PFL is back with new event PFL5 and main event Rory MacDonald vs Gleison Tibau in Welterweight category and both of them are ex UFC fighters but they never been together in octagon before.
Rory MacDonald is a huge favorite like odds are showing and he has big reach advantage and he is a lot younger than Gleison Tibau.
Co-main event in classical USA vs Russia and I would give slight advantage to Russian Nikolay Aleksakhin who is in great run, but Ray Cooper III should not be underestimated and I expect to see KO in this fight.
Fights are starting in less than 24h and they are a nice warm up for upcoming UFC fight with Korean Zombie vs Dan Ige.

One more win for Yaroslav Amosov in Bealltor 260 against Douglas Lima and with his perfect 26-0 record I could see him in UFC some time in future and he could be a good addition for Welterweight division.
Next event is on June 25th Bellator 261: Tim Johnson vs Valentin Moldavsky

Betfury launched sports betting recently and added MMA (UFC and EFC). Check their odds. You need to open the different pages to see all matches.
Very interesting to see one more crypto betting websites adding MMA betting events, but I think that I never used Betfury website so far.
Now I need talk with them to organize some nice promotion and competition for our Bitcointalk MMA community. Smiley

I guess as the sport is growing more and more, so will the gambling sites take interest (and they do), and then the crypto betting sites should catch up. I would love to see some promo and comp on this forum, so if you can do it by any chance, the community thanks you Smiley

Bellator 260 preliminary fights just started and main fight will be for welterweight title between Douglas Lima and Yaroslav Amosov.
Odds are showing small advantage for Douglas Lima but anything can happen in this fight especially if you see perfect 25-0 record for Ukraininan challenger Amosov.
Alex Polizzi just won the fight against Gustavo Trujillo in prelims, and there are few more interesting fights to watch as warm up for big fights in UFC tomorrow.

Anthony Pettis canceled his participation in PFL4 event because of illness and Alex Martinez will fight against Brazilian Natan Schulte.
Event is starting in soon and there are still some interesting fights that should not be missed like Bubba Jenkins vs Bobby Moffett.
My main picks are Claressa Shields and Bubba Jenkins to win.

I was surprised to see Showtime  Pettis being so low on the rankings. I was expecting more. In contrast, Rory Mac is doing really good right now. I can't really tell how good other PFL fighters are when compared to former UFC fighters, is it that they are just that good or that the ones that transitioned to PFL are just on the tail end of their careers.

Boxing champion Claressa Shields is fighting against Brittney Elkin in her first professional MMA fight, this will be vlassical boxing vs grapling fight. and on same card we have well known Anthony Pettis vs Alex Martinez.
PFL is currently second best MMA organization after UFC and I think they handled things better in previous years than Bellator and this event is worth watching.
PFL 4 is starting in 3 days on June 10

I have seen that Rory MacDonald is preparing to start a fight camp for PFL. Don't really know what their tournament angle is, but I always enjoy watching him perform. And it's good for PFL that it attracted such names to the organization.

I just found crypto betting website that added KSW61 event and that is Stake.com who is known for sponsoring UFC and 3 of their fighters including Adesanya.
So far they only have winners market but we have few more days and I am hoping to see win by KO/TKO and fight not to go to distance.

I am not mad at that. Bareknuckle is finally getting some traction since it's been deemed safe with some commissions. It will take some time for it to weed out a bunch of organizations so that the major players can come to the top. I wouldn't be surprised if the UFC put some money in those stocks...
Maybe it's fun to watch but their hands will be destroyed much quicker, so we can't expect to see fights so often because they need more time to recover.
Why do you think people introduced gloves in boxing and other fighting sports? Only to protect hands.

It appears that other UFC fighters started to follow what Khabib is doing so Jorge Masvidal created his own bareknuckle MMA promotion called Gamebred Fighting Championship that will kickoff on June 18 in Biloxi, Mississippi.
VanZant and Dan Lambert will be commentators and main event is going to be fight Jason Knight vs Charles Bennett.

There was some changes in KSW61 with Silva being out from fight against Kita so ex UFC fighter Darko Stosic jumped in on short notice to fight in this heavyweight clash.
This event is starting in less than seven days and it will be the first MMA event in Poland that will have full crowd after all this corona restrictions.
I can't find any crypto betting website that added this event for betting.

https://www.kswmma.com/

I wonder how full crowds will go in Europe as opposed to the US: Different mentality, especially from people in Florida where UFC had their first show. But similar experiments have been conducted with concerts, weddings and such so it was bound to happen sooner or later. Let's see how it will turn out.

Cyborg is a remnant of an old guard in MMA that can't compare to new fighters and their skill set. She was a factor to take into account, but she fought in a minor league that was Invicta and when she stepped into the UFC, her opposition was not the best that we would think of in women's MMA. I really don't see any reason for a Nunes rematch. Can't see any other result than the one from the first fight.
Cris Cyborg is in a weight division that is not yet developed in MMA as you cannot find many talents 145 pound fighters and whenever she wants to gets a fight someone usually moves up from 135 pounds to compete with her and naturally they end up loosing and for over a decade there was no one that challenged Cris Cyborg in terms of striking and Amanda Nunes stepped up she was confident that she could overcome like the rest of her other opponents but the power was the difference.

If you look at that fight between Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg you knew that who ever connecting the first punch would win the fight and it was Amanda Nunes that was able to connect and since both do not have any parallel competition in their respected division i would like to see that rematch.

I understand that pickings are slim, but nothing prevented her from cutting weight and going into a lower weight class. It's hard to imagine that her current weight class will ever be full of fighters, let alone good fighters, and women work best in the lower weight categories, well, most of them at least. Sure, it sucks being a large lady like Gabby Garcia and not having much competition, but being one of a few does not make you the best, it just makes you the best of a few.

Interesting news coming from ONE championship organization and their CEO Chatri Sityodtong as they are expanding to Europe with new tournament Road to ONE
hosted in many European countries like Netherlands, Germany, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, and other countries.
It's going to be challenge to make this happen in only one country and much harder to happen in many countries with current conditions without crowd and with restrictions.

^  Then there’s Amanda Nunes.  Grin  But yup, she could prolly beat some lower tier fighters in the same weight class.  Lol.  Not only can she beat a man, she also actually could look like a man.  Wasn’t it Dana White who said that Cyborg looked like Wanderlei Silva with braids?  Cheesy

The same person, prove me wrong Cheesy

And still... Cris Cyborg dominated in Bellator 259 main event fight against Leslie Smith and won by TKO in the last round, and she did similar thing like they meet each other in UFC back in 2016.
She is probably one of the best women featherweight fighters in the world and even some man would lose in fight against her.
Cris Cyborg is a legend and i would love to see the rematch between Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg but Dana White did not want to give her the rematch and so is the reason Cris Cyborg asked for her release from the UFC, She would defeat any other MMA women fighters except Amanda Nunes and they are dominating the Women's division.

Next Bellator event is scheduled for June 11 with welterweight fight Douglas Lima vs Yaroslav Amosov as main event.
Amosov have perfect record with 25 wins and he is only 27 years old.
I am rooting for Douglas Lima to win the fight, i am yet to see Yaroslav Amosov fights and i am hoping this to be a good contest.

Great fight card is coming in lightweight category PFL on June 10 with main event Anthony Pettis vs Alex Martinez but there are other interesting fights on same card.
Ex UFC fighter Sheymon Moraes is fighting against Russian Movlid (Killer) Khaybulaev with almost perfect record of 16 wins and 1 no contest.
