You might not get an answer.  Weeks and months go by here with nothing but the sound of crickets.
Couple of suggestions:
pm dEBRUYNE or one of the other experts, tell him you posted a question in the Monero support thread,
or post on another monero thread

Hello,

I just downloaded the latest v0.11.1.0 linux 64bits from getmonero.org, I'm running ubuntu 17.10

when I run a command line and launch monerod it crashes instantly with the following messages

I'm in a bit of a hurry as I have to confirm in bisq that I received the funds but I'm unable to check the balance of my wallet because of this. I have also tried to set the gui to use a remote node but nothing happens when I click the connect button in the wallet settings.

Anybody can help with this ?

Biggest improvement will be without a doubt the ability to split the requested work to individual miners. That means unlike other solutions, it will appear to the pool as a single miner requesting work at normal rate, but at the cumulative difficulty the miners connected to the backend are capable of. This not only potentially reduces the load on the pool servers dramatically, but also allows for more efficient mining. First tests have shown a dramatic increase of hashrate especially with low hashrate miners.

Which OS are you using? It should be visible in the terminal if you're using Linux or Mac OS X and launch the GUI from the terminal.

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04
It looks like the gui is working.  I opened it from the terminal.

There's still no way to check the block height.
By the way, what does it mean

I can't get the gui to connect to a remote node.
I went to settings, and typed the daemon address and port.
When I click on Show Status, a box pops up with the error message
error: couldn't connect to daemon: 127.0.0.1:18081
I also tried clicking the Connect button on the page where I entered the remote node's address.
How do I get this to work?

Could you try this?

https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/3259/how-can-i-connect-remotely-to-my-own-node-for-other-devices
I tried that.
With the CLI, I can find out whether the wallet is syncing by using the status command.  I need to do that in the gui to find out whether my wallet is syncing.  I can't go by the amount.  I copied the wallet files, so the correct amount shows but that doesn't tell me anything about the block height the wallet is at now.  How do you check the status, i.e. block height the wallet is at?

Which OS are you using? It should be visible in the terminal if you're using Linux or Mac OS X and launch the GUI from the terminal.

hi, i wan´t to create a paper-wallet on an offline-system. I read this:

"A Monero paper wallet can be generated by downloading the source code of https://moneroaddress.org/. Verify the signature of the code on a trusted airgapped device." q: https://getmonero.org/resources/moneropedia/wallet.html

How can i do step 2: "Verify the signature of the code on a trusted airgapped device"?

I think, this has to be done: " In order to check either, you first need to import moneromooo's GPG key from the Monero source tree: gpg --import moneromooo.asc"

I downloadet the 3 files: README.md monero-wallet-generator.html monero-wallet-generator.html.asc

But how does it work? Where do i have to put in the "gpg --import moneromooo.asc"? In Windows10-Console - CMD? That doesen´t works.

Those instructions are for Linux, where you can just use git from the command line. If you're using Windows you should use a third party / GUI client (googling gives good results). However, I'd advise to just use either of these guides to create a secure paper wallet:

hi
how to access my wallet using view key ?
is it possible using monero gui ? i lost my wallet file and password and only have main address and view key from it .
it was local wallet .
i tried monero gui but cant see where to put view key
any help?

You can only restore your funds with either the .keys file + its password, the 25 word mnemonic seed, or the private spend key. If you have neither of those you should, unfortunately, consider your funds as lost.

Hey guys, the other night I tried to send monero through xmr.to to pay for something... and I ran into an issue idk how to deal with on the new GUI.

So my transaction apparently never made it out to the blockchain and has been "pending" for quite sometime.  I tried "Rescan wallet balance", without the wallet actually rescanning anything and the problem still continues.

I found this on stack exchange, but don't know how to run any of those commands through the GUI.

Halp? Huh

Try these steps:

1. Exit the GUI and make sure to close the daemon as well.

2. Open monerod manually.

3. Type flush_txpool.

4. Open the GUI.

5. Use the rescan spent button in the GUI.

Let me know if this works.

Does anyone know an answer as to whether the Ledger Nano S will or will not support XMR (Monero)? The answers / posts here are ambiguous and lack concise details regarding an answer to the question and with respect to when.

The Nano S will have Monero support as far as I know.

Hello,

I'm new to Monero, so please use the most basic explanations. Thanks!

I've sent XMR from Kraken exchange to my Gui wallet a while ago, using an integrated adress. Only I didn't notice that my wallet was not connected at that moment.

Later I connected the wallet using a node from Monero World. Also I've deleted the cache to let the wallet rebuild. I've also checked if the transaction is listed in the blockchain, which is the case. Still, the GUI wallet does on my Macbook not show the right amount of XMR, while it is connected.

What can I do to make my transaction visible in the wallet?

Could you first verify that your transaction actually arrived?

Does anyone know how to uninstall the latest Monero GUI Beta 2 from Ubuntu? I got it to install and created a wallet, but ran into some daemon problems trying to access that wallet so now I'm trying to start fresh. I'm new to Linux, so take that into some consideration.

Just delete the binaries and delete the $HOME/.bitmonero directory (note that this directory is hidden by default). Also, could you try the new release? You can grab it from here:

https://getmonero.org/downloads/

Lastly, if your local node is acting wonky, you can always use a remote node:
