Money is valuable for me too but it is not everything. Relations and love can't be bought with money so it can never stand above these things. Money can buy happiness and it can make life smoother but losing your loved ones and the one who cares because of your greed towards money will make your life harder when you will become old and when you are lying in bed waiting for your last breathe.
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?
People are becoming more and more aware of the fact that the universe can be explained otherwise than just a random god coming outa nowhere making the world in 7 days and turning 4.2 billion years of evolution into 6000 years of Adam&Eva.
I personally, place only a few things above money. Money is an important aspect of our lives and I love to spend money.. But to spend it, you first need it! I'm aware of the tons of people who have a lot of money and are basically just HODL'ing it, but if I had billions, I'd seriously consider supporting researches to climate change, hunger or space travel.
Personally, I do not base my respect on age. It's a bit more complicated than that. If I see a 20-year old man who has broken his leg, I'd prefer to let him take my seat, rather than an 80-year old who's able to walk just fine. I base my respect on such factors and above all how nice someone is.
I'm not sure about other people, but personally, I do not do everything I do for money.
And to your first sentence, "everything depends on money", yeah. Yeah, everything depends on money. Everything is doable... with money!

Earning money is to live. God also said that we must work on what we will be eating and other stuff because of the sin of Adam and Eve.
This aint paradise anymore. If you dont move you die, then you go to hell. That is because you become lazy which is the number 1 that God hates.

Yes now the situation is like that, people can and are willing to do anything for the money. We know, the money can run out. Surely as for others, Money is one of the main source of life in this world. Religions are beginning to weaken, as most if the people tend to praise money than any other Gods. As for this reason, Gods' can't provide you your food, shelter, luxuries, happiness and etc. But, Money can. Since, God is just a piece of our imaginations in which we were raise and taught to have fear in them. Thus, as time goes by people are beginning to more liberated and realistic. In which, they prefer to look for money just to survive and to satisfied our mind and body. Sad reality of this world is that Money is indeed the root of all evil. But, No one will see that in that way. Money controls everything, without money you are nothing.
To answer your question. In realistic world, Money is indeed above all things. Why? Most of the powerful man in the world holds a lot money in which they can dictate one's destiny and future. In this world of full of materialistic people and Idea, We can't survive w/o money. A concrete example in which I want to point out, Here in our country even Public Hospitals won't accept you if you don't have any money to pay. To cut it short, If you were born as a poor you will surely die as poor.
Money is not above all things! Rather it is below many things. We can not over rate the values of money to be above life's God's and our own joy. God is above all including the God of money! If you look at the value of this precious life we are living then you will not equate it with money. Though we must accept this reality that money "is the root of all evil" people like to worship the God of GoLd rather than the God of creation.
I think what you have to say is true, you are living in this modern era that all its needs can be obtained only with money, all of it is busy looking for it and all striving to become the richest no matter how, the money in power this time you can do Whatever you want with your money, you can manage other people with your money, but I think the money is only a nominal number, we know that number is no limit the more you search the more you feel less,

If we are really seeing on the holy aspect then this thing is indeed a reality on which people are really busy on searching things or ways that can able to earn money.Most people would really think of this thing because without money you wont really survive at all on living on this physical world knowing that you would really need money in able to do so thats why people are eager to earn money but as a human being we should not really forget to go to church no matter how busy we are. At this point for a majority of the western world there is nothing more interesting than materialistic pursuits, and individualistic at that. There is nothing more than money for them because, simply put, they have nothing else to believe in. It's basically just hedonism and degeneracy weakening a society which will collapse and said money will become worthless, ah but what the hell does it matter anymore. Everyone is interested in money for something, but for a majority of the users on this forum I would be willing to bet they do not care for their kids or anything down the line. It will be a self-serving mindset till the day they die.Shame we have no strong leaders or countries anymore.

In the starting when I was looking to make money in the internet and each time at every end of the browsing I was only looking for the money making sites and money making ways but I was usually get failed to get better way .But ofcourse when I get into bitcoin then I made earnings and I was working hard day and night .
But after earnings of about 1000$ ( approx ) , there was not much value of the money in my life .
Because I understand well because money is made to enjoy the life , not to get into tension or make life full of sadness to make money.
Then from that day I am using my small hard work to make money instead of hard working blindly .
And also here I would like to suggest everyone that don't go for the money making programs directly , First of all try to learn in better way and learn new new things daily instead to get money from hard work , make money from smart work .

In my opinion, Money is not above all things. Yes we have many needs in our daily lifes so we indeed need money. But all of the success you have because of earning money it is not good to disrespect elders because now you can buy many things that they did not afford. Very wrong, before you adore money as well as make sure you did not lose your good attitude because of becoming greedy in money.

i believe money is something crucial, something that we need to gain what we want. how to fullfill what we need makes money above all the things that make us better and bring us happiness. and because all the thing in the world need money and the easier way to get it is with money itself, so i guess i agree that money above all things.
People say money doesn't buy everything (Health for example). Well, I believe that money can buy many things, but it is not above all things. With money, you can reach the things you want. Added to that, I think money is equal to these things. No money, no things. Money can save you from many things. Money is power...and power corrupts.

Not every body is a religious person, so don't judge them. Not all people go to church is a good person. Even Pope Franscis say “If I say I am Catholic and go to mass, but then don’t speak with my parents, help my grandparents or the poor, go and see those who are sick, this does not prove my faith, there’s no point,” Money might blind some people but not all of them.Jump to:
