Now corelating that with the discussion in the mining speculation topic, see how high block rewards can come out of the blue?  Wink

But their emergence in a timely manner makes perfect sense to me. What I find strange is that this altar has been perpetuated for a long time.
But, of course, in reality everything is very unpredictable in this field.

What happened, for a repeated increase in the fee, and now everything is back to the way it was before?
Someone wanted to get rid of BTC, and the best way was to make a super expensive transaction?  Roll Eyes

Somebody started minting ordinals like this:
https://ordiscan.com/inscription/57015372
a ton of them:
https://ordiscan.com/address/bc1put7stra8wjckxws33vq22v9fzsmmrrdsamdeezjyq3gqte0lc22q7vsaez/activity

But unlike others they didn't go for the next block fee and out of the blue paid 5x times the average

The previous block was
Median fee   ~30 sat/vB$1.63
Next block:
Median fee   ~202 sat/vB $10.97
And as soon as those finished fees went down a ton, much like the Binance consolidation a few days ago, but that was only half a block worth of fees, but they still paid 240sat/vb.

Now corelating that with the discussion in the mining speculation topic, see how high block rewards can come out of the blue?  Wink

And finally some good news, we're down to 350vMB till 10sat/vb, Texas wakes up and we're up 15blocks so that means 15vMB of transactions on top of normal capacity getting processed, theoretically best case scenario we might see 21~22 sat/vb for a bit on Monday morning after the weekend is gone!

Not one, but a few super expensive transactions

For example, this block. It has many transactions of 100+ inputs outputs.

Fee's quite low now, saw it was around 35 sat/vB a day ago or two but didn't go under 30 sat/vB at least what I noticed.
Seems to be hard to go down under 25 sat/vB "again" but at least it's getting better but also can get up very fast again so if you gonna send BTC maybe now can be a good time doing so.

seems someone does not want the mempool purge limit to go below 21sat (min accepted 22sat)

Wow, them some low fees. Keep up the great work, FeeBuddy.

ChartBuddy on the other hand needs a kick in the pants.

Aside from the blockchain bloat & network congestion, the thing that I hate the most about ordinals & BRC-20 is when their proponents say mORe UsErS iS GOod fOr bItcOin PRiCe.... Well that's been totally proven not to be the case. Same thing on the Dogecoin side: Doginals is causing rapid blockchain bloat but it didn't budge the price. The only time it budges is when there is tweets from Elon or X, lol.

Look, if we could adjust that image, so that the results would appear on that screen, whenever the bot posted? Roll Eyes
Of course the image had to be bigger, but it would be really cool to see.

It is possible. I would have create an image just for that. Maybe this is too fancy for a bot.

I am working in many projects, I will think about it when I have some time.

Furthermore, you could have the FeeBuddy robot smiling when next-block fees are below 50 sat/vbyte, "neutral face" when between 50-100, and frowning when above 100.  Cheesy

Yeah, sorry, I wouldn't know how to do it...

Who knows, maybe a year from now it will be all smiles when we see a next-block fee below 100 sat/vbyte... Hope not.

I did add some smiles to some price targets (100-500 and 500+, and less than 10)

I can add to all prices range too
