Anyway did you try to set those dpm core to 5 and mem 15 and then save and REBOOT ?
Tell me is after reboot its working ?
Also you are using v1007 ? becasue v1006 hase this bug and RX v1006 is dead end with no updated.


about speeds.
For sure you need to edit your bios in card to get more MH, things to do in polaris bios:
- copy 1500 timing strap to all higher
- set dpm 1 im memory to bigger value like 1800

Then you can overclock under my OS. setting DPM to 4-6 and memory OC to 5-20 %

Real world example of my rigs:
PSU 850 watt bequiet platinum
Motherboard H81 Pro BTC
6x RX470 Gigabyte G1 4GB with 6 usb powered risers
Resuls:
154.2 MH ethereum only
830 watt from wall whole system

And those values will be better becasue i dndt had time to do this.
All GPUs were undervolted by voltage offset -100mv at those clocks:
core 4: 1074Mhz *
memory 1: 1944Mhz *

And i know i could go better but watt efficiency is my goal for now (i have 40 C degree in pure air in one room )


About miners:
If sgminer will be better profitability then clyamore then i will implement it, but guys, tell me this stuff becasue i have already too much work and i cant be online with news

but every time i log into the dashboard i have to click a email. not enough monitoring for me, no real control over what i can do, it's not clocking with my modded bios, it's at 26 mh per card, it should hit 27 mh or better with out overclocking by default on three RX 470, that what i get under win 10 with Claymore @ 27 mh no overclock's and temp well below 74 c per card more like 50 to 65 c . my vram most be cooking at 74 c. i only have two running right now. i was using windows but windows 10 has to many issue with security  it drives you nuts.May try win 7 if i can't get Ubuntu to work how i want .

only thing i adjusted was the fan speed, i don't care to much for Claymore miner but atm it is about the best one to use till sgminer-gm is tweaked better code wise . to be honest i wish Claymore miner reported hw errors like sgminer-gm does id rather see them then be mislead.

I can confirm that RX 1007 is working very well in my rigs
Memory DPM uses highest level + % of overclocking you define in memory field from 0 to 20
And Core DPM also is used as configured in core field in overclocking options. from 0 to 7
In Ethereum mining 4 or 5 DPM state is enough !.
Bigger DPM state = bigger wattage and doesnt mean that it will be bigger MH
So set dpm as low as possible (watching hashrate) it can save you many watts !

It size is only 750 MB but still it requires 7GB pendrive.
I didnt want to make 4GB becasue it could be a problem in future when i would need to make bigger updates like kernel, meaby amd drivers etc...
And 8 GB pendrive is so cheap right now that its no need for making 4GB version ,right ?

RX OS
Current RX v1006:
Due to strange errors and many changes the beta RX v1006 is no longer supported.
Dont worry, if you are mining now with it - it will work but i advice to download RX v1007 and flash it as soon as possible

New RXv1007 image:
The main change is that it doesnt have graphical interface so its much lighter.
Its totally headless interface. When booting you will se text only and after that you will se miner console.
Accualy you dont need anything else when you have simplemining.net dashboard right ?
In later time i will do this console interface with more infos but not in this month - i will now need to focus on ZCASH miner.
Anyway in RX v1007 i fixed memory DPM state to set highest possible + setting core dpm state should now work (in my lab it does )
Plus it starts in headless mode so it should work on more computers becasue i had problem with starting graphical interface when i set in bios as default "Onboard GPU"

R OS
v1007
- small bug fixes, nothing special.
- in near future (not now) this R OS will also be running headless intercafe (text only) - graphical interface will be disabled. So lighter, simpler and less complications.

I tried to fix this problem with setting memory sticked to 300MH but no luck for now.
I will try tomorrow.
As i see i have bug in my script or there is a bug in kernel.
Setting dpm manually to specific value sometimes works and sometimes not, i cant narrow it down.

Also i found few bugs/ problems in RX OS so i need to fix it a soon as possible.

Also if anyone will spot GPU miner for ZCASH - let me know becasue i dont have time to monitor it constantly.

Because this happening when you put values like 1000 / 1700.

Also memory dpm is set staticly to 1.
In polaris it is no problem because there is only 0 and 1 memory dpm.
While in 380 there are 7dmps.....
I will try to look at this today but fix it tomorrow.

Yeah thic oc in RX OS  needs to Be fixed.
Anyway in my pab its working fine but in some cases in other people it doesnt.
So you set oc core to for example 6
And mem to 20 ?
Can you reboot rig? Still doesnt help?

I really like the idea of this OS but it has got a slight problem for me;)
My card is mining only at 300/300MHz making apprx. 4,1 MH/s
Tried overclocking up to 7/20 but no change.

My System:
Sapphire Nitro RX480 4GB  (Elpida memory chips)
Asrock H97 Anniv. mobo with Celeron and 4BG RAM
OS: RX1006

any ideas to get it flying?

no, but the strange thing is on the dashboard it states under GPU info the current clock settings i have set. this only works sometimes tho. maybe its just me or something i am doing wrong?

ever since V1004 and above. i have not been able to initialize ADL interface. comes up with errors on every boot. maybe i have to reinstall something??
