Also ich denke das Thema ist bis zum Update durch. Hier kommen ja auch keine neuen Blöcke mehr dazu

I like the BC project, but BC is too trusting. BC nodes trust the timestamp of a miner's block. Even worse, BC nodes calculate the difficulty of the next block to be mined as a function of the timestamp of the current block in multiverse. Due to a bug, if the timestamp is in the future, the greater the difference between a BC node's local time and the future timestamp, the larger the difficulty that the BC node will calculate for mining.
For a block that I mine, I can set its timestamp to be a future timestamp. If it is far enough into the future, all other honest BC nodes will calculate a difficulty that is practically impossible to solve. I can then ignore the difficulty calculator and set my difficulty to be low so that I am the only one mining.
My miner address is a throwaway whose NRG I assume will be burnt. This is why I only used one address, which was intentional - My main goal is to bring the issue to BlockCollider's attention so that they fix it, and more importantly write code that trusts other miners as little as possible. It would have been possible to abuse this bug without raising as much attention.
In the cryptocurrency space, we should trust as little as possible and verify as much as possible.
I am currently gainfully and happily employed elsewhere, and do not expect any rewards. In fact, I expect ire. However, if the team and community appreciates what I have tried to do, a few Emblems and an Evangelist spot would be a nice token.
