Thanks dude, it works good yet my hashrate are still low. I guess i will have to reinstall properly my driver in order to have my hrate back to their level before Spectre update.

^^^ The Ethereum DAG is too big with those old cards. They have enough RAM but it's another issue that causes the hashing speed to slow almost in half. ETC has the same issue.
Mine a newer coin with a smaller DAG like MUSIC, UBQ, EXP, PIRL, ELLA, etc. and you'll get 25 MH/s. 30 MH/s with those mining straps.

Anyone experience with R9 380 ? I have 6 cards ( Sapphire Nitro and MSI ) and I dont know what`s wrong with bioses. I see on forum, people who get 25 mh/s on ETH with this cards.
I use hex editor and I copy string from 1500 MHz and put on 1625 MHz and 1750 MHz ... no success !
After that, I found some strings on "google" and I test few ... I found only one who works fine with Elpida and Hynix memory ( about +2 mh/s )

stock bios it does 280 hash, i put 1250 strap at 1750 strap and put memory at 1850 mhz, and got arround 380 hash.
You can probally do better then this, i tried one strap lower and the card would lockup, but ya, i only tried copy paste lower straps into higher ones.

another tricky part is im using msi afterburner to set the memory clock to 1150, but it still run over the afterburner momory clock limit up to 1300mhz, and cause gpu hang. any solution to solve this? =)

Did you try to unlock rx550 8 CU'S into rx550 10 CU'S yet?
There isn't one in the Aug beta blockchain drivers. Don't worry.

I have searched all over the places for MSI RX570 8GB OC ARMOR with Hynix memory modded bios that will get a rate of 28-30 Mh/s. Do you happened to have this modded bios? I tried several mod files but not of them increased from the 24Mh/s I get from the original bios. I see a bunch of modded bios for the 4GB GPU and other RX570 but nothing on the MSI RX570 8GB OC ARMOR. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

I do not see that option to switch to compute workload on AMD. I am using the Blockchain driver from Aug 23. Am I suppose to see the option to select compute?

The new RX550 (Lexa Pro) has 10 CU, but I only can find cards with 1500MHz VRAM. Not good for mining.
But maybe we can unlock the old RX550 with the fast VRAM
.Please upload the VBIOS !

If your card has memory heat sinks and a good fan then I can do a 550 mod, I'm doubtful it will work with the windows drivers though. The Linux beta mining drivers do support modded 550's.

i can put a custom heatsink on it and memory heatsinks, i did it on another rx550 it doesnt gets over 45C while mining.

This Sapphire pulse 4GB of mine has 10 CU, i have the memory running at 1850 mhz, i can get 385 hash out of it, more then the 300 hash i get from gigabyte rx550 2gb with 8 CU.
Could it be a rx560 with 4 CU'S disabled?
