Are there any companies that are also developing AI software for hotels?

Many of them. Its quite competitive market.

Your idea is great, but also very complex.

Integrating blockchain and AI into the hospitality industry will be a very complex and lengthy process.

Blockchain component is ready, while AI will be developed according to Roadmap timeline.

Blockchain and AI could bring new outstanding results

Hotels are complicated operations with many different tiers of systems, and although AI is being integrated into individual hotel operations and chains, it isn’t fully utilized.

By combining artificial intelligence’s learning and predictive abilities with a blockchain’s decentralized and secure protocols we uncover something new: taking the guest experience to the next level. That’s exactly what Modihost brings to the hospitality industry.

AI-powered suggestions to help customers have more fulfilling, flawless hotel experiences – Using hotel metrics and information gathered in the past on a customer, the AI attempts to make accurate suggestions to users. If the proposal is acted upon by the user and the user’s actions match the algorithm’s predictions, success. However, if the user reads the suggestion but doesn’t act on it, it triggers an evaluative process that reanalyzes the factors leading up to the suggestion.

Fair payment system using blockchain – Hotels exist to make a profit, and companies like Modihost exist to help those hotels make more profit while making a profit themselves. A hotel using Modihost services will pay on a per-use schedule, all of which is tracked on a blockchain for immutable fairness.

There are two key streams of income for Modihost: pool fees and data sales. Pools exist on a blockchain to help hotels use Modihost without having to buy tokens upfront. Hotel is paying a small premium (determined by the pool) to ‘borrow’ money for an extremely brief time. The pool fee is split by Modihost and the owner of the pool, which encourages investors to buy tokens and create pools to start earning commission on fees.

Modihost also generalizes private data to be packaged and sold to interested companies. Imagine that Hotel Z is performing poorly in the offseason, so they put a query into the Modihost system for specific trends regarding the poorly performing months. Using anonymized data, Modihost responds by selling Hotel Z generalized analysis of guests’ ages, genders, country of origin, preferred language, and more.

Hotel Z uses this data to run specific promotions, change its staff to better suit its guests’ needs, or create a special referral bonus aimed at key target groups.

How many hotels do you plan to connect to ModiHost in the next couple of years?

I think it will depend on the success of the launch in the first hotel

Will ModiHost software work on Linux or Windows?

We developed Modihost as a SaaS. It is browser-agnostic, it will work on any major OS.

Three hotels using robots and AI

The age of AI is dawning, and the technology is spreading more in-depth into our lives. The first hotels to implement AI in their operations are already here, making their guests’ stay more comfortable and carefree. For now, it is AI chatbots that do the majority of the work, but you can also find real robots among hotel employees!

Rose – an artificial intelligence concierge.

The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas was one of the first in the hospitality industry to adopt a virtual AI concierge. Her name is Rose, and she is a chatbot ready to answer your questions 24/7, and with a sense of humour to boot!

Rose can help out guests with anything related to the hotel, establishments nearby and she can even order pizza to your room, even if it’s 3 a.m.

Edward chatbot

Radisson Blu Edwardian in London and Manchester can also witness and enjoy an AI concierge at work. Similar to Rose, Edward was created to make the stay at the hotel as humanly as possible. And if there is something Edward finds unable to accomplish, he will connect you to a human operator.

Concierge robot at Hilton

Connie, a concierge robot, has made its debut at the Hilton McLean in Tysons, VA. Named after the brand’s founder, Conrad Hilton, the robot is half a meter tall and can answer hotel-related questions and even give directions with its tiny arms.

The main task, Hilton representatives say, was to get rid of customer pain points such as waiting in line to ask an employee a simple question. Are you looking for a restaurant or a restroom? Just ask the robot.

There is no doubt these are small steps on the path to AI adoption in hotels, but every long journey starts with the first step, and we are sure that in the next few years AI will become an essential tool for the hospitality industry.
