I will be using LocalBitcoins, if I have 0.5 BTC I can sell up to 85% of that in my own advert then the rest on another person's advert. Is there a way to make a profit this way? Or is 0.5 simply not enough to start with?

0.5 bit it is not enough but it is normal amount, so should try it and guess you can continue trading or not, but the result will tell you, if you can handle trading and make profit than no problem in it, But main problem is that trading is not easy as we think that, when we start it than we know trading is really difficult to make profit from it.

for me, 0.5 bitcoin is enough to start trading because i start trading in only 0.02 bitcoin and so far i make good profit even if i am not yet reach 1 bitcoin at all. but i am sure i can reach it with smart way. for 0.5 bitcoin, i will separate it to buy bitcoin pair altcoin, and bitcoin pair usd.

Trade at your own risk. If you are asking this then I guess you already know the basics of it. Have some more experience in it to gain more knowledge even with just a small amount of money.

"Real" traders usually start with accounts in the 5-6 digits. So I highly doubt that a lower 3 digit account will get you anywhere close to success. With such little money, you can trade for the sake of the experience itself. Learn strategies, get to know the markets, spot opportunities so you're armed in case you once have enough money to start a trading account.

Especially if you're planning to start trading shitcoins, your average losses are likely way higher than your gains, because you're depending on the goodwill of usually only one single pumper. If he decides to make money, you get an opportunity, but even there, the chances of missing out on this are extremely high.

To make any substantial gains using Bitcoin only, you need some breath. Bitcoin is not as volatile as earlier, anymore, and the timeframes between the buy- and sellpoints grow larger and larger.

I do think you have enough amount to start trading in localbitcoins,0.5 bitcoins for the start is more that enough amount to start. Then if you are getting some profit and experience then surely you can increase the amount for trading.
Yeah you are right that .5btc is enough for trading so we can get a high profit by 0.5 Bitcoin easily if we invest it amount in stronger and secure currency then i am sure we can get a good profit easily through trading.

0.5 bitcoins is not bad amount to do for trading, but matter is that if we have a skills of trading, than we can earn profit from our 0.5 amount, And you are right, if we buy stronger currency than definitely it give us profit, but one thing on us, that we never lose the right moment.

As you say that always buy stronger and secure currency, you know recently i bought very strong currency and i was 100% certain, that this currency definitely give me profit, but you know i got lose, the currency down and down, but i hold it because may be after some days ago i will get profit from it.

I don't think that any fix minimum amount is here to start trading, but trading is full of skills work, if you think that you can do it than should try it and better is that start the trading with minimum amount because if you get lose, than you can handle it.
I think the minimum to deposit is more than 10k satoshi.. but you can do only is to buy and you need to pay for a fee.. for every buy altcoin.

But its not enough to start if you are newbie you need to deposit even start in 0.005 just like me before i am started with this amount of btc and make it double until i make it 0.01 with my best way in trading.

An amount as small as 100 euros is small enough to start trading with. For beginning traders I recommend even starting with a small amount. It takes time to get the basics of trading. From my point of view:

1 Dont put your stakes to high

2 sell your coins at the appropriate time, but beware to take profits once you can gain some 'free coins'

That is a good advise but if you are just starting a little amount of capital, I think it is just right not to withdraw when you have a small profit, beside you would not expect to earn big profit with small capital, maybe just roll the amount with your profit so you can grow your coins.

If you have already experience about trading you can start with as much as you afford to lose with trading. But if you re just starter its better to begin with small amount.
yeah the more capital you have to trade the bigger profit you will get
as a notice for a newcomer , learn the non technical of trading first and then try a demo
after you passed it all , do deposit and trade as low as possible amount you can afford to lose as tester
once you done it all , you will understand everything.

Maybe try a derivatives exchange instead. I know bitmex offers a 100x leverage which can be extremely profitable, a 1% rise will mean doubling your initial investment.

if you trading derivates is high risk
if newbie in trading not recomended, because you can lost all money

but i want ask bitmex recomended or not, can open service feature same poloniex and bitfinex or not, lending investment

I suggest you start trading with small amount, like 0.01 BTC or so, just to learn more about trading and getting good experience and knowledge. Then you can invest big amounts in trading without any issue

if your want to trade btc, i think 0.5 btc is enough for get return from trading about 1-10$/day. increase your capital for get more return if you trade btc. but if you trade altcoin 0.5 is more than enough. i feel altcoin can make you get a lot of income more than btc. but of course it's high risk too so be carefully.

BTC0.5 is way too much for someone who needs to start trading with next to no knowledge, so it would be better that they should create some demo account at some sites and try doing something with the play money, and the best thing they can do is, limit the play money to what they are willing to invest and see if it would really be profitable trading such assets???

There is no real minimum. Just the fee for a transaction and some extra (your trading amount). But to really benefit from a coin increase i guess .1 BTC could be defined as the bare minimum to start trading. Anything above that is better.

Well, for a beginner is 0.5 BTC guess it was too much. perhaps for a beginner can start trading from 0.1 BTC, you can learn from it, and when you've mastered how to play the correct trading, you can raise capital bitcoin will you use to play trading. Well, I guess it's better than playing with bitcoin trading lot for starters
If you are beginner trading with small amounts is the way to go, there is no need to risk all your capital when you are a newbie trading altcoins, when you are ready you can trade with bigger amounts.
Starting small amount of bitcoin is a good choice to start learning before you can sacrifice and increase your investment in  trading so that you can make
more profit ..
