on This Board i havent the possibility about gen1 and gen2.

have tested it also on a BIOSTAR TB85... Have 2 Splitters. i just got it to work 1 Time on the UD5 to detect 6 Cards. Stucked in OC, after that no more chance to get it up Also tryed all different Ports bla bla bla..... Funny thing is, i get different Errors

but i think the GA-990FXA is simply to old now for this fancy new things

I will ry it also on the Asrock Z97... perhaps it will work here.

But i will not fight till fix already have ordered 2 of the Z270 ^^ including 18 x RX 470

HELL YEAH.

I try since days to get the 1 to 3 Splitter getting working. If i unplug all and just the splitter with 1 cardc is inside, ,im stucking in a Boot-Loop and it kills his selfe with Kernel Panic.

Doenst matter if RX or R version.

could you give me some hints / Tips?

look @ your BIOS.

UEFI settings have to be changed to "LEGACY Only", Also AHCI and EHCI have to be enabled, and if you have the setting in your BIOS the IMMOU Emulator.

this fixed tthe issue on my side.

I'm trying to boot with SimpleMining OS, but it's not working. It stops with the following messages:

Could someone please explain what am I doing wrong? I've flashed the OS to a 16GB USB stick according to manual and inserted it into the rig.

I assume that the problem is not in the rig itself, since it is working finely with windows 10. I'm disconnecting the HDD on which the windows is installed, then putting in the USB drive and then booting. But no luck.

First gpu is the first X1 slot on the board or x16 slot then it counts down

My question is in the picture. What is the value in the field matches what graphics card in rig?

What you think about Kingston DataTraveler SE9 G2 16GB ?

I ran it on a USB but it was slow. It was a USB 2. not 3 key. And not all USB 3 keys are equal. Fast USB 3 keys cost as much as a cheap SSD so I switched to SSD.

Thanks for your help. I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully I will build my mining rig. But for now I'm only using a laptop with a nvidia driver and my os  is win10. Looks good so far. I will strive so hard so that I will have my rig someday.

Hi, I'm using SimplyMining OS some time.
2 days ago my rigs on simpleOS stopped working for the pool ethermine.org (-epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444).
I use miner claymor-eth 8.1 or 9.0. Howewer, If specify the -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 - all works fine.
With -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 - All shares rejected. Though before that everything worked great.
All the same settings on Windows works without problems. The only problem on SimpleOS with a pool ethermine.org. Although, again, everything worked 2 days ago.

I overwrite the image, removed OC settings, waited for some time - but it has not solved the problem.
To change the pool not comfortable, and want to understand what the problem is.
Make sure you have a claymor-eth 9 on pool -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 is working ?

just plug 2 X 1-3PCIe

run on SMOS
3*700+1*750 PSU's
1150/2150 - little lagging after 10 hours. Now trying powerstage 2.
Custom bios on GPU.

Great Job dude. Did you have to make any special changes in the BIOS? Or just plugging in 2 X 1-3PCIe Extenders worked?
This is running SMOS correct? You are using 4 X 750 PSU's to make this work?
Also from the clocks image, I find it very hard to believe that 1150/2150 is stable on a 4GB card with powerstage 1.

not seen, but 1750watt/220V=~8 amps.

how many Amps for this 10 x GPU rig shown on the watt-meter?
