Hello,

First of all thank you for work.

I've been testing for a few and comparing with nicehash legacy and I can't seem to get dual mining working on nicehash. I believe that's where the difference is between the two and I would rather use Megaminer.

How can I get it to work?

Best regards

In 6.0 release dual miner for Nvidia is included in "additional miners folder" you must move it to "miners" folder to activate.

Next release it will be included at "miners" folder because dual mining is one of most profitable combination for Nvidia now.

Hello,

Is it really good idea to set such big time  ??
@@INTERVAL_PPLS=1800

As I see for example algoritm "tribus" profitable only about 2-3 minutes,
but we will mine it 30 minutes...

Last days I tested
Nicehash (without megaminer)
and Megaminer on Ahashpool with settings  "Automatic24h"
- results are same!

Somebody compared results with settings  "Automatic24h" vs "Automatic" ??

What settings/pools are you using for best results ?

For PPLS frequently jumps are not good idea, PPLS pools pay only last N shares when block is found, if you jump frequently of one algo to another and pool find a block you can find that your last shares for an algo was before that "N shares" because while "N shares" period you was mining another algo, then pool don´t pay you nothing and your work for that algo went trash.

Same conclusion, ahashpool 24h profit aprox. equal to nicehash, I was mining at nicehash last week.

Any intention to deploy such feature?

Same with intensity: benchmarking a few values would be cool.

Not at this momemt, problem for overclocking is that is not NVIDIA-SMI supported. I dont know any command line utility that can change nvidia and/or amd speed. It also can be done with C++ own coding but I am not strong on it.

Problem with intensities is the absence of standard for miners, each miner use its own default values for each algo and miner crash or hang can appear if too elevated intensity is selected. I think something can be done and it is in my to-do list but not next releases.

Hello minors

I mine with 6 rx480 and I have a power value concern. During the mining I did not have the "PowerAvg" indicated.
Is there a way to integrate this value with a specific setting in the "config.txt" or should we change the "core.ps1" in order to get this value from the rx480 cards

Thank you in advance for your answers
ps: a big thank you for this system

I see MegaMiner does benchmark power limits.

Is it able to do the same with overclocking settings? Or, at least, choose a different profile for every algo?

No, MM can´t set overclock.

You have option to set a command before launch each miner (not each algo),but a miner has various algorithms, to solve this some people split miner file in 2 or 3, each one with desired algos, and add call to afterburner to set profile.

zergpool.com will not be available anymore(if someone still used it) as startum endpoint, please use mine.zergpool.com or europe.mine.zergpool.com

Hey, would you check zergpool again,
now all algos shows 0 profit.

I have uploaded fix minutes ago

Thanks!
Not sure but probably skein need some divisor maybe.

P.S. yeah I manually added 0.001 and now looks fine.

I´m not getting bad profit with skein

Is this miner ever saving benchmark data on close and actually mining the profitable coin some day?

It freezes after hours (script just doesn't finish benchmarking) and when I close it and restart, it goes through ALL algorithm again instead of only those untested.

Could we cut the crap and mine things finally? :>

6.X release has a problem with some AMD rigs, I have uploaded to github master code changes to avoid this (not to solve 100% because activity based watchdog is disabled to prevent that).

Zergpool have halted a lot of Neoscrypt coin, including some of the ones used for benchmarking with Megaminer

Next release (available in master code) will change zergpool coin level to algo level to solve this one.

Thanks

Additional question as I am waiting while a second rig is completing the benchmarks:

I notice that the benchmarks for Neoscrypt  for Ahashpool and Zergpool are quite a lot.

I don't think that they are really necessary. Those two pools are "autoexchange pools"

So, whatever coin the benchmark is testing, by pointing at the 4223 port, the pool redirect it to the most convenient coin.

By extension: Zergpool and Ahashpool have 27 different algos, so 54 test maximum (but Megaminer doesn't support all of them and some of them are obviously Asic) and the benchmark is done.
Lets say 108 if you have mixed rigs,  Plus 20 if you have nanopool for zcash and etash/blake2/kekkak, etash.
total 130.
Instead I have 296 minimum combination and I already remove the Asic algos.

Sorry for the rant, but may be you can save 15 h benchmarking ... for next release.

Did I miss something ?

Dual mining has a lot of benchmarks, one for each dcr.

There is one combo for pool/algo/miner/coin (if pool support) / power limit (if used)

Note one algo can be more than one time with different parameters, for example dcr value for dual mining, solver for ewbf, etc

There is one real benchmark (screen messages are not too clear) for algo/miner/power limit (that reach first position), this is the minimum number possible.

And I can do something to solve it?

I have disabled the PPLS until I see how it can be fixed.
