Yeah, I would be like extraordinary grateful if one of those projects could solve the capacity problem, of course, when you have some spare time .... It would be sad as feebuddy will lose it's "raison d'etre" but probably a lot of people would be happy!
So, when do you think it can be done ?
No back to the fees:
- good news, it seems like they've fallen to the 40sat range and the fomo is starting to fade, or at least the throwing as much money as you can fomo
- also good, the difficulty epoch just finished, -3.8%, so for 14 day we had less 4% capacity,
- bad news the new epoch started also badly, with 15 fewer blocks than normal...
- bad news, the tx till the sweet spot of 10sat/b have again pilled up over 400vMB, a week ago they were at 380vMB
So, probably another 7-14 days of same stuff same fees on the horizon.
probably best for a graphical SVG fee buddy(someone with better graphic design can do, (not my demo)), then be used on the topic OP so it updates from bitmover server with live data..
and have then text updates fee buddy for the 6 hour post bumps for archival purpose
..
we need to get all wallets and nodes to stop bidding minimums above 24sat/b, to instead bid by less. and then get the increments to be 0.1sat/b instead of 5+sat/byte increments (100sat/kb instead of 5000sat/kb)
then we wont see so many idiots jumping from 50s/b-200s/b and instead see base 1s/b jumping a range of 2-8s/b
it needs to become standardised now before the next ATH cycle by having wallets ready for the smaller increments to not incur as much cost when the next 'new bottom market price' of the next cycle multiplies the price compared to now
