Hello,

I'm new to Monero, so please use the most basic explanations. Thanks!

I've sent XMR from Kraken exchange to my Gui wallet a while ago, using an integrated adress. Only I didn't notice that my wallet was not connected at that moment.

Later I connected the wallet using a node from Monero World. Also I've deleted the cache to let the wallet rebuild. I've also checked if the transaction is listed in the blockchain, which is the case. Still, the GUI wallet does on my Macbook not show the right amount of XMR, while it is connected.

What can I do to make my transaction visible in the wallet?

Because of the on-by-default nature of the privacy technologies, Monero is fungible, meaning one Monero will always be equal to another. This means you won't have to worry about Monero blacklisted by exchanges or vendors.

Monero can't be hacked to steal your funds, due to the power of distributed consensus, which you can read about here. This means that you are responsible for your money, and don't have to trust any entity to keep it safe for you.

Does anyone know how to uninstall the latest Monero GUI Beta 2 from Ubuntu? I got it to install and created a wallet, but ran into some daemon problems trying to access that wallet so now I'm trying to start fresh. I'm new to Linux, so take that into some consideration.

...It turned out that the sender did not register "payment id"...

What can you do now?

If XMR was sent on an exchange. You should open a support ticket with this information and they should credit it to your account.   Exchange got your XMR, but without payment ID they have no ideas to whom it belong.

Oк, thank you.

Is there any significance to the following warning in the monero-wallet-cli log? I'm currently seeing it multiple times there, along with not seeing a seemingly successful transaction that I made earlier actually go out to the network -- but the fact that I made a transaction might just be coincidental to this warning, which is one reason I'm asking. Also, tangential, the word "unconfirmed" is misspelled, lol:

Moneromooo helped me out with this on IRC, but he wasn't able to figure out the cause of my transaction being rejected. Really weird if it's a bug and not some odd reason for the network to reject the transaction. Anyway, it would've required some more in-depth logging of what my wallet was doing (compiling the wallet software with some custom code), so I ended up just doing another transaction. I've since done two transactions from the same set up without issue, so who knows what caused this one to get stuck.

I have been running the monero wallet on android using GnuRoot.  It started giving these errors.  What does it mean and how do you fix it?

Code:

Anyone should help if they know the solution.  I did so far saw this pattern. Fast help on IRC when I was experimenting with mining was what attracted me to Monero most in 2014.
But to get help you also need o show some initiative. Noone can help you if you are only 10% ready to receive help.
