Hm.
Play some lottery 0.2mbtc\ticket and free for few days. Win 2mbtc from free lotto.
Withdraw day ago, confirmed with e-mail.
But still nothing in my wallet.
Support didn't answer, telegram (last seen) 30th july...

Silence.

Hi, if I have identified your account and withdrawal correctly, our payments team member that reviewed your withdrawal found that it was one of tens of duplicate accounts all presumably created to exploit the Free Crypto Lotto. From a quick review, the evidence seems quite conclusive. I won't post more evidence here unless you want me to, but the activity seems clearly against the 8BET terms of use which only allow one account per user.

This sort of exploitation of the free lotto (creating many tens of accounts just to claim the freebies) is something that our team must actively combat, as it is essentially STEALING from other genuine players and we take our responsibility in maintaining a fair and 100% return lotto very very seriously. We won't allow any malicious usage to bleed funds out of the system that should rightfully be intended for genuine fair players.

In terms of the delay in responding to your withdrawal or your queries, our team prioritizes withdrawals and support queries from genuine players - so when an account clearly shows indicators of malicious use, it goes to the bottom of our support queue so our team only deals with this after we are done with other tasks that actually add value to the ecosystem.

You can expect that your withdrawal will probably be rejected soon, and our team will provide the reason why. However, your account won't be locked or blocked in any other way - so if you wish to contest the decision and counter the evidence of duplicate accounts, you will have the opportunity to do so. In the unlikely event of our screening being incorrect, we will of course reverse the decision.

same here i requested withdraw 4 hours ago, nobody is around, received withdraw confirmation mail and just waiting, seems fishy

Hi Skenthal

I've just looked into this and I can see that  ALL withdrawals for today are paid and confirmed on the blockchain. However, we must apologise as our records show that the LONGEST time for withdrawal payment (from time of withdrawal creation to time it was paid) for today's withdrawals was 3 hours 38 minutes. Add on confirm times and I'm afraid you might have been one of those with the longest waits, so again we do apologise for this - our aim is to make payments much faster than this. However, these should now all be paid, as there are no payments waiting for today - please check again.

To explain why this takes sometimes a few hours, our payments team members are at the moment still manually verifying all first-time withdrawals, especially to confirm no duplicate accounts being used to exploit the Free Crypto Lotto, which we are unfortunately (and I guess quite expectedly) currently seeing quite a lot of. In fact, I suspect the post above yours is one of these, and we're investigating further now before responding to them.

Once your account has been checked and the first withdrawal has been paid, future withdrawals should be a lot quicker. We are also working on a system that automatically makes payments to accounts that are already cleared, so it should be immediate.

EDIT:
just been paid now Smiley thanks again

Ah, while typing this I see you have confirmed receipt, excellent  Smiley
But again, our aim is to be much faster than this, and we're working on that!

a really cool concept  and a good site...

Thanks! It's great to get positive feedback, and the growth numbers are showing strong resonance with the community. 8BET grows from strength to stength  Smiley

at the moment I'm freeloading like a boss,haha...

Haha! Of course, no problem - that's what the Free Lotto is there for. And you're already contributing incredible value with your feedback and reviews. That's mostly worth more than we could charge for the tickets you claimed!

all in all,so far so good, well done 8bet-you really managed to create something different...

Thanks again! Check out the next innovation with the scratch cards, and we've got plenty more in the works. The model is really gaining traction and we're working hard at keeping up!

oh and please make the auto logout timing longer,it is annoying to find yourself logged out every hour or so

I'm sure you can guess why the auto logout is there - to avoid someone accessing your account and withdrawing your winnings when you leave your machine unattended.  But we get your point, and will look into how we can address the annoyance factor. There is a PIN feature that you can enable in settings, perhaps we could let you disable auto logout as long as PIN was enabled or something along those lines...... further internal discussions shall be had!

Hi

Thanks for the free lottery, it's always nice when you can get something for nothing  Smiley

And the fact you can win something by matching only 2 balls makes you better than national lottery in my country where you have to match min. 3.

I just found one little bug: when changing password you aren't asked for current password, wasn't even sure if it's bad design but turns out it is.
Or maybe two... I don't remember being asked to verify my e-mail when registering my account, but verification e-mail showed up in my inbox, which was little surprise. But as I said: I don't remember such message, it doesn't mean there wasn't one, maybe I just missed one.

Good luck everyone!

a really cool concept  and a good site, despite a couple early day bugs
I have been playing free lottery for several days now and have matched 2 numbers on 3 occasions
but what I really like is the concept, was very sceptical at the beginning since no fixed house edge means something fishy usually
but their team found a way to fund the lottery and it is working (judging by the numbers in the stake pool)
at the moment I'm freeloading like a boss, haha, but I will definitely promote the site and hope to get many affiliates very soon
also pondering some stake pool contribution too
all in all,so far so good, well done 8bet-you really managed to create something different from the omnipresent casinos, lotteries and dice sites
oh and please make the auto logout timing longer,it is annoying to find yourself logged out every hour or so

Yes, our aim has always been to build a much better-returning game than any of the existing lotteries out there (can't get much better than 100% return  Wink). 8BET games return 100% compared to around 50% for some of the best known lotteries in the world. We've blogged about why we think gambling today is flawed if you're interested in the background.

I have read a lot about your lotto and I think it's very interesting model, wish you good luck with it, unless something devastating happens it may work well for all parties involved, no just house/ lottery owner as in other similar projects.

Just did a quick back-of-napkin calculation on 8BET.io vs your national lottery (assuming same number of picks/balls) - with 8BET paying from matching 2 balls, your odds of hitting at least some prize in any 5 tickets bought would be about 56%, so better than a coin toss. This drops right down to odds of under 9% for the minimum 3-match model of your national lottery, over the same 5 tickets.

Wow, this is in fact shocking  Shocked. Some of my relatives play national lottery, I'll maybe try to convince them to switch to 8BET  Cool

Ah, 8BET don't actually stop you during registration to ask you to verify your email address like some systems you might be accustomed to. However, as email verification is used to confirm any withdrawals you make, the system preemptively verifies email immediately after registration, so as to avoid any unnecessary delays later when you want to withdraw, in case there was an issue with your registered email. You didn't miss the message, the intention was just to avoid interrupting you during registration.

I get your point, hate clicking those validation links myself, but as someone who lost 3BTC of coins because of not clicking link in email (to download ICO wallet) due to my health problems/ difficulties using computer I think there should be some mention of it.

Best Regards

Thanks for the free lottery, it's always nice when you can get something for nothing  Smiley

Glad you're enjoying it!
The Free Crypto Lotto is intended as a risk-free and easy way for players to check out the lottery platform and play for a chance at a decent win (1BTC jackpot) without needing to deposit any of their own funds. Those that enjoy the platform might well become valued contributors and/or give some of the paid games a try. Both the People's One Lotto and Revolution Lotto offer much higher jackpots, and much higher payouts for hitting 2 or more balls (Revolution Lotto pays DOUBLE your money for matching just 2 balls for example)

And the fact you can win something by matching only 2 balls makes you better than national lottery in my country where you have to match min. 3.

Thank you for the feedback, yes this is on our to-do list, we'll take care of it soon.
Just a note that there are other measures of protection (such as email verification of all withdrawals) even if someone did manage to access your device while you were logged in and changed the password - but your point is totally valid and we are aware of an planning to address it soon.

Yes i can confirm, i have won a minor prize twice now with 2 matching balls in the Free Lotto Draws using nothing but Free Tickets.

Saying that, I havnt withdrawn anything as i put my winnings into the Stake Pool so i cant comment on the withdrawal process from the site.

To explain my situation,  the Stake Pool earns me more mBTC for every ticket purchased in the paid Lotto draws, which are drawn multiple times per day so multiple earnings/interest credited (usually two times per day).  I personally have only contributed a small amount, equivalent to about $200AUD in BTC and am happy just watching my Stake balance grow so quickly (which means a lot of tickets are being sold). The Stake Pool is a risk however as the pool is used to partialy or fully fund a Jackpot win, so any Staked Coins are actually bets against the jackpot being won. Partial funds from ticket sales are distributed to Stakers (ratio by amount Staked by each Account) in the event the jackpot isnt won. You can remove your funds from the Stake whenever you like, it is processed imediately after the next draw due (as the jackpot is calculated using Staked Coins and advertised on their site so it wouldnt make sense if everybody ripped their coins out right before a draw the redeposited it after the draw).

I have come across a number of minor superficial bugs/broken Links/Dead ends on the site but these were all rectified and completely fixed within 24hours of notifying the site support. Something that actually shocked the crap out of me!

This team, honestly from my recent inquiries and communication with them, are willing to listen to us the punters and get the project right. I know my merit and contribution to BitcoinTalk is at most very minimal, im just not the type of person to post alot, i prefer to read quietly and take everybodies points onboard rather than posting mine. So yes i have no merit and nit av ot of history on these forums for anybody to trust what im saying however i have real money invested in 8Bet as staked coins and i have used the lotto both paid and free therefore i can give you my honest experience from that.

EDIT

i must make mention that i am in no way affiliated with 8Bet, i dont know the organisers personally or professionally only through support inquiries and bug reporting. I do not receive any form of renumeration from 8Bet or any affiliate associated with the site. my comments above are not paid forbor sponsored, they are my honest experiences and i am completely independent of 8Bet, its organisers and any affiliates.

in case anybody thought i was. im not.

also how on earth a 7 symbol nickname is considered too short and would not allow me to enter it (veleten)

I'll mention this to the developers of this feature and request adjustment unless there's some specific reason they opted for it to be longer than 7 characters

Hey Veleten! Good news, our dev team managed to squeeze this feature change into a bigger update that was shipped today - so you can now update your nickname to as short as 2 characters   Cheesy

Best grab your extra short @nicknames before they're all gone!  Wink

maybe it is not a bug as I haven't tested it on many browsers, but after you register your screen is messed up and starts flickering and the elements are all in the wrong places
goes away after a refresh,

Quite right, this was an issue affecting some users after successful account creation, this was resolved in an update around 12 hours ago, so should now be fixed.

for some reason you are asking for my mobile number as well, what the heck-its a cryptogambling site supposed to be pretty anonymous

Mobile number is entirely optional, it is only used for notifications of draw results where you have tickets entered, and only if you select the option to receive text alerts of draw results. Text alerts are a convenience feature used by some users.
You can also opt to only receive your draw result notifications by email, or not at all (need to log in to see if you won).

other than that-great site and I'm going to try your free lottery to see how is it working

Thanks! It's an actively developing project and we have lots more exciting features in the works, watch this space!
Good luck in the free lotto!

p.s. never mind say 0 free tickets, pay 0.35 mbtc to buy one, wonder is there a timer or some prerequisities of any kind or false advertising?

As a result of the above error you received after you created your account you first free ticket was not immediately credited to your account. Sorry about that!
From our logs I see that your first free ticket was only credited to your account about 2 hours later, but it is there and waiting for you now. You can go straight to the Free Crypto Lotto game now to claim it and play. You will also get another free ticket every 8 hours  Smiley
