With the results we are seeing from One FC in the past where UFC prospects were defeated and today Demetrious Johnson lost his first fight in his career via knockout, it looks like they have some serious competition as many of the UFC champions who signed which i thought was a good decision so that they could dominated the division but they were instead defeated.

Eddie Alvarez was on the fight card and he was disqualified, not seen much of a foul to get the fight disqualified and may be referees are strict over there.

Yes it's true, all ex UFC fighters lost their fights and someone could make great money betting against Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez.
What I like for ONE championship is that there is no weight cuts and dehydration like in other organisations, so you are fighting at your real weight.
You can watch this event and all fights on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkhCuW1cDAQ

Small reminder that BELLATOR 256 is back tomorrow with big main event fight Bader vs Machida.

How was it?  I wasn’t able to watch it.  And I’m guessing most matches were wrestling heavy kinda like the UFC back in the day, around 10 years ago with fighters based in the US..?  It’s turning out that Russian wrestlers are pretty good too.

I didn't watch all the fights but I liked what I saw and it all looks similar like UFC but in Russian, there was even some crowd in the arena.
Artur Guseinov vs Brazillian Marcio Santos was most interesting fight for me and there was atleast one or more Nurmagomedov students fighting in this event.
You can check their youtube channel were they uploaded most of the fights I think:

Yeah..  Russian based fighters are on the rise.  Check out Khizriev at UFC this weekend.  He’ll be fighting Kyle Daukas, Chris Daukas’ younger brother.  I got a small bet on the Russian at 1.87.  He looks solid with the grappling, wrestling and has really fast, hard kicks.

Does anybody know where we could stream the EFC live?  It’s Khabib’s promotion.  I thought it was gonna be in UFC Fight Pass but it isn’t.  I don’t think it’s gonna be in YT either.

These Russian dude look tough.  Tougher than the KSW guys.

Interesting news and I didn't know that Khabib became the boss now  Cheesy
I bet Dana White will still work with him and bringing fighters to UFC directly from EFC, and it's no wonder if we see all Khabib cousins winning everywhere they fight including Bellator.
This will probably include all fighters from ex soviet union, and I am not sure about live stream but I think it will be available on some sport channels posted in image below.

ONE Championship is having their first event broadcasted today on American television network TNT 1 and this is their biggest event ever with big names like Demetrious Johnson fighting with Adriano Moraes for Flyweight Championship.
Second big name is ex UFC fighter Eddie Alvarez fighting against Iuri Lapicus in Lightweight category.
I found this event on Betnomi website and both Eddie Alvarez and Demetrious Johnson are big favorites but keep in mind that Brazillian Adriano Moraes is current Flyweight champion in ONE.

Ryan Bader is heavy favorite by bookmakers and I can't see Machida surprising him, especially coming from two loses and at his 42 years but last time in 2012 Machida was better and won.
Bader is younger and overall better fighter and I expect him to fight in semi-finals against Corey Anderson next who needs to defeat Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov on April 16th.
The game plan of Ryan Bader is simple, wrestling take down and ground and pound and i have not seen a Lyoto Machida fight in a really long time and even i am hoping Ryan Bader to win this easily unless he gets caught by some nasty front kicks when he level changes for a take down  Cheesy.

Current champion of division is Russian Vadim Nemkov who was better than Bader last time so we may see rematch in final if he wins Phil Davis and probably Yoel Romero next.
Surprisingly Bellator has a much better Light Heavy Weight division than the UFC as they have Phil Davis, Yoel Romero, Vadim Nemkov their champion and Ryan Bader and now Anthony Rumble Johnson

MMA is back this weekend and one day before UFC we have big fight between Ryan Bader and Lyoto Machida in Bealltor 256 Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix Tournament.

One more interesting fight is with ex UFC/PFL fighter Jeremy Kennedy and Hungarian Adam Borics who only have one lost fight so far in his MMA carrear.
Kennedy is slight favorite but I need to watch some Borics fights to know more about him.

It was expected win in first round for Pitbull in Bellator main event with guillotine choke, and he could be fighting with A.J. McKee next for featherweight grand prix final.
Usman Nurmagomedov also won like we all got used to from all Khabib cousin fighters from Dageszan, Russia Smiley

Bellator 255 is starting in one day and it is going to be interesting with main event Patricio Freire vs Emmanuel Sanchez.
We have two more Khabib cousins Usman Nurmagomedov fighting against Mike Hamel, Magomed Magomedov vs Cee Jay Hamilton, and it will be nice event to watch as UFC is taking a break this week.
I am a big fan of Patricio Freire and his fighting style and i do think that if he was in the UFC he would have been a much bigger super star and i will not bet against him and Usman Nurmagomedov is another talent the Khabib family is grooming.

Other big news from Bellator is that Fedor Emelianenko will fight next and Junior Dos Santos or Alistair Overeem are next on the list.
Fedor Emelianenko should have retired and never return, right now we are not even seeing the old legend who dominated everyone and age is a real factor and a match up against Junior Dos Santos will be awesome and i do think that JDS could knockout Fedor and retire him for good  Cheesy.

Other match ups i am looking forward this week is OneFC where the Muay Thai legend Rodtang Jitmuangnon will be fighting and i would like to see his ground game and Eddie Alvarez is fighting but not sure about his opponent and Demetrious Johnson defending his belt.

^  I heard Jason Jackson is pretty good too.  Dunno...  But he trains at Sanford MMA with Gilbert Burns, Michael Chandler and some other good guys under Henri Hooft.

The card has a lot of huge favorites that look parlayable.  Hmmm..

I didn't watch him so far, but he is originaly coming from Jamaica and has interesting nickcname The Ass-Kicking Machine Smiley
Neiman is slight favorite at bookmakers, he has only one defeat aso far and I see he is a submission specialist, so this should be interesting fight to watch.
Prelims are starting in few hours so get ready for watching.

Neiman is also someone to watch out for, 2 degree BJJ black belt from Renzo Gracie academy, his only loss came from Rory MacDonald, and there is no shame to that, Rory is a beast. Neiman is fairly inactive when it comes to BJJ, but that happens with a lot of BJJ competitors that try to do MMA and BJJ professionally at the same time. I always wanted to see someone from the Gracie clan and somebody from the Nurmagomedov clan go at it.

Regarding the fights themselves, I would recommend you take a look at One championship, especially their upcoming ONE ON TNT I and the other TNT upcoming fights. As the organizations are getting bigger and more financially backed, there is less and less reason to lock at it as a potential for fighters who can transfer to the UFC, but as a great outlet to see what former UFC competitors can do in other organizations (Rory MacDonald, Demetrious Johnson, Eddie Alvarez, Paige Van Zant to name a few)
One Championship is in my radar because i lost a few bets betting on fighters that went from UFC and then getting defeated like Eddie Alvarez and Sage Northcutt getting a brutal knockout and Demetrious Johnson who never had any real competition in the UFC got his hands full with two good opponents.

Rory MacDonald is in Bellator and i do follow them but i am yet to watch any PFL or KSW fights nor have any idea about their fighters.

Actually, Rory is in PFL as of late 2019, after he lost his Bellator belt to Lima. PFL has had a bit of an inactivity period due to the pandemic, but the is scheduled to fight on April 29 of this year against David Michaud. I honestly don't know anything about his opponent, but all the better, maybe it turns out to be a good fight.

A bit late with this one, I thought someone would already post it Cheesy Well, here are the results of this past KSW event. The Polish fighters had a really good night, only Stošić was able to get one on them. I guess they had some wind in their sails following Jan Błachowiczs title defense in UFC. There were no victories via submission this time, guess the Polish fighters prefer their stand-up.
