well I do not work for the company, but I do have two scrypt miners on order and Marc told me they would be at the Vienna BTC Show next weekend showing off this new machine and he told me it would be mining there so people will be making videos of the unit hard at work and marc told me they would too very soon.

Not hard for a scammer to tell you they will be at some Bitcoin conference or other. It proves nothing at all.

In fact I have seen another scammer use exactly this technique: "I will be at so and so Bitcoin conference next week where you can see my hardware mining". Turned out to be a scam.

Why would anyone pay without first having proof??

SCAM! Stay away from it!

Right they don't appear to have done anything to prove themselves otherwise at this point. But biomechs advice is rock solid. They SHOULD be doing that in order to have some success. But they aren't so likely they are just going to fade away.

so

can we trust this company or not

I would not touch this company with a hundred foot long pole personally.

Typical scammer behaviour, doesn't answer the questions directly and posts bits and pieces of information here and there.

Shows some piece of server like hardware running - who knows what that machine in the Youtube video really is, could be anything.

Only needs one or two suckers to make cash out of such a scam.

Why isn't the miner available on the website? Can you get a closeup with the chips and can we get more details about it? What about a video showing the miner hashrate live and power consumption?

If you have to ask, then dont send your money.

Beside, at these price points, why would any one want to buy mining gear just to hope breaking even?

Buy BTC and you will have greater chance of making profits not just breaking even.

Following this with some interest.

I'd like to offer some advice to you, if you truly are a newbie on this forum. (good advice even if the account is all that's new Cheesy )

This place will get brutal, even if you're 100 percent legit. Not might, will. Do NOT react to this by insulting the trolls/freaks/concerned denizens. You can't tell them apart when emotions get hot.

If you have even a hint of delay, say so about a second after you know about it. This will raise your credibility in this very ugly market tenfold while costing you only time.
If someone wants a refund, give it, regardless of TOS. The positive feedback will give you more credibility, leading to more sales.

DO NOT VANISH!!!

Absolutely the worst thing you can do is stop communicating. Silence is not only not golden, it is the breeding ground of FUD. It will KILL your company. If something is wrong, tell us. We are aware that this is bleeding edge tech. If something unexpectedly goes right, Tell us! Everyone likes good news.

Don't lie. Even if the news is bad/ugly/fatal. You will be found out. Some of the company hunters here don't have any other goal in life. If you're legit, they are your best friend. But they will find EVERYTHING related to you, your company, you ancestry, your prefernces... once pissed off they are like robotic bloodhounds. They don't stop. So if you're legit, they'll help you. If you're not... well, you were warned.

Since the above comes off as a bit unfriendly, let me say that my tone is from having gotten too involved in one of your competitor's threads, and getting my own rep a bit tarnished by association. I personally came out good, but because of me I think some people bought a machine that is unlikely to ever be delivered. Inadvertent on my part, but a shame to me nevertheless. I actually wish you well, given attention to the above.

Hi Forum members,

see this post. YES, we are already in the new Office space since March 1st.
Today even a Litecoin Member visited us! Received a nice Cup of coffee, we had a nice conversation and he will order his Excalibur as he told us.

To clarify why you find Office Space in Funda and even more places....it's 18 Story building and I must admit that we are not able to fill these 18 stories. We will do our best and you never know how big we grow in the future.

So why are we based out of Maastricht?

Because I have the European HQ for all my business in Maastricht for over many years already. The decision for Maastricht Stationsplein was taken years ago, because office space was available for growth of the company. This is the same case for Germany where we have several offices.
Next week we will open at the Stationsplein the new Office for Mining Asics Technologies on the ground floor of the building, so that it will be easy for visitors to find us.

Well it's now march 18th and, office open yet? I see on dutch website Funda in Business that the proposed address is still available:

Mining Asics Technologies B.V.
Stationsplein 8-K
