Yes i bought it at around the same price too. The price will rise again when:
1) Beta is released (GUP usage within the platform)
2) Guppy Alliance (when companies/startup partners with Matchpool to use their platform)

I will suggest everyone who can not face the current crucial situation through which altcoins are going right now to take a break of few days and enjoy summer vacations of simply stay away from the markets. Everything will be back with more force in month of August. People will not ever remember this bad period they experienced.

People sell because they want to hold BTC on bittrex to get free equivalent value of BCC. You can see in the dumps of all altcoin. There are two approach to this from my perspective:
1) Buy BTC and hold to get free BCC equivalent value (which i think BCC fiat value will be low as people will be dumping them after they obtain it & its just another altcoin)
2) Buy BTC and capitalize on the chance to buy cheap Alts!

Beta version which surely is under development though there is no news about this, will be caused of next rise. Alpha version is being used to get feedback of users experience in the meanwhile work is being carried on next phase. This is standard practice for any big project. Guppy will be sitting at $1 value at least in matter of weeks.

You should join our slack, it is much more active over there. 2 news were released this week. They introduced the Guppy Alliance targeting companies to work together to use their platform. The community is also trying to push the team to implement GUP usage prior to Beta release on Matchpool platform. Volume is low because GUP is not yet used in the platform in the first alpha release. Its an early project, give it more time. In fact it is a good time to buy since its in ICO price (in fiat value) and below ICO price (in BTC value). Compare it to Steem and judge for yourself the potential upside as an investor.

I have just replaced half of holding form another token with Guppy at these price.Which gave me a conversion rate of 1:3. It was perfect timing to increase my stock of Guppy.
