MoneyPot is pleased to announce that we are now offering the option for stealth deposits! When creating a new deposit address simply select "Multi-Sig Cold Address"

Please note that a 1% fee is charged on all deposits made to cold addresses.

Happy betting!
What is the difference between the Multi Sig Cold Address and the normal, non multi sig address you already offer? Seems like it's the same thing, except this time it is Multi-Sig. Same fees, sounds the same.

Edit: Went on your site and it seems the non multi-sig option was removed. Guess that this is just the replacement. Just so you know, the link for more info (https://www.moneypot.com/faq#cold-addresses) takes you to a place in the FAQ that doesn't mention stealth deposits and stealth deposits don't have any info in the FAQ either. Please fix it.

The cold deposits were removed and non-existent for the 'new' moneypot until just recently.  We will update the FAQ to address cold deposits shortly (we're in the works of re-doing the whole faq section).

I am unable to login to the server. I am able to login 8 hours ago. So i am guessing the server is temporary down. Just have to wait for a while.

Yes it is down for me too. I've only been able to login intermittently. Has the look/feel of a DDOS attack so I'm happy to be patient and let the MP guys upgrade their defenses. I'd rather wait for a fix then have them pay attackers off, because that only funds further attacks.

I'm interested in everyone's thoughts about an app launching its own new currency as a promotional tool, and then asking/expecting MP to support that new currency in some manner. Most immediately I'm talking about Rubies, which were issued by Betterbets.io.

Is it in MP's interest to have every app launch their own currency? I know we only have one currency now, but where does MP draw the lines? At some point does MP have an argument to launch its own currency that can be used for promotional purposes across the entire platform, and by all the apps? For example, MP funds all the faucets. All of these faucets could be issuing this common currency, thereby giving it more value. MP might also be able to issue blocks of these coins to the app holders themselves, thereby incentivizing them to support that currency rather than trying to launch their own.

From MP's position, I'm not sure what to think of Betterbets' launch of Rubies. Is it a non issue? Inconvenient? Or something that is going to fester and come to a head at some later date? Do we really want each app to launch its own currency, such that MP also becomes an exchange for a few dozen app-exclusive casino chips?

It appears RBIES integration is coming to the whole of MoneyPot. As an app dev, I'm just waiting it out to find out what adjustments I'll need to make to include support for them (and any other alts).

Im invested in Rubies and use them to bet too so this is great news.

if i lend 10 btc for 1 year for moneypot how much can i get back

You dont lend 10 btc to moneypot but you invest it and in any circumstances you can always withdraw it if you feel that you need that bitcoin back and the return for that is pretty much depends on the house edge on long term around 0.3 % according to these sites however current profit is triple of that http://dicesites.com/moneypot

Okok. That is a good way to invest. I will keep following.

Just wanted to point out that you guys have a minor typo in the sending to another Moneypot user section. It says that there are 0 bits of transactions fees, but it automatically adds 100 bits on top of the amount you are wanting to send. It is purely a visual glitch though, as sending to another user doesn't deduct the extra 100 bits it shows. Confused me for a bit. Not a very serious issue, but it would be nice if you could get it fixed.

Done! Thank you very much for pointing this out.

Rubies is an at least somewhat established currency. Also BetterBets is one of MP's bigger apps if not the biggest, so if anything this is the exception that proves the rule.

Wow, I didn't realize BetterBets is about 75-80% of MP's bets. I guess BB is smart to launch their currency and get it established while they are in a position to basically tell MP how it is. I'm guessing for the time being, and for the foreseeable future, MP has to be supportive.

It is true that BetterBets is one of bigger casino app of Moneypot, but lets not forget other apps that are doing well too. We have Bit-Exo and Dust Lottery who have about 40M+ Bets, and theres a bunch more https://dicesites.com/moneypot. Tho even if BetterBets is our biggest casino app, they don't control our decisions, nor do we control theirs. Anyone is free to open any service they deem possible as long as it doesn't hinder other apps.

Oh, and incase you guys missed a few pages back, Moneypot is not planning on adding alt-coins, but working already to add alt-coins and the first coin to be integrated is Rubies.

-uni

PS: BetterBets is not 75-80% of MP's "bets", i guess its the "Total wager" is what you meant.

Moneypot is down again for me. Two unexpected outages in 2 days ... not that I'm counting. Just want my action guys. I'm an addict, so sue me!

MP is working fine for me at the moment. Also, the numbers on https://www.moneypot.com/investment keeps changing as I refresh the page, so MP is probably working fine for many others as well.

Yea looks good for me as well, have you tried deleting your cookies?

It is back up now for me as well. May have been just me.
