pay full time developers.

The distributed exchange will be launched in a few weeks, this will be the start of Mastercoin.
Selling through the Dist. Exchange would be a better idea for everyone.
This is a dead end clusterfuck - I hope I will be proven wrong because I have hundreds MSC at stake...
You don't talk like a person with hundreds of MSC at stake.
For me who bought mastercoins at average 0.25 (first 5 at 0.419 and then 15 at 0.21) it does not feel good that thousands of coins is being dumped at 0.17.

I have 500 MSC going @ 0.15 btc/msc. This is far below JR'S sell price and market price vs volume. Anyone serious about getting in on the mastercoin project at an excellent price, this is your opportunity. PM me to arrange a trade.

How would that verify anything? I could post anyone's address.
I've made trades for 100's of msc with others from this thread. If anyone is interested in a trade I have references and we can always use an escrow agent.
It could help a great deal. You post your address here and say we wanna do the trade. You can send a tiny amount from that address to prove your are indeed the owner. Amount could be sent to another address of yours, doesn't matter. But it could be easily verified.
So wanna post your address? Otherwise one could argue you don't have the coins or you just wanna crash the price with a fake sale so you can buy some cheap coins.
If I can crash the market by putting up a sell order of less than 0.1% of the coin cap on a forum trade thread then anyone holding msc has much bigger things to worry about. JR is doing just fine crashing the price on his own btw. Now if you want to buy some, feel free to send me a PM to arrange escrow. Otherwise quite being a douche bag and wasting my time.

Yes it has decent market cap but very low trading volume. You can easily see that on the main MSC exchange. So fake 500 MSC sell orders can move the price.
Sorry to send the market bouncing around guys! Most of you seem to get what is going on here, but for those who have any question about my commitment to the project, here is a clarification I just posted on reddit:
if you set the price 0.17 ,then the market price will never be higher than 0.17 ,peopel will buy from the market not from you. and selling Behavior also make some people to keep away from msc .what you should do is giving good news ,attract more people in msc. when the markt is large enough , you can easily sell your msc on the market .Quote

I have taken a lot of criticisim for not diversifying in the past, and now I am finally doing so, with the added benefit of getting to work on my passion full-time.
As for the concern that people would dump coins on the market and then try to buy them back cheaply from me, I will not sell in such a situation. The price would have to stay down for a long time before I would accept it as a new market equilibrium. I'm very sensitive to the lack of volume on our exchanges, so I'm prepared to wait a long time for the right buyer(s) to come along. There will be no "dumping".
Please keep in mind that this is only a tiny fraction of the Mastercoins I have, and the ONLY reason I'm selling them is to pay pressing bills and get more time in on Mastercoin. I am so excited to be a part of this, and I MUST get more involved!

So you are encouraging pump and dump here?
I will never complain JR selling MSC as long as he still hold considerable amount. My only complaint is about the progress of the project. Once MSC becomes successful, the price of MSC will naturally increases. Only speculators care about the current market price, when there's nothing have implemented for MSC yet. Long term believers will either be happy about the lower price, or just worry about the slow progress may kill this project.

Man, you guys are all just one big jittery lot! Crazy price swings in two days. Who are the guys with NO confidence? One negative word and then SELL!!!
I guess that is a result of cyrptocurrency Pump and Dump mentality. So much pump and dump game going on. Everyone tries to rush the exit faster than the others. First indicator of a dump coming and everyone goes nuts. Hilarious.
Didn't anyone bother to think the protocol is still good and the coders are still working hard? That doesn't matter - only thing that matters is beating your neighbor out the exit!!! Run!!!!
