Are the RX470 GPU supported on new v1004 ?

no, there will ve separate line for rx400 su[port , it will be v2000 perhaps.
anyway i have it working but i dont know if there is sense releasing it if overclocking isnt supported in linux (still isnt , we need to wait some more time)

i could but in order to mining there you neeed account.

I only will be using pools where you can enter ethereum address as worker address.

even if you dont switch miners but at least put everyone on the best and most profitable pool

https://ethereum.miningpoolhub.com/
MiningPool Hub!

- Pool fee is 0.9%

ETHEREUM (ETH) POOL, POSTED MAR 18, 2016 AT 04:01 (UTC)
Ethereum pool

1. Mining rewards

Ethereum Mining reward is combination of

(1) block finding reward. 5 ETH
(2) transaction fee (gas spent)
(3) uncle reward (4.375 ETH, 3.75 ETH, 3.125 ETH, 2.5 ETH, 1.875 ETH, 1.25 ETH)
(4) uncle inclusion incentive (0.3125 ETH, 0.15625 ETH)

Uncles are not like orphan blocks. Ethereum rewards uncle mining too to overcome issues from fast block time. It makes little pool to survive, prevents massive forking, hardens security.

We distribute all these 4 types of rewards. Many pool pays uncle reward but most of them don't pay other rewards.

and the ability to change pools to the most profitable? also with a miner that is not pay for play? like the new sgminer-gm with eth?

i started implementing sgminer-gm its in the /root/miner/sgminer-sg
but didnt had time to finish it due to different config managment.

There will be my pool with fee 0% for another few months.
I just have to make one Tongue

v1004 Update:
- added new miner option (mining eth only) without siacoin
- i give you guys root password: miner1324
(i dont advice to touch anything or change anything because i if you broke something then i wont help Smiley - it is mostly for debug purpuses or some rare cases when you need to install something
user login info: miner/miner
root login info: root/miner1324

Will we see any voltage control in the overclock settings?
Maybe something along the lines of wattman?

from 2 days i am 100% focusing how to mine rx480 with full hashrate and also with undervolting (in linux). Its very hard... becuase there are no avaible tools for undervolting under linux with rx400 series

anyway, i will integrate sgminer for sure, and meaby ethminer as well.
only rason there is claymore is:
a) it was best when i released distro
b) i dont have time right now to focus on development, i need to pass ubuntu and rx480 and solve few issues, then make few mor rigs for my and my clients and then i could spend more time on simplemining os.

anyway about changing pools ....

there are 2 ways.

a) only my poools will be available (and in future there will be very easy to take 2-3% for my service from this pool)
b) open system for all pool but how will i get my fee (someday when OS will be stable enough) - will be there upfront payment ?
it is hard because i cant do 1$/month for each rig because one rig will have 1 gpu and other will have 6 gpus or more ....

again, i dont want make bad decision and regret that in future Tongue
whad do you think guys ? meaby i should do little survey and ask all my users how do they prefer to pay little fee in future: my own pool fee or some depositing...

once again, when i open pools for changing then it will be like this:
- pool fee
- my fee
- meaby miner fee (as it was now with claymore miner)

and now user cant pay 3 times fee Tongue - it would be best to pay only one, and that will happen only if he will be using my pool and that will be only one fee to pay ....
thats why i dont want to open pool change - anybody agree with me ? or disagree ?

100% compatibility cannot be integrated into any operating system! by blocking the ability of installing what works for the individual your blocking many people from using this distro! example;the guys modem, or two identical gpus bought at different times in different stores, while one is one a reference card build of that particular gpu the other is not, ram changes and also the exact functions change for overclocking, but if you block this then one will work or the other will be low hashrate! the best way to avoid huge mishaps would be in my opinion is to use a update script and not do it automatically. update the system apart from the miners also is preferable.another example would be giving people the choose to use claymore's or the sgminer on choice! simply because if i would prefer to use a different miner instead of the one your making us use it might not be one that i am interested in and that is when i stop using your distro! keep the formate your using because it seems to be doin ok but open it up and alow a larger part of the community to even help in the development! im sure some really raunchy devs would love to dig in and destroy the copy you release. just like i have to actually find out what was in it and for info reasons! doing that on computers offline and you will never know it ever happened but it is inevitable that it will happen! and on the rare occasion there will be someone that actually is able to fix a bug and sharing it will help everyone!

once you release the passwords for the system ... simply make it very clear that any changes is on the responsibility of the owners of the rig and  not yours. so if they make any changes then its their fault and responsibility to find a way to fix it, or start fresh and not mess with it but it is their choice!

i have dilema because i could give root password accually because i have nothing to hide and if somebody dont want use my simpleos he will find ubuntu anyway.
Anyway, when some people will install and some stuff and i will make new auto update which will perhaps upgrade linux kernel then modem you just installed could simply stop working Sad
Then you will be angry that i pushed uto update and some other people....
And i know now that there is so much changes in krenel with amdgpu driver that upgrades will be from time to time.
My concept was to make auto-update system which in some cases could fuck up the rig.
(for example internet from usb modem will stop working)
I could give root password but i dont want anybody telling me that something custom of his stopped working.
What do you think ?

All current updates were only updating my custom scripts (to be compatible with new database schema on website simplemining.net.
So most updates wont do damange but when i will do separate system and my scripts updates then in future there could be mess...

I would like to do this the proper way and not to regred my decision in half year.
Anybody have an idea how to make it right ?

Beside that i can release root password becasue "AmoreJaz" made me understand some things.
Ok, so because this password has parts of my other passwords, i will make update which will change root password on all rigs and then i will tell you what it is  Smiley

You can do better (and go higher on the memclock) without using the editor, but by doing it right.

Let me guess, hex editor + higher VDDCI? But doing that at runtime is wow *offset intensifies*
