they use the same (stratum), so if you have shares accepted, you can remove the solo pool as it was just there to verify your config

I maybe confusing things but pool 0 is the solo de.ckpool.org and pool 1 is my old seting on the shared pool stratum.bitcoin.cz. I have now started a new run from power up on the solo pool and in 42 minutes I have 150 shares accepted so I may leave things like that for a while and try the shared pool again later.

I would like to know if changing the pool got things running, do ckpool and bitcoin.cz use a different protocol to communicate with the miner or something?

That was the donation pool, I have deleted it. I am sure I can put it back if needed. It is just a Pi B running a Minera 0.7.0 image off a MicroSD card, I have done nothing to the install so I hope there is enough free space. I have just tried a solo pool to see if I can get that working.

I set my pool to 'stratum+tcp://de.ckpool.org:3333' and the user to my Wallet address with a password of 'x'

Try to save the settings again and restart, if it persists you have some issue on saving data, check you have disk space.

plus ltc is not BTC, it is scrypt, so the gekko won't be useful.

it's obviously not using stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333

I am using 'stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333' with a user of 'andythw.pi' which works on my U3 and R1 under different worker names.

If this is nt a Minera issue I would like confrmation my miner settings are correct, I am using CGminer 4.x (Official) with no startup options and a delayed start of 20 seconds.

Minera is a monitor, it doesn't do anything apart from reporting.

cgminer/bfgminer does the work.

gekkosticks are for BTC only.

try the solo pool for a while and give us your results...

What pool are you using? It seems you are using a pool with different algo supported. Please check also the logs in the bottom of the dashboard.

Just in case I was being too hasty I ran my 2 gekko sticks over night for 12 hours I have Current Shares of 1106165 but none accepted or rejected. I have looked at the pool and user name again and they look correct. The dashboard for the pool shows no work being dome under that worker name, any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

I have a question. For Gridseed Blade 40 chips will go to this controller? And with Raspberry Pi 3 Model B will work?

so i just got in a Zeus Thunder x6 NX and i have it on and setup and its running well, but i also have a gridseed 5 chip plugged in as well.
The zeus miner is running and i saved the config for the Zeus but how can i run the CGMiner for Zeus AND cpuminer for the gridseed?

Basically i would be running dual miner programs(cgminer and cpuminer or cgminer for zeus and cgminer for gridseed) with two different devices on the same raspberry pi.
I was thinking about adding a new line under the rc.local script but everytime i tried to add the cpuminer under the cgminer config it just cleared it out after i saved.
Any help is appreciated thanks!

minera doesn't support HW.

minera moinitors your mining SW, so it the A4 Dominator uses supported SW, then it'll work.

The A4 Dominator from Innosilicon has started to ship.  Would you be interested in adding the A4 to the supported miners for Minera?
