It is not easy but it is not good as well, because if a person get good earning with his own knowledge it will give him satisfaction but a person who will try to buy merit and will not work hard it will only spoil his image and people will not like him, so those who are here only to get money and want to buy merit for sake of money should not be welcome here, only hard working and sincere people can make this forum high and will increase knowledge of other people.

For merit to be sale for them on bitcointalk account or it is a really mean. However, if such things now happen
in cryptosystem now it means that the admin of btc have to look into the matter.

Not sure if this is talking about Legendary members in general, or specifically about me, but I'm #11 on the "Most generous merit senders" list. with 998 merits sent. Many active Legendary members give away plenty of merit.

It already started to have that effect I noticed after theymos's implementation of the Merit 'system'. Not exactly the same, but the general idea is the same.

If merit already is for sale, so they will find a way to get merit in a spamming way. Or just have a discussion with themselves, giving merit for nothing.

I could barely dream of obtaining 10 merits to test advanced signatures, but bitcointalk is cruel and only old members have a chance to use all perks.

Another problem is when crypto goes popular there is too many new topics and users. I could understand all this merit system for the best of the forum, but still, have some doubts about its perfection. I'm totally not this kind of user, that will write an academic article and give "very precious advice" to everyone just to earn merit points.

But still how it possible that only legendary members obtain so much merit and don't want to give it away? Why you need soo much? What a genius way to stimulate user activities throughout the greed.

yes of course spamming is almost anywhere , not just on this forum but also to other forums and social media sites as well but spamming or spammers can be easily identified and they will always get punished if they insist to continue thier bad doings . merrits on the other hand can be easily track or identified if someone trades them without any good reason because you can always check the profile of every users here along with their merrit statistics .

deleting inactive users in this forum isnt also a good idea because what if someone is only on a vacation or they do have some important appointment which causes them to be inactive for quite some time . do you get what i mean ?

OP has a good motive but it's funny that he's an account buyer. So that just means he is not true and believe on what he is fighting for. It's not only the buying of merits that should be discourage but also the account buying that encourage a lot of account farming that creates a lot of spamming.

yes you are right this merit should not be sold buy this merit you can get if you have a very good post quality and your post is very helpful or provides the best solution so you can get merit and sentences can also be an influence to get merit.

Yes, it is very cruel, the rules of merit have killed new members to get rank. while old members benefit from getting merit for free. and legendary continues to get merit from anyone.

im also an old member of this form but i dont get free merrits , therfor you cant just say that merrit is only good for old members because not all old members are skillful when it comes to posting a verry good content .

merrit is not for sale at the first place because it is only earned by posting quality or helpful post but the sad part is that there are now too many abusers that abuse the merrit system . they recieved merrit through begging and other illegal activities .

Well according to me it is not a good idea to sell our merit because it is not sold worthy, people are working really hard, it takes good time to see working hard for making our merit high, the more we will search about it the more we will make good post about crypto currency and the more our merit will be high, I am sure this is hard to buy merit because high merit is possible only by working hard and steady.
