Roadmap update

I have changed the roadmap layout in splitting the development aims into "SHORT TERM", "MEDIUM TERM" and "LONG TERM" and I am trying to update the individual aims. This seems a more appropriate strategy then to have tight deadlines that may not be met for various reasons.

ROADMAP

Nice Thing Dev., I see it goes before...
I can not complain...
I'm curious how it goes uphill again with MOJO, and I'm sure that will happen when all the Problems are solved!

I think you should do a snapshot of MOJO1 blockchain after livecoin swapping to prevent losses for users which don't track this thread.
And then you should create same addresses in MOJO2 blockchain with same balances.
Then users can get a private key from MOJO1 wallet and get access with this private key to corresponding address of MOJO2.

Do you have any way to protect such users? Who buy and hold without read news.
Sorry for English.

ROADMAP

Looks like a good roadmap, nothing too unique outside of alot of coins, but I still support you strongly and have a nice stake in it.

Already sent my coins to livecoin for exchange, I just leave em there and they auto upgrade right?

And that means we have to wait approximately one month longer to make this coin back to normal, meaning can be traded back using V2 MOJO, is it right?

If you read carefully, there will be no downtime, you can trade (at Livecoin) through the update, you just need to download the new wallet before you withdraw again.
I'll make a blog post and set up a Twitter repeat to warn and update Facebook and Livecoin will do the same.

Why mojo swapped?

It's quite simple really, we made some new software that was not backward compatible with the old version.

Why mojo swapped?

Maybe this is for your answer

UPDATE

We will do a chain migration with the help of Livecoin (https://www.livecoin.net/). So, Livecoin will host both the MOJO-V1 and MOJO-V2 for some period of time so that you can "buy" MOJO-V2 1:1 with MOJO-V1. Once the swap is complete, V1 will be taken offline and the coins will be provably burnt and the MOJO will continue on the V2 chain. We are working out the details....stay tuned..

UPDATE

Livecoin has agreed to host a coin swap between what we are calling V1MOJO and V2MOJO at this time. The process will go something like this:

1. We will set a date - provisional date: 20/06/2016 (should be 3 weeks from now, final date will be announced end of this week) so that all users are registered at Livecoin and can deposit their V1MOJO.

2. After this date deposits and withdrawals of V1MOJO will be closed.

3. We then take tally of the total amount of V1MOJO on Livecoin to be exchanged.

4. During the V1MOJO 'maintenance' period Livecoin will set up the V2MOJO trading wallet.

5. We then transfer the V2MOJO balance to Livecoin for the swap.

6. Once Livecoin has the V2MOJO wallet running and the coins are transferred, the old V1MOJO wallet will be deleted and they will open deposit/withdrawal of V2MOJO. All coins are operated now in the new
V2 wallet.

7. Once the swap is complete we release the V2MOJO wallets and the source.

8. We will then burn V1MOJO and V2MOJO to provable burn addresses to balance out taking into account how many V1MOJO has been swapped. This may affect the masternode specs. but should not. We'll get back to this.

The good news is that during this process, Mojocoin clients WILL NOT be limited in exchange and trading operations at Livecoin. Trades will not interfere with the process of moving to the new blockchain. So, there is no downtime during the transfer process.

Obviously, the other exchanges that carry V1MOJO will be advised to stop trading and update during this period.

After the process, V1MOJO will be taken "off-line" in the sense that nodes will be taken down, block explorers updated. etc.

We will start announcing on all channels and Livecoin will start announcing as well as soon as we agree on the cut off date. We think that 2-3 weeks is enough. I will answer any questions about this, but I am off on a school half-term break between Monday - Thursday and will be "off-line".

MOJO will move on so don't worry...ED: (I always said that this was a long term thing so don't panic if there are no updates for a few days, we are working behind the scenes but we don't have a team of people to keep this and Twitter etc. updated all the time.)

Awesome, looks like MOJO got its mojo back!
