4 months is really nothing compared to goliaths in the casino business. Most of them have been around for years now and they have built that number up because they were one of the first, now there has been hundreds of casinos since those first ones came up, so of course people are sticking to the old ones instead of trying new ones which sounds risky to them.

Yes, we are getting some users and I love the fact that mintdice team cares about marketing because that is the most important part of running a casino but do not expect it to be huge all of a sudden. It will take some years to become as big as the other huge ones, which is expected because how can a casino be in existence for 4 months and be great when there are ones who have been around for 2+ years, so it will take time but it will get there.

Yeah, marketing is important, but not all casinos have a vast amount of budget for marketing. Moreover, I think they are not satisfied yet with the MVP (current product) and want to improve the site first before adding marketing programs. IMO that's why MintDice decided to scale back its signature campaign to be more efficient in this building process.

For now we are mostly building and improving. Having said that, this doesn't mean we do not work on drawing in new people at all.
I do admire the tenacity of the improvements and fixes on the website first before tackling any attraction for customers. I personally like that because if I ever want to play in a casino that has poor performance and slow graphics or something, I wouldn't even come back there. So for the focus on the site, a great job, and I think customers will follow next. Keep up the great work. I see people increasing in the Telegram Group, so I guess it's a good sign.

It is your 4th month since you came to this forum but there is still so low number of player who are wagering regularly. How much have been wagered so far?
While most other sites are competing to each other by offering something back to players, but I see that mintdice is not really showing any progresses.
I know mintdice is focusing more to improve the site, but I think mintdice should try to have more active players who play regularly. Anytime I check the site there is always 1-2 online users only, it is just unfortunate IMO while you have some interesting games, good interface, good marketing (sign campaign), but you have low number of active players.

Naturally we also like to see a higher number of players. But as we have explained before we currently concentrate our efforts on building and improving our site, which will include mobile versions of our existing games. Furthermore we are working on brand new games. To our opinion, improving our product and fixing problems should be the highest priority. We want to deliver a solid product before focussing efforts and funds on attracting more people (through campaigns etc.). Just like Tytanowy Janusz has explained.

For now we are mostly building and improving. Having said that, this doesn't mean we do not work on drawing in new people at all. But step by step. Our daily hours and funds have limits Wink

The best way to build long term value (and the most honest one) is to create product that everyone want to use. That's why mintdice is focusing to improve site, provably fair mechanism, games.

Promotions and loud marketing boost number of active gamblers only for short term if the product is poor.

good marketing (sign campaign)

There are only 15 bitcointalk users that are promoting the site with total of 500$ weekly payout.

After logging in today, I'm about to post this:
Quote from: me
Why does my bet, deposit, withdrawal history were wiped?
Actually, everything including my super "special" referral link, it was reset to my username and lastly my play money was gone too.

I've been absent for a while after my last withdrawal and when I logged in today, it didn't accepted my username (I logged in using my email and password).
Everything looks like a new account and I didn't registered a new account.
But after about 3-5minutes, the data were updated.
New question, why is it slow? Those data should be displayed in an instant Undecided
I mean, the page quickly loaded without any errors but the account data was delayed for some reason, so the problem isn't my browser.

I don't really have an answer for you. I can tell you that on our 2.0 version of the website coming with the mobile compatibility and others that, among other things, performance and lag issues should be better, if not non-existent, relative to whatever is experienced today.

I'm not exactly sure on the timing for the release of this product, but I'll estimate ideally within the next 4-6 months.

So I have been sitting at a client waiting for an installer to show up just playing around here.
Still like the games and the casino. Fun and fast and quick withdraws when you win.
Yeah, I'm wearing their sig but it's still one of the places I play, I just have not been posting in this thread about it.

It, among other things, will introduce a more comprehensive Provably Fair mechanism for our present games.

Interesting. I'm not an expert but current system (client seed, server seed and online repository with calculation method) gives 100% fair result (to my knowledge). What can be improved with this other than making it more user friendly for newbie users?

I, myself, am not an expert in how Provably Fair works either to be honest. I understand the surface level stuff but not the finer details. I just know that our system is not entirely complete, and it will be soon enough. One thing that I do know has been a legacy problem is proving that the Plinko-Dice are registering fairly. Presently, any dice in Plinko that lands on a 6 doubles it's prize, but we have no public facing mechanism proving this to users (though I can promise you it is using Provably Fair tech on the backend anyway).

Our future games will require Provably Fair mechanisms in all sorts of situations since we are doing everything in our power to make things as transparent as possible and so the architecture that has been built will support the new demands. Related to this, if after this release or the release of our future games, if there is any mechanism people would like to see or have us put into place to increase our overall transparency, we are more than happy to accommodate if the request is valid, so keep that in mind.

Seuntjie would be a great addition for some people, I am not one of those people because I don't really understand the purpose of a bot to do my gambling, I like to gamble myself and have fun myself, a bot gambling for me means I am both going to lose my money (even with bot, you can't beat the house edge) and not even have fun gambling so I find it useless. However there are TONS of people who love it, so we will definitely see a sudden influx of many people coming in and playing here, which is awesome for the investors as well.

Plus, the new provably fair getting out of the way would mean the next stop is new games and I love new games, doesn't matter what it is, I will definitely try it a bit and try to have some fun because playing the old games gets a bit boring after a while and a new fresh game is awesome.

I personally agree with you, I don't like autobetting in my gambling experiences, I enjoy being physically present and enjoying the games manually, but it doesn't really matter what either of us like. I can tell you that tons of people prefer autobetting or bot-betting, and ultimately, we are trying to please every single person as best we can Smiley

Glad to know about the partnership and congrats Mintdice team and staff. This additional feature will surely give another satisfaction to the gamblers to use Mintdice. Seuntjie dice bot is one of the most very well known and trusted Autobot tools for auto betting. This may give courage to other gamblers to visit the Mintdice site for those who want to use this tool for autobet.

Thank you for the update and very excited about the Pyramid feature. Cheesy

A new website update should be coming relatively soon, the target is for this weekend. It, among other things, will introduce a more comprehensive Provably Fair mechanism for our present games and more robust features for our more complicated games that we will release in the future. This should allow us then to partner with highly trusted individuals in BitcoinTalk such as Seuntjie to expand functionality and trust.

Following this update, our next major update is mostly geared towards the release of Pyramid and our Rain program setup.

It is nice to see that this dice site is continuously developing their gambling site. Offering more options to its players. Also, I noticed that their support staff here is actively addressing issues or questions even if some are asked many times.  Tongue

That's great news! Coming from me, who is a user of Seuntjie dice bot. Being incorporated into the bot would mean a lot of the users could do their scripts and play more in MintDice. Thanks for the update, can't wait for the skill-based games.  Cheesy

You already get comment from Mintdice administration. Are you a spam-bot who does not read previous posts?
That's how you would know if the person behind that account really reads or comprehends what they are reading. Probably just skimming through replies and posts whatever is in his mind. That's probably why his reputation is like that now. Below is what probably comes to his mind immediately seeing a new online casino.

GP: A new casino, let's check license
GP: They are running a signature campaign *automatically = spam bots*

Can the MintDice administration comment on paying spam bots?

As pointed out by others, your question did receive an answer from us. See below.

Why do you pay signature spam bots to represent your brand?

For starters, calling them "spam bots" is probably not justifiable. If you can show me any spam bots, I'd be delighted to remove them for low quality content.

If you want an honest answer as to why it's happening, it's one of many tactics we are using to build brand awareness since we are a fairly new website. Additionally, engaging with the community is helpful as BitcoinTalk has been a very useful tool in identifying things that they would like to see as our project develops. The signature campaign accelerates this aspect and pays some indirect dividends to us through this and other ways.

Ignore doesn't really work with GP, I tried and for all accounts it was a great idea but than people started to respond to him, either there was quotes or there was something I didn't make sense from the answer so I had to unignore him to see what he wrote that people responded.

It is just annoying really, he doesn't even come up with anything logical anywhere he goes, he just asks for stuff thinking he has some sort of right to get answers, he doesn't realize the fact that nobody needs to answer any of his questions, dude doesn't get a response 99% of the time neither, he just asks and than asks again and thinks he will get an answer eventually but he never does, after a while its really sad to look at, we have a member in btctalk that literally acts a bit crazy thinking people give attention to him and respect him whereas people literally unified all together to hate him. Let's hope we don't breed a Joker.

Are you sure you know what "spam" is? I mean you are basically doing a thing that hundreds of people on this forum has opposed, which is you are a scammer who scam the naive, and you think that is a spam? You may send us the proof with "hundreds of mails sent back and fourth" but that doesn't changed the fact that h4ns has an open scam accusation against you, how could you even claim that you didn't scam him and try to show proof of how you didn't while the guy literally has an open scam accusation in your trust rating.

You can definitely claim otherwise when others say it but when the guy who claims you scammed him says it, you need to first convince him not us, we are just bypassers here, it is h4ns that got scammed and he STILL claims he lost, so go apologize to him and tell him to remove his claim first, if not then you are by all means a scammer and that is not a spam.
