Yes, the later realized they did not give owners enough time to convert. They extended it for something like 6 months - year.

Awesome finally real GUP token has started to be used on the mainnet of alpha version. It went through expected move of dump as it has been normal now to see big ip at announcements or updates of important things. This is temporary and those watching the development will be more actively seeing coming things now.
This will not fall down again, the price is stable and soon it will reach $1 easy. Keep holding guys, more big news are about to come, patience is the key to success especially with this kind of big project.

I was expecting dump on gup cause of qgup. For who would like to get qgup needs to hold guppies on wallet but deadline ended right?
It's so confusing actually. I think the Matchpool dev team hates Bitcointalk. I hardly see them make any updates here. Furthermore they are very vague on their statements.

Up until now, Matchpool has been running on the Ropsten network, one of Ethereum’s testnets. All transactions of ‘XGUP’ have been used to test how the $GUP utility tokens would be transacted before using real $GUP inside our app and moving on to the Ethereum main-network.
Starting today, ‘XGUP’ is being replaced with $GUP on the mainnet.
What can I do with $GUP?
Using MetaMask, you can load up your $GUP wallet and use $GUP to create or join a community on Matchpool. Set an entrance fee in $GUP for your own pool, or choose to pay $GUP to enter someone else’s pool.

What's going on? Saw matchpool from bittrex very nice jump followed by huge volumes, it is very good profit +25%

Though there is nice increase and every single market is being pumped which simply means this time dump will not be seen. I would rather expect some dips which will lead to further increases in short interval of times in my opinion. Gup token will be used inside of the platform which will keep pressure on it s valuation to keep rising.

I think you should ask in the QTUM thread since I think the QTUM team was the one pushing it. I would also like to know what happened to the QGUP airdrop.

It sounds really interesting after seeing their social media update. There was no update for long time and suddenly they united two things and made bigger news. This gave me impression on the back end things are going well. Another reason of holding now if somehow comes chance to buy cheap must jump on.
GUP seems to be in run of breaking $1 anytime. This kind of attempt was seen yesterday but then there was decline and now this morning price looks very good and healthy and trendy increase. Before major announcements getting mark of $1 will bring huge benefits and impact on new investors.
Now seems that we should expect some updates at start of new year sometimes even still 2 weeks for this month but most of part of this period will be covered with off days. Anyways also I am for months in this so for me it is all fine to wait for few more weeks.
Now the price goes back to ranging.... And until then, investors will just have to wait a bit more. A platform like Matchpool indeed takes much time to build.
